Act 371: Triggered

It didn't feel like some time had been spent by these two people, either, the one where they should train each seriously should instead end up here chatting casually as if they had forgotten the training obligations that they were carrying.

"By the way time doesn't feel Danny." Patricia saw how the weather had started to turn slightly dim as the sun had started to shift from above and could now be seen clearly between the vast sea, he could see the sun that only took a few more hours before the sun actually set there; the girl herself had completely forgotten about the exercise that should be run together with her two friends on this beach.

Danny also did not really remember again how the exercise that he had previously only been told to rest thirty minutes, now he even spent a lot longer until finally the afternoon arrived.

"Is there anything I forgot to do?" Danny scratched his own head, Patricia a little attention to what his friend said, but he himself was also confused to remember what they were actually doing there.

It was so fun to enjoy the beauty of the sea from an ideal position like this, making Danny and Patricia complacent and even forget the important things that were their purpose on this island.

Not long after that Danny blinked his eyes again because he still could not take his eyes off the beautiful scenery, even he who had questioned his existence here again forgot because so peaceful his place was, that whatever came to his mind would pass so quickly.

"Ah? Who?" Danny immediately saw a person blocking him from a short distance away, he did not know who was nearby suddenly, though he had just winked and instead he was being blocked by someone at this time.

Patricia also saw the same person, in just one blink of an eye, she saw someone standing near Danny, who was, which must be because a person who suddenly appeared turned his back on the light to finally make the face of the person who was suddenly there difficult to see because of the shadows.

Danny slowly looked up, a man he did not suspect and did not expect at all, by looking at him for a moment he knew his purpose was on this island.

"Tu-Mister Housen?!"

"Danny, why are you here with this girl?" Mr. Housen whose face was shaded and not too clearly visible how his expression was asking what he really had to ask.

Danny who enjoyed the atmosphere too much until finally forgot his true purpose was not so thought by him the reason why he could-can he be here, besides indeed because chasing the shadow of his friend's past.

Danny was finally able to think of the exact explanation he could reveal to his teacher.

"I didn't think it was you, sir, who saw that old friend was just me, so it was just in my mind." Danny explained it simply, because indeed he now knew very well the event where he heard and saw his old friend was not real.

"After a few moments of conversation, we were finally stunned by this beautiful sea view and we both forgot about our training." Patricia completes the explanation so that everything becomes clear and it is good.

Mr. Housen who then saw the expression of his disciple who felt guilty finally understood why he suddenly could not find it in the green area in the middle of the island, but there was something else that made him curious about this young man.

"Danny, this training ground of ours and your friend do you know how far it is?"

Hearing Mr Housen's question made Danny confused, isn't the distance between his training ground and here not too far away? Even he could get to this place quickly.

Patricia nodded slowly in agreement. "You're right."

Eventually Danny and Patricia walked along the waterfront and found a way where they headed to the center of the island to get back home, they had to go back together because Vincent and Brock had gone home first.

The next day Danny returned to training early in the morning at the same place, which was in the middle of the island not far from his teacher's house, a field of grass surrounded by adjacent trees and also tall grass bushes.

His friends, Patricia, Brock, and Vincent have been taken care of by his teacher and are training at the same place as yesterday.

Now Danny was looking at how Mr. Housen, his teacher looked at him seriously as if he was looking at someone who could not be expected, and as if he was watching him closely.

Seeing this made Danny somewhat nervous, what else did this teacher think? Will he undergo an unpredictable training like before?

The young-looking old man's yellow eyes stared at him sharply and thoroughly, it was unthinkable what step he would take at this moment.

"A-what's up, sir?" Danny feels bad because he continues to be stared at like that, if he has to return to training like yesterday at least he can be more prepared than the previous training.

"I have a question for you, Danny." Mr. Housen crossed his arms around his chest, it seemed like what he was going to ask was such an important matter and not messing around.

"Can you, what do you want to know?"

"Are you so close to your old friend?"

"What?" Danny slightly did not understand why his teacher suddenly asked such a thing?

But Danny had no choice but to answer him, Mr. Housen seemed to ask as simple as possible which is the essence of the question.
