Testing Lover Ryo

Ryo drives a car through the dark of the night. Along the way to his home, La vie en rose accompanies him in his solitude. He had brought Vara home, but he felt that the woman was still with him. Staring at him gently with a charming smile that makes Ryo pounding incoherently. 

Ryo smiled, this is not even his first love, yet why is it so soul-shaking?

Not a few women who have been dating, all beautiful women who are certainly as level as her. Ryo is certainly very selective in choosing women who will be dated. He certainly does not want to be like his sister who never dated and instead married a woman carelessly.

Jeny, a lover she has been dating for the past three years, urges her to get married. Jeny felt so tired of the long distance relationship they did.

"Ryo, so when are we getting married?" ask Jeny. 

"Jeny, are you ready to meet my mother?" ask Ryo.

"Why does your mother need to test everything, Ryo? What are my bones? I even come from the top!" Jeny resolutely refused upon hearing that she needed to face the test from Ryo's mother.

"Jeny, I'll marry you if you pass the exam from my mother" Ryo said.

"Ryo, even if I carry your child, I still have to take the silly exam from your mother?!" ask Jeny.

"Of course" answered Ryo. "Therefore, Jeny, prepare yourself well, I'll pick you up" said Ryo.

Jeny is certainly not the only woman to fill Ryo's days in these three years. Even so far, there has been no woman invited by Ryo to meet with his mother because most women have not escaped the selection process Ryo.

Maybe this is the right time for Ryo to bring Jeny to his mother, so Ryo has a reason to end the saturation of their relationship.

"Ryo, my dear," said Jeny in a spoiled voice upon hearing Ryo's voice.

"My most beloved yen, get ready baby, I'll pick you up to see my mother" said Ryo.

"Ryo, why so suddenly?!" said Jeny.

"Jeny, didn't I ask you to prepare yourself first?" ask Ryo.

"You're right, Ryo, but it's too sudden" Jeny replied.

"I'll have my secretary arrange your flight tomorrow morning" Ryo said.

"Can't, honey, I have an important meeting tomorrow" Deny said.

"Jeny, I'll marry you, isn't that what you want?" ask Ryo.

"Well, honey, I love you" replied Jeny.

Ryo hangs up his phone and smiles at the shadow of Vara still accompanying him in the car.

"Just wait, I will definitely have you," Ryo said.

Ryo welcomes Jeny's arrival at the airport. Jeny immediately hugged a lover who had not met for the past six months. Just a phone, messaging, and video calls they can make.

Jeny really wants to marry Ryo, a twenty-five-year-old woman who is in love with a man twelve years her senior. A young and beautiful businessman who is the son of a successful mining entrepreneur.

Ryo had asked his mother for time to test Jeny. Mother will certainly do it with pleasure, because finally Ryo has the intention to get married as well.

Jeny complains while having to wait for Ryo's mother for three hours. The young woman put on an unusually sullen face as Ryo's mother finally appeared after going through a yoga practice session.

"What's your name?" ask Virda.

"Jeny, Auntie," replied Jeny confidently.

"Please prepare some tea" Virda ordered.

"Tante, isn't there a maid in this house?" ask Jeny.

"Yes, but I want you to prepare the tea" Virda replied.

"I'm sorry, Auntie, but making tea is not my job," Deny refused firmly.

Virda laughed at Jeny's words. Is Ryo making fun of him by bringing a dissident woman like this?

Jeny smiled because she felt that Ryo's mother liked her, proof that Ryo's mother could laugh like that.

It seems that Virda had to end his test session with this young woman, rather than having her high blood to relapse due to holding back emotions. 

"You may go" Virda commanded.

"Seriously, Auntie?" ask Jeny in disbelief. "Tante didn't give me a test of love like Ryo said?" continued Jeny.

"No need" Virda replied.

"So Aunt accepted me?" ask Jeny.

"Yes, I accept your farewell immediately," Virda replied with a flat expression. 

"Thank you for taking your time to see me" Virda continued.

Virda immediately leaves Jeny who appears to be sculpting.
