Act 544: Above Destiny

"You were sent as a man who had the strength of our race." Gaberl.

"What?" Danny was silent, trying to process what he heard.

Grandpa Danny was silent as well, he knew Danny was growing up well, submissive as ever, just that there was a little radiance of power in him.

"So I'm not human?" Danny made sure again, he was still confused.

"You're half human-half race of angels." Gaberl smiles.

"WA!" Danny didn't expect to hear anything like this!

No wind without rain, he even heard this shocking fact!

'I've never heard of it from grandfather.' It feels strange to hear the sudden reality. But Danny knows where the angel race might lie.

"So that's why I survived the 'death'?"

Gaberl. He did not expect the young man to understand, after all what happened did not make sense, trying to understand was useless.

No need to understand, just trust. That would be a lot easier.

"We put you in a ruined holy temple, and your grandfather took care of you until your mission began."

Gaberl's explanation is more clear, it feels easier not to believe than to believe. But once again Danny knows it's impossible for the angel race not to tell the truth.

‘I am from the temple half angel and half human.’ Danny was silent, he pondered what he heard, ultimately wanting how long he thought remained absurd as well.

Just as irrational as ‘death’ who rejected it.

“That's why fate brought us to meet again Danny.” Gaberl smiled gently.

'Again?' Truth be told Danny doesn't remember the last time he met this glowing man. Could it have been a long time?

Instead of feeling blunt or how, Danny was trying to see this from his point of view.

“I'm not strong enough to live in this world.” Danny is downcast, looking back at his dark past. He had seen the precious ones leave from before him.

If he was half angel and half human, surely he should have enough power to protect his fellow man, right? But why can't he?

Why can't he protect her? And even a burden to his fellow men.

Danny still has a human side and that needs to be appreciated, too.

Danny was still down, he was afraid to see what would happen. He doubted himself.

“Danny, you've heard, you're not under fate. Destiny is what you think.” Gaberl interrupted the silence, while Danny raised his face.

‘Although the demon lord is his opponent?’ ask Danny in my heart.

Gaberl nodded with a small smile.

It's undeniable Danny is facing his own destiny, and it's at the end of the road.

“Feelings are good, but don't lose to him.” Gaberl didn't ask Danny to be cold-blooded, there were times when all feelings had to be grateful.

Feelings at times can be a burden, and if it is so useless anymore than blocking people's steps. Gaberl knows this young man has gone through many things that certainly drain the emotions, mind and soul.

Danny looked back at the flashbacks that happened to him, it is undeniable that everything that happened has happened and cannot be repeated.

Both his present existence and everyone's circumstances, everything was not fine. But as long as he tried, something would change.

Even when faced with destiny itself!

Gaberl was silent, this young man had indeed gone through many things in his life, in fact the angel race planned to send him without feeling at all.

It was intended that this sent young man did not deviate from his own destiny. Since many things happened, it was not impossible for people to change.

But it turned out that it was not like that, the young man named Danny lived the life as he should, he even happily accepted the reality of ‘horrible’ that happened to him.

After all, the angelic race could not openly send the angel race directly to prevent the evil plans of the demons, because it was in violation of the covenant they had already tied. The angelic race had prepared this prevention plan long ago even right after the covenant of humans and demons was formed.

Another case when Danny appeared in the world, he was fully human who had the power of the angel race.

Danny did not expect this mystery was finally revealed as well, the reason why ‘katian’ did not want it. Nothing else but fate would not allow it!

‘If I walk on destiny. that means... I can stop it.’ Danny closed his eyes, his eyebrows sharply downward.

His confidence awakened slowly, his heart's determination came back strong. This was the end, he stripped off all his burdens and stepped forward. That's all he can do.

While it was slowly but surely a ray of light came back to cover him, Danny opened his eyes and smiled slightly. “We can definitely.”
