Act 60: Before Exercise

After enjoying the beauty of the night so amazing, Danny and Patricia go back inside to rest their bodies, about until midnight they see the beauty of the night.

As soon as they opened the entrance of the house, they were both startled by Grandpa Leith's presence in neatly dressed suits like a rich man in general, and also he looks neater because his thick mustache and beard is missing from the surface of his face.

Danny looked closely at the grandfather's face, though, indeed his hair is neater and more orderly and again his hair makes his appearance more authoritative even though he looks older than Sam's grandfather he had met before.

"Sir... You're tidying your hair, huh?" danny asked, showing his hands to Grandpa's face.

"Huh?" Grandpa was touching his own hair.

"You're right, besides that I also tidied up my mustache and beard haha!" he said while refusing his own waist.

Danny and Patricia are thrilled to see Leith's grandfather perform better than he ever met.

"I decided to tidy up my appearance because of you guys, I want you guys to be more excited in this exercise, so I will review the appearance of this old geezer in order to be more pleasing to the eye. haha!" the grandfather was still laughing satisfied with the end result.

"Sir, your servants are tidying up your looks?" patricia asked, the answer was definitely yes, but he was impressed to know the answer directly from the grandfather's mouth.

"... Not all... I was helped by my servants, but it was just a matter of hair only. mustache and beard I shaved myself. haha." he said with a proud feeling.

Danny thought that Leith's grandfather would give up the appearance business entirely to his servants, apparently not. Grandpa Leith was also impressed to be able to do it himself and indeed the results were satisfactory.

He was not a master who arbitrarily in his servant, Danny could feel that, the servants of Grandpa Leithpun put a high respect on his master.

"Grandfather hasn't slept?", Danny was worried that Leith's grandfather wasn't sleeping because of him, after all, even though he would be training Danny still he was old.

Grandpa Leith approached Danny and Patricia, "It's already night, but I need to talk to you for a minute, Danny," Then Patricia yawned.

"You young girl, go to your room, you look sleepy, you look,"

"Alright, cake." Patricia responded spontaneously by walking a little limp and stretching her body occasionally while heading to her own room.

Grandpa Leith approached and patted Danny on the shoulder, "We'll talk for a while, let's sit on that couch.." Grandpa Leith took him with him.

There is a long sofa chair near the entrance, behind it there is a fairly large window, maybe the goal is so that someone can relax on the sofa while enjoying the atmosphere outside the spacious yard.

Finally, Danny and Grandpa sat on the long sofa chair, next to each other.

"What's the cake?" danny asks, Leith's grandfather folds his hand slightly and then starts talking to Danny.

"Hey Danny, I think you should know something before we start our rehearsal." Danny was curious, maybe there's something he doesn't know yet?

Grandpa Leith sighed, "What is your condition now?" Danny wondered why Leith's grandfather asked about his condition?

"Oh, I'm fine cake, I may have had a pretty heavy fight, but I managed to recover the cake, now my condition is better..." Danny tried to answer as best he could, he did not make up the story about his condition.

"Hmmm.." The old man looked at Danny's face carefully.

"I thought you were right. I just wanted to make sure how you were doing before we practiced."

Danny suddenly remembered the words of the servant girl who gave him advice during the day, "Grandfather, I've been trying to improve my mental state really, I've heard from one of the grandfather's servants, I've heard from one of my grandfather's servants, that indeed this exercise will affect my mental."

Grandpa Leith nodded, "Yes, you're right Danny, the training you're going to undergo will indeed affect your mentality more, it will test how strong your physique and most importantly your mental..." grandpa Leith then stood up and put his hands behind him exactly like the rest pose, indeed it was the style of most parents.

"With the magic stone, then it will reveal all about its users, I said so right?"Danny nodded.

"The stone will analyze and adapt itself to its users, and reveal all that is in its own holder." Leith's grandfather's explanation began to make Danny curious plus confused.

"...and I've been told by the magic stone the power of you Danny." Danny's eyes widened when he heard the grandfather's statement, meaning he did not fully understand.

Danny followed up to see Leith's grandfather who seemed to be thinking about something, "Sir... does that mean.. Grandpa knows all about me?" danny said slowly, Leith's grandfather then looked back at Danny.

"Not all..just an outline about you Danny." said Leith's grandfather, the outlines of the expressions were poorly understood by Danny.

"The point is, the magic stone is able to reveal information for the good of its users, for example, I know some of your past. This is so that I can analyze how ready you will undergo this exercise." Danny was astonished, although this was somewhat personal because it concerned his past but he could not do anything because it was for his own sake.

"Ah.. I understand why you ask me the condition of the cake, maybe you're not worried as much about my physique as this, but rather you're worried about my mentality?" Danny tried to guess the reason for the grandfather asking about his condition, and he seemed to be right.

"Yes.I know you are a young man of the village.I seem ordinary.but you have been awarded to have all the magic gemstones that are very rare and have this special power." the explanation Leith's grandfather would explain seemed to be so long.

"We demi-humans, bequeathed these five gemstones in order to keep our race going, but it didn't seem to work" Leith's grandfather began telling Danny

"Because of the attack of such a powerful demon, eventually most of the demi-human races had to be wiped out, unable to survive let alone fight back, but that doesn't mean this is the end of it all, some demi-humans were able to escape the attack and eventually split our existence into all corners of this Hello."

Leith's grandfather began to see stars in the sky that seemed to fade with time, "We could only hide our five gemstones, and each holder was only one gemstone allowed to be used..."

Danny was curious as to the reason that the five gemstones could not be used at once, "Why so cake?" Danny couldn't stem the curiosity.

"...we can die because of the power of this gemstone." said grandfather Leith slowly.

"Can... die?"
