The Marrying Bet

The Marrying Bet
Ryo

Ryo should have met his sister at one of the five-star hotels. They've been arranging appointments since last week. Ryo and his sister are both busy, they are both not like sisters in general. Their relationship is more worthy of being called a rival than a brother. They've been competing with each other since they were kids. Ryo was five years older, he was so jealous when his younger brother was born. Because he thinks his parents love his sister more. Especially when his sister was born, their parents were in a period of glory that made his parents believe that his sister was the bearer of fortune for their family. Since then the more spoiled his sister, and the more jealous Ryo also.

Then their father as the backbone died suddenly. Ryo's burden as the firstborn is certainly as heavy as his mother's. Ryo was required to be a father figure for his sister who was only ten years old at the time. Betting becomes their style of negotiating, that is what Ryo applied to educate his sister not to be spoiled and depend on others.

Ryo arrives at the courtyard of the five-star hotel, he gets out of his car, hands the car keys to the valet parking attendant. He saw a woman who was in a quarrel with a man. The man was even seen jerking the woman's hand until she fell to the floor. Her luggage fell on the floor, the woman seemed to panic picking up her belongings, Ryo immediately helped the woman.

It was ridiculous, Ryo felt thumping because their hands had accidentally touched due to picking up the same item. Yes, this woman made him shadowy all night. The woman who already made him lose the game of badminton. The woman who had been underestimated by Ryo who had never once competed against a woman. An employee who stole his attention and made him want to get to know the woman more closely. Ryo certainly does not memorize the names of his employees one by one, but all employees know who Ryo is.

Vara is the name of the employee who has stolen the attention of Ryo, in just a short time because he has dared to challenge Ryo.

"Thank you Mr. Ryo," said the woman towards Ryo.

Ryo stared at the woman's luggage, there was a racket bag attached to the left shoulder, a large tenteng bag in the right hand, and a sling bag attached to the right shoulder. Did this woman run away from home?

"You want to go to the office?" ask Ryo.

"Right, sir," replied Vara.

Vara could only grimace, her office friends also questioned the same thing. Vara is unlikely to admit that he has been living nomadically lately. Moving from one hotel to another with her husband.

"If you don't mind, I can give you a ride to the office" Ryo said.

"Thank you, sir, I'm just waiting for the online taxi, please continue your business, excuse me," Vara said goodbye.

Ryo snatches the tenteng bag from Vara's hand, the man calls the valet parking attendant to bring his car.

"Sir Ryo, really, you don't have to bother dropping me off" Vara said.

Ryo opens the back door of his car, puts Vara's bag into the back seat, then opens the front door to let Vara in.

Vara is really not good at resisting the will of the leader, he can only obey. Vara put on her seatbelt hesitantly. Ryo smiled, as this woman turned out to be quite obedient. Ryo's phone rang, his sister's name appeared on the screen, seeing Vara sitting next to him making Ryo cancel the appointment with his sister. In his mind, it comes across a plan to get to know Vara more closely because Ryo is really interested in Vara.
