The Marrying Bet

The Marrying Bet
Lavais

Viceroy had wanted to spend his time with a picnic with Vara and Vara's friends, problems at his job made Viceroy have to intervene to solve it. Yes, Viceroy had to rampage first to vent his frustration because the ship loaded with fuel oil that sailed to the mining site Aurum Mining was held captive by local residents for being accused of crashing into a fish cage owned by residents. The ship and the crew were taken captive by locals, while customers needed fuel orders to be delivered to the site to keep the project running smoothly. Mr. Satria as the operational manager has tried to negotiate as much as possible, but the results are nil, which there is a man who also became a local citizen prisoner.

Viceroy brought a suitcase with money that Riko had prepared because the locals did want money as a result of negotiations.

"Sorry, interrupt your holiday, Mr. Riko," Viceroy told Riko.

"No problem, sir," Riko replied.

Viceroy immediately entered the helicopter which took him away to his destination. Without taking a long time, the helicopter immediately landed on the runway of the helicopter on board the fuel oil carrier.

All eyes were on the man who looked simple. Viceroy was wearing a bulletproof vest he covered with a hooded jacket.

"Make sure there are not even a liter of oil coming out of the tank, they must be targeting the existing oil, in addition to targeting the money!" viceroy said to the crew of the ship on guard.

Viceroy immediately got off his ship to meet the leader of the village. The atmosphere felt so tense, all eyes were on him. Viceroy arrives at a simple house filled with citizens.

Mr. Satria and Captain Johan were seen sitting cross-legged in front of the man sitting on the floor with one leg bent against his stomach.

"This is your leader?!" the man sounded half-stomped at Mr. Satria and Captain Johan.

"No, sir, I'm just a messenger," the Viceroy replied calmly. "My name is Viceroy" Viceroy introduced himself.

"I am the Vicar, who was appointed to be the ruler of this village!" said the man glaring towards Viceroy.

"Yes, I can see it" replied Viceroy.

"That's a ship that big, hit-and-bump the people's fish cages here! We lost twenty million one days! Not to mention the broken cages, we lost three hundred million!" cecar Vicar.

Viceroy frowned, if this man confessed to a loss of three hundred million, what about Viceroy who would suffer a loss of nearly twenty billion?! Though according to the investigation team, the ship did not really hit the fishing cage, local fishermen deliberately put the cage in the path traversed by the ship, even though the nature guide was careful in carrying out his duties, he said, so that this incident only aims to get compensation money.

"Do you know, in this village, the Lavais have been in power for decades! Now I am in power, Vicar Lavais! So, don't you try anything! Don't be afraid of me with the cops you brought!" exclaims Vikar is back to find Viceroy.

"The Lavais family?" ask Viceroy. "What a coincidence, my name is Viceroy Lavais, my father is Vicram Lavais" Viceroy continued.

Viceroy took out his resident's signature card, proving that he was indeed named Viceroy Lavais.

The vicar looked dumbfounded at the words of Viceroy.

"Vicram Lavais?!" The vicar repeats the name Viceroy's father. "You're Vicram Lavais' son?!"

"Right," replied Viceroy remaining calm.

There were all those noises behind Viceroy.

"You, Vicram's son who used to fish in town?" ask Vikar.

"True, my father died twenty years ago, more precisely twenty-two years ago," the Viceroy replied.

"Geez!" The vicar patted his head in disbelief. "You're Bang Vicram's son and Virda's sister?!" The vikar was wide in disbelief.

"Right," replied Viceroy not understanding.

It was not suitable for the man with the face of the sangar with a thin but muscular body that cried and hugged Viceroy. The man called Bang Vian also hugged Viceroy. Viceroy was stunned, yet he let the two men cry while hugging him. Everyone who saw the incident could only be shocked and astonished.

"You're Roy, who was a kid, I used to carry! I'll take care of you first!" said Vikar while patting Viceroy on the back.

Viceroy really does not believe, that the case that his company is going through will lead him to the reunion of his father's family. Vikar, is Vicram's youngest brother, Viceroy's father and that means Vikar is Viceroy's uncle.

Vicram is a generous male figure who became the backbone of his extended family when he became a fishmaster in the city. Vicram accommodated all his extended family who came from the village. Vicram's extended family was devastated by Vicram's sudden death and decided to return to the village and start their lives over the money they had collected from Vicram while the man was still alive.

"How's Virda? Is he in good health?" ask Bang Vian.

"My mom is fine" replied Viceroy.

"Your brother, Ryo huh, is healthy too?" ask the enthusiastic Vicar.

"Yes, be well" replied Viceroy.

"You're so handsome, like I was young," said Vikar with sparkling eyes staring at Viceroy.

Viceroy suddenly became a celebrity in the village. He even toured the village to visit his father's remaining extended family. Not a few who have died because of the time that continues to run.

Vikar was really happy, meeting with a nephew who had been twenty years away from him.

"This is my nephew from the city!" the Vicar exclaimed along the way introducing Viceroy to everyone.

"Uncle, I'm really sorry, because the company I work for has caused problems" Viceroy said.

"It's great that you can work for such a big company, so are you there?" ask Vikar.

"I'm just an errand boy, Uncle, I'm any job, for a bite of rice, for a wife at home" replied Viceroy.

"Have married, you? How many kids are you?" ask Vikar.

"Not yet, Uncle," replied the grimacing Viceroy.

"So, how much compensation should uncle pay?" ask Viceroy.

"No need, I'll tell you that the fishermen who report, don't look for my niece! It's a pity to come all the way here" Vikar said.

"Don't you, Uncle, I changed twenty million how?" ask Viceroy.

"No need, a lot of it, you know, just replace it all twenty million with ten gallons of oil" Vikar said.

"If oil can't be uncle, it's got people, if it's less than a minute, cut our uncle's pay, want to eat what children and wives at home," Viceroy still negotiates. "Twenty million yes, Uncle," continued Viceroy.

"All right," said the Vicar at last.

"Thank you, Uncle, I'm really grateful to Uncle," Viceroy said.

"It should be Roy, we're still family" replied the Vicar.
