Honesty is Better

Autumn stared intently at Gabriel. But the man is the opposite. He looked at the girl softly and lovingly. Autumn seemed to want to ask for an explanation to the blond man. "Yes, Elle. I've asked Mr. Hillaire for permission to ask you out on a date. I thought Mr. Hillaire would scold me or even kick me out, but it turned out that he was very kind," Gabriel's big smile came back and adorned his handsome face. His pair of green eyes looked so bright because they were too happy.

"I really appreciate your courage, Gabriel. Rarely is there a man who can be as blatant as you. You remind me of my youth, "Edgar patted Gabriel's arm with a big smile. The man looked very proud of the attitude Gabriel had shown him.

"Alright, Gabriel. I'm so tired. Let's continue this conversation tomorrow" said Autumn feeling uncomfortable with the situation she was facing at the time.

"Sure, Elle. I hope tomorrow you don't come too late" said Gabriel again with a very friendly attitude and face. After that, he said goodbye to Edgar and Arumi. Darren had already passed to his room. By force, Autumn drove the man outside to his parked car.

"What do you mean, Gabriel? How can you do that without asking for my approval first?" the Autumn protest was disturbed by Gabriel's attitude. Gabriel himself still looked calm.

"What's the matter, Elle? I'm single, and you don't have a boyfriend either. I don't think it'll be a problem if we start dating" the green-eyed man said calmly. "Originally you know. I've been interested in you ever since you became a member of my team. I don't know, but you look very different and I like something unique. The unique thing must be special, because not everyone has it," said the man again.

"Everyone has their own uniqueness" argued Autumn.

"Yes, that's for sure and it's the way it is. However, there is one interesting thing that is only owned by certain people and not owned by others" said Gabriel.

"Ah, stop. Don't seduce me anymore, because I won't be impressed. You should also know one thing that I already have a lover. Therefore, I will not date any man including you" Autumn said confidently. The girl folded her hands on her chest.

"really? Did the man who was forcing you ...."

"No, no, not him. There's another guy I don't need to mention by name. However, for sure we have dated and of course love each other," Autumn said again.

Gabriel scratched his forehead slowly. The green-eyed man also leaned his body against the car door. A short complaint slid from his lips. "That's it, huh? You think I'd just believe it? Don't look for excuses, Elle," said Gabriel hesitantly. "After all, what is the reason you don't like me? Say something that makes me feel more confident if you already have a lover" she said confidently.

While Autumn just laughed at the challenge. "Gosh, I didn't expect you to be so stubborn either. I told you I already had a boyfriend. He's a very handsome and charismatic guy, a little naughty but I like him a lot. All right, I think that's enough. I just got here, very tired, and wanted to take a shower and then break my body. Until we meet again tomorrow, Gabriel," Autumn waved her hand and headed back towards the courtyard. He didn't want to wait until Gabriel left.

Gabriel was stunned for a moment. He saw Autumn who had now disappeared behind the door of his magnificent house. There was no reason for the blond man to remain there. He decided to go home with a great curiosity for the explanation from Autumn. Gabriel felt unsure if the girl had a lover.

Autumn looks so indifferent. It does not appear that he is in a serious relationship with a man.

After dinner, Arumi again invites her eldest daughter to talk. He wanted to confirm what the girl had told him this afternoon. Arumi wants to convince herself that Autumn is not making things up.

"Again I asked, Elle. Are you sure you're in a relationship with Benjamin Royce?" tanyakanya.

"How many times do I have to tell you that it's the truth" Autumn replied calmly.

"Gosh, Elle. Please don't play with fire" said Arumi. "Your father wouldn't like that."

"Yes, I like Gabriel. Unfortunately, I am not interested in him at all. Come, Mom. Benjamin is a good man. He is very gentle and also attentive" Autumn assured Arumi.

"Yes, he behaves like he does towards all women" Arumi argued.

"Where do you know that? Don't tell me if you've ever been close to him" Autumn chanted. He is so irritated that Arumi keeps stressing that Benjamin is not a good man.

"Gelle!" sergeant Arumi. "You are so outrageous! I've never loved anyone but your father!" Arumi. He was almost carried away by emotions. However, soon the woman regained her composure and was able to master herself well. Arumi chose to sit down and take a deep breath. "All right," he said later. "If you think he's a good man, then bring him before me and see how brave he is. You don't have to worry, because I haven't talked about this to your father" Arumi continued.

Autumn immediately sat down near her mother. He looked at the beautiful woman with great care. "Are you sure you want to meet Ben in person?" tanyanya could not believe it.

"Yes, why? I hope you don't feel afraid to bring us together" said Arumi calmly.

Autumn turned her gaze to something else. He seemed to be thinking of something. A moment later, the girl smiled. "alright. I'm going to take her to Mom's face and prove to you that I didn't choose a lover wrong" she said. "After I met her, I made sure that I would rectify all the negative thoughts about Ben" she continued.

"We'll see later. I want you to talk to your father after that, too. Don't let him expect too much of Gabriel," finished saying so, Arumi moved from her seat and passed out of Arumi's room.

Meanwhile, Autumn returned pensive. He did not know whether Benjamin was willing to meet Arumi in person or not. However, as much as possible he should be able to convince the man. Autumn is too tired to play cat-cat with her parents. It's time to be honest.
