Upon arrival at home, Autumn immediately headed for the room. He even ignored the greeting from Arumi who had just come out of the kitchen. The forty-eight-year-old woman was astonished at the strange demeanor of her eldest daughter. Arumi decides to follow Autumn. However, when he was in front of his daughter's room, it turned out that the door of the princess's private room was locked tightly. "Elle, open the door. What's up, honey?" a soft voice of Arumi was heard from outside the room. Every now and then the woman who still looks beautiful knocks on the door, albeit not too hard.
Meanwhile, Autumn had thrown her body onto the bed. He also buried his face on the pillow while crying as he pleased. As much as possible, he did not want to make a suspicious sound. Autumn slowed down her crying. He did not want Arumi to find out that he was shedding tears at that time.
"Elle, Honey. Open door!" a soft cry from Arumi. However, Autumn does not seem to intend to comply with the request of the mother. The girl still continued to immerse her face on the pillow which was now getting wet with tears. "Alright if you don't want to talk right now. Listen, Honey. Whenever you need a friend, then I'm ready for it," finished saying so, Arumi decided to pass from there. While Autumn still wants to spill all her sadness on the bed.
The night has come. However, Autumn did not join the dining table. The girl was not hungry at all. He was so lazy to do anything, including getting out of bed to just change his clothes and clean his face.
Still imagined in the memory of the gray-eyed girl, the look of a disappointed and sad face shown by Benjamin when he said goodbye. Autumn established the heart to stay away from the single one. Autumn only hoped that when she returned to meet the man she loved dearly, she would still stand to greet him with a warm hug and kiss.
"Elle doesn't join us. Is she okay?" edgar asked, because at the dinner table there was only himself with Arumi. While Darren will only be back in about two days, from the event he participated with his fellow nature lovers.
"Since returning home from work this afternoon, Elle went straight into the room. I've asked, but maybe our daughter wants to be alone" replied Arumi began to eat her dinner menu. "Later also if hungry, he must be out of the room" said the woman again.
"She said she wanted to go on vacation to Indonesia. I wonder why Elle chose that country" Edgar murmured, sighing softly.
Arumi looked at him for a moment, then smiled. He understood the meaning of Edgar's attitude. Since he moved to France decades ago, Arumi was only brought to visit his country of birth about two or three times, that too in a very short time. Edgar reasoned that busyness over work became a major factor. However, Arumi knew very well if it was just making things up. "Indonesia is very broad, Ed. What are you afraid of?" ask Arumi to go back to eating.
"Nothing," Edgar argued trying to keep a calm look.
Arumi smiled again as she mumbled slowly. "We have two grown children. My age is getting older too. Don't you see the wrinkles under my eyes?" the beautiful woman looked at her husband.
Edgar stopped the bribe. He even put down the cutlery he was holding. The man full of charisma then turned to his wife. "May I be clear?" tanyanya while shifting the chair near Arumi who was just laughing slowly. He brought his face closer when Edgar did the same. In the end, their lips touched each other, then linked with a friendly and also warm. It lasted for a while, until the voice of Autumn stopped the scene. "So, is that how you two would be if I and Darren were not around?" he sat in a row of seats to the left of Edgar.
Autumn also smiled, although at that time her shadow was again directed to Benjamin Royce. That man is too. Benjamin wouldn't have felt the slightest hesitation about kissing her anywhere, never knowing a place. They even made love for the first time, on the open veranda of the handsome businessman's beach house. The gray-eyed girl shook her head slowly. He had to learn for a moment to empty his mind of Benjamin. However, he knew that it was a very difficult thing to do.
"Elle, is it true that you're going on vacation in Indonesia?" arumi asked then, after they fell silent for a while.
"Yes, Mom. The last time I went there was when I was very young. I don't know, because all of a sudden it's just the country that's on my mind," Autumn explained, starting to eat her dinner. Apparently, the beautiful girl had already begun to calm down, although there were still remnants of chaos in her eyes. However, Arumi or Edgar did not want to discuss it too deeply.
"Oh, okay. So, when's the plan you're gonna leave?" ask Arumi again.
"I'm taking care of the paperwork he needs. Everything will be done in a few days" Edgar said.
"Yes, I haven't applied for leave yet. However, it looks like it would be better if I just resign," Autumn said slowly.
"It's up to you, Elle," said Edgar after ending his dinner. "As I have said, learn to make the decisions that are most appropriate for your life, after which you must also be consistent with the decisions you have made" after saying so, Edgar stood up and went from there. It appears that the man is having other business in his study.
"Don't sleep too late, Ed," said Arumi loudly enough, as Edgar had begun to move away from the dinner table.
"According to your command, my Queen," said Edgar, turning his head and smiling.
At the dinner table, there were only two of them. Autumn fell silent as she faced the food inside the plate. While Arumi watched her eldest daughter closely. "You don't want to tell me, Elle?" tanyanya reopened the conversation.
"What should I tell you, ma'am?" Autumn seems lazy, discussing what Arumi wants to know from her.
