The Viceroy

Viceroy's personal phone rang, but he was still holding meetings with his business development team. Taking care of all his business empire alone would have made Viceroy had to fend for himself. Moreover, he is not the type of person who easily believes in others. Fortunately, he has many employees who are very competent in their field.

"So soon, I'll get a call first" Viceroy asked his team for permission.

He immediately exited the meeting room and answered Ryo's phone.

"What's Ryo?" ask Viceroy.

"Fifteen minutes I'll be at your office! Prepare soon!" Ryo turned off the phone.

"Ck, let alone the hell," Viceroy harrumphed.

He immediately returned to the meeting room.

"Everything, the meeting will continue tomorrow, thanks for the report, please as usual send the minutes to my e-mail, I will learn all the problems," Viceroy closed his meeting this time.

He immediately brought his agenda book and walked out of the meeting room to return to the study. He sat there staring at the amount of work he had to do. Starting from the stack of internal documents to documents from external parties of the company.

If only Vara could help him he would feel his burden could be reduced a little.

Viceroy let out a heavy sigh after receiving a call from his brother. His sister came and picked him up outside the office. Viceroy has taken his time to work longer than usual because there is so much to do. Vara also said that he was overtime. I don't know what Vara did, so she was so busy. Viceroy never asked what Vara did, because Vara seemed to enjoy the job.

Not to mention the astonishing things Viceroy when his mother called this afternoon. Mom tells Sofia about complaining to her mother that Viceroy's wife came to see Sofia.

Though obviously Viceroy was with his wife, spending lunch time together while using the time available to make out. Yes, this afternoon Viceroy fucked with a lonely road waiting?

So who is the woman who came and claimed to be his wife?

Which crazy woman else claims to be Viceroy's wife?

What a woman who has nothing!

A black sports car parked in Viceroy's office. The car's glass opened, and Ryo was already sitting behind the wheel.

"Ride up!" ryo's orders.

Viceroy immediately sat in the front seat, putting on his seatbelt without much talk. 

"You want to be a bad boy cursed to stone? I told you to pick you up!" lamented Ryo.

"Do you think I don't have a job?!" chirp Viceroy who's been pissed off.

"You're! Thank you to Mother who thinks highly of your future!" ryo toilet.

Viceroy just kept quiet, throwing his gaze out the window.

Ryo parked his car in front of a large traditional-style house in the east. The stage house is made of ulin wood with intricate carvings. 

The house seemed to be filled with people who came and gathered. They were immediately greeted warmly by Mr. Haji Bahra as the host. 

Pak Haji Bahra is the richest man in the region. Middle-aged man who became a salesman in the market in the east. The man is very proud that his youngest child, Sofia, will be betrothed to the son of Sister Virda who is famous for being handsome and successful.

Ryo of course recognized them all as his mother's extended family.

"Well, Ryo, you're getting good-looking," said Aunt Heni.

"Thank you, Aunt Heni, how are you?" sapa Ryo making small talk.

"Roy, you've finally come, too" said Virda, welcoming the Viceroy.

"Mother, why bother picking me up here?" ask Viceroy.

"Of course to formalize your match with Sofia" Virda replied.

Viceroy stared silently at how many people saw him, welcoming him like a king. He had to sit cross-legged as everyone else did. Various kinds of traditional sweet snacks immediately served along with the many foods in front of him.

Sofia is seen sitting, accompanied by both her parents and family. Sofia stared timidly at the Viceroy who was even just looking down, throwing her gaze away from everyone.

"Thank you to all the families who have come, today is truly a happy day for all of us, especially for my son Sofia who will be betrothed to Roy, sister Virda's son," said Pak Haji Bahra made an announcement.

The announcement from Pak Haji Bahra received an extraordinary welcome from everyone. But there are also some who seem unable to accept it, especially the family of Haji Badrun and Haji Jaelani who once rejected Virda's proposal. Amirah and Maimunah look annoyed at Sofia. They are really jealous of Sofia who will be betrothed to Viceroy. Had they not refused an arranged marriage with Viceroy, now one of them would have been the wife of the handsome man. They were really sorry why they didn't receive the man's proposal.

"Sister Virda, please think again, Roy is more worthy of my grandson," said Bu Haji Badrun.

"Sir Virda, Maimunah's son is more beautiful," said Bu Haji Jaelani, Maimunah's mother.

The two middle-aged women are fighting over Sofia's position for their granddaughter.

"I should have married Viceroy!" amirah said to Sofia.

"I am more deserving of being Roy's wife" Maimunah told Amirah and Sofia.

"Beyond you aunts, Roy will be my husband, just accept the fate of you who are not Roy's match!" sofia said proudly.

Ryo was comforted by the behavior of his mother's family who fought over who deserved to be his sister's wife.

Viceroy just kept quiet, staring at the commotion that was happening. It would be crazy if he was really married to cousins who were fighting each other like Viceroy was just a treat.

Virda throws a glass plate filled with snacks on the floor. The plate shattered and immediately quieted the atmosphere that had been full of commotion. 

"Now is the matchmaking event between Roy and Sofia, please don't make an unnecessary fuss!" virda said making the atmosphere tense for an instant.

Virda stared intently at everyone, who was speechless pecking. Viceroy and Ryo smiled, such was their famous mother who was firm and hard, exactly Viceroy.

Virda is really upset, he decided to make an official matchmaking event between Viceroy and Sofia with the aim that all his extended family know. 

This afternoon, Sofia complains to Virda that she has met Viceroy's wife. Virda finally decides to make Viceroy and Sofia's match as fast as possible so that Viceroy immediately decides to divorce his wife. Right now, even chaos just happened because they were all fighting over who deserved to be Viceroy's wife!

"Mom, I have a lot of business to do, excuse me" Viceroy said.

"Yes Ma'am, I'm sorry too, it feels a waste of time seeing this useless commotion," Ryo said.

Viceroy and Ryo immediately leave the house of Pak Haji Bahra. It was a shame, seeing the behavior of his mother's family, as well as Virda who felt so furious.
