The Marrying Bet

The Marrying Bet
Vara's First Test

Vara immediately booked a taxi online leaving the Viceroy family home. He doesn't understand Viceroy's mother. The woman told him to leave after Vara served tea at his command. Vara serves hot water in a teapot, he also prepares ice cubes in separate containers, various teabags of various types obtained from the kitchen, sugar cane packaging, corn sugar in packs, creamer powder, and other ingredients, cups, saucers, cups, and teaspoons are all prepared separately Vara on a large wooden tray. Vara even poured hot tea into a cup, and served iced tea as well. It is up to the Madam to drink what kind of tea, because the Madam did not say specifically what kind of tea she wanted?

Vara can only serve tea in the kitchen with a modern and minimalist concept. The madam simply folded her hands in front of her chest, looking at Vara with an intimidating glare without saying anything.

***

Virda seemed annoyed, because the woman in front of him was not stupid. Even if this woman serves hot tea in a cup, she will throw or pour this woman-made tea towards this woman. Throwing a cup on the floor as a form of protest for not serving tea as Virda wishes.

However, this young woman actually made him unable to dwell or blame her, because this woman was so intelligent, did not give the opportunity for Virda to look for his mistakes in serving tea. This young woman was so complete to serve tea, that sugar was prepared separately.

Of all the girls who have been tested to serve tea, only this woman has made Virda unable to comment. Usually other girls will ask a lot, want hot tea, or iced tea? Milk tea, or milk iced tea? How many spoons are needed?

Really, Virda will usually spill the tea to the floor, ask for a new tea, until you get the tea that is in accordance with Virda's wishes. Not infrequently every girl he tested needed to make tea many times.

From the test of serving this tea, Virda can assess the personality of a woman. This young lady was apparently smart, meticulous, and very careful. It was as if he had planned everything carefully in such a short time. This woman seems to show that she has prepared everything, while the decision is up to you!

This fox is really cunning! Think Virda.

Virda was really upset, having to admit that this woman had already passed in her first assessment.

"Go!" virda's orders immediately moved from the sofa.

He left Vara looking confused. Madam didn't even touch the tea Vara had prepared. Does he hate Vara so much?

Vara did call the father several times to ask news of the mother who was still angry because Vara married a man who could not make his mother proud. Not to mention Vara heard the accusations of Riko saying that Vara has now become a widow who sells herself.

What if Vara doesn't pass the Viceroy mother's certification test? Vara was truly a widow and father would have really dragged her home.

Why is marrying Viceroy so complicated? Who was Viceroy until his mother was so selective in choosing a daughter-in-law?

It was not that Vara was willing to look down on her in-laws who looked like the new rich. Viceroy's family is rich because his brother works so hard. Viceroy is just a fish trader who does not sell in which market. Vara visits all markets in search of Viceroy, as the man confesses that he is indeed a fish trader. Vara really does not like to be looked down on, because he himself already feels inferior. What else to be humbled like?

Vara brushed aside his bad thoughts. He should not look down on others just because he hears people. It is inappropriate for humans to judge their fellow human beings, feeling superior simply because they come from a well-to-do family, are highly educated, and have high positions.

"San, what else? Walk with yuk," ask Vara to call Santika.

"Sorry, Vara, today I have an appointment with my sister" Santika replied.

"Alright, have fun" said Vara.

In the past Vara was surrounded by many friends, they often spend time together, study, go for a walk, eat, watch movies, go karaoke, to hang out in cafes. But every year, Vara's friends dwindle. Especially those who have focused on households, their time has been seized to take care of their small families.

Somehow Vara felt empty, right said the father, should now be the right age for Vara to really marry, build and care for his small family. Not as obscure as it is today. Looking for friends who can be invited to drive away loneliness.
