Act 369: A Distinction Looks More Clear That Finally Makes It All Clear
"Ah? My old friend? Her name is Cecilia, she's an elven woman I first met, she saved and took care of me when the destruction of my village happened."
Patricia who had just heard the past of this friend felt sympathy, it was unexpected that even at first she had lost many people who were valuable to her, it was definitely a hard thing for her.
"Why not see your old friend?" Patricia knew before that Danny had said his friend left him, but if that happens, wouldn't it be just to see him back and everything can be calm?
"I lost both my friends, Cecilia and Forhan while on a mission directly commanded by the Eastern Kingdom, and to this day I don't know where the two of them are." Danny explains this to Patricia, who is the one person who just found out about his past.
"Aah so yeah." Patricia finally could not argue anymore that meeting someone who had not been met for a long time and did not know where the location would be as easy as he thought before.
Patricia who is still curious why Danny can appear suddenly from behind him where the area behind it is a narrow area with trees and bushes that are quite high.
"Are you here part of Danny's training?"
"A-ah no, I just felt there was the existence of my old friend and without a second thought I chased him here." Danny finally realized that what he saw was not reality but only a shadow of his mind that wanted him to meet his old friend.
"But then it's just a shadow of my imagination haha ...." Danny closed his face again, not long before he thought to forget what was behind him quickly also he denied what became his determination.
Patricia who sees Danny still confused and does not believe in him it makes him feel is all this because of him? Maybe Danny suffered from seeing him like his old friend?
Patricia had just learned what was really going on inside her friend, and hearing this truth made him want to help find a solution to what could be done so that his friend would no longer behave like that.
Danny himself who just said the thing he felt and how it tormented him did not intend to make Patricia say that, but he was just carried away by the feelings that always come to him, this, blaming Patricia just because her appearance was the same as her old friend was not something she should have thought about and done.
"Ah, not so Patricia, I just feel like I'm in a mess right now, because I can't protect my old friends, and the memory of that keeps coming to me."
Finally, Patricia knew that it turned out that Danny felt responsible for losing both of his friends, when it did not get there, when viewed more deeply he had lost everything, the closest person, he was, his friends and things that are valuable to him.

"Don't you remember anything bad?" Danny felt that the words deserved to be pinned on him because he felt that often many things happened beyond his own ability.
"Everybody has a past and it's not always good, but there are some who choose to keep blaming themselves and living in the past and some who choose to leave it and take new steps for a brighter future." Patricia revealed what she thought about the problems faced by this friend, it turns out that in this situation she can say wisely too, she did learn many things also during adventuring alone.
Downstream of the wind hit them both, a cool and fresh breeze in the middle of the day which is indeed one of the things worth enjoying here, Patricia looked at the beauty of the sky while maintaining that her long hair was not disheveled.
Danny who heard and watched every word spoken from his friend, he saw a different beauty that he again felt when Patricia advised him like that.
