This is the last day Autumn is in Indonesia, after she spent about two weeks. There are many things that he got during his time in the mother's hometown, one of which is about maintaining something that has become a confidence. Sad and happy. The girl's feelings were mixed up and became completely unbecoming. For a moment, his memory was fixed on someone he often called uncle Moe.
It's not like Autumn. The atmosphere in the room occupied by Arumi and Edgar was quiet. The forty-eight-year-old woman felt awkward to greet her husband, who had been quiet since yesterday. I don't know what was in Edgar's mind at that time, because one thing is certain is that Arumi did not dare to disturb him. However, the uncomfortable feeling is increasingly revealed, making Arumi go awry.
"All your things are done I'm packing. We're leaving, "Arumi has the courage to open the conversation. But Edgar did not answer immediately. He was engrossed in his cell phone. Arumi just stood up and watched for a few moments to pass.
"Didn't you hear what I said, Ed?" ask the woman to make sure. His heart was pounding, as he waited for Edgar to respond to his words.
"Are you coming back to Paris or still want to be here?" the question that immediately made Arumi was wide in disbelief. It was never expected that Edgar would behave in this way towards her. Without taking his eyes off the phone screen, the gray-eyed man then stood his back to his wife. Edgar just let go of his attention from the phone he had been playing on, when Arumi memeuknya from behind.
"What do you mean, Ed? Please don't act like that to me" Arumi said. She buried her beautiful face on the back of the sturdy man.
"What's it like, Arum?" Edgar asked back.
"You know that I love you" replied Arumi, sobbing softly.
"This is what I'm afraid of, Arum. You love me, but you'll always cry for everything Moedya has to do" said Edgar flatly. He did not respond to the hug given by Arumi.
"No, please don't say that. I love you, Ed. You must know and feel it ...."
"Who can guess what someone's heart is, Arum? Twenty more years we were together and missed many seasons together. Why in that long time, am I still afraid?" Edgar was glued and still did not respond to Arumi's embrace. However, Arumi also seemed not to intend to let go of his arms, although Edgar was impressed to let him just like that.
"We're getting older. Elle is getting married soon. Should we be in a situation like this?" Arumi continued to persuade her husband to stop acting like this.
"No, Ed! No!" reject Arumi. He strongly denied Edgar's words. "Nothing I will take from your words. I didn't cry because I felt so heavy towards Moedya. I cried because I realized how fragile and weak I was at that moment. There is no love for any man. All my love I've given you all, '" Arumi hugged Edgar tighter and tighter. "Let's go home. Bring me back soon, so you don't think anything of the sort anymore. Come on, let's go back to France and stay there" Arumi asked again.
Hearing that, Edgar suddenly collapsed slowly he turned his body. Immediately cupped Arumi's beautiful face that has never changed since long ago. "I'm sorry, Arum. I didn't mean to make you cry or feel guilty. I know that you love me. I just want to get rid of this fear and try to deal with it."
"I don't want to be here much longer. Let's go back to our house and wait for winter. I'll make you some warm chocolate" Arumi continued sobbing.
"Don't I always make you, Arum?" refute Edgar. A smile appeared on his lips that were decorated with a fairly thick beard. Remnants of good looks in youth, still clearly visible in its level that is now getting mature.
Without hesitation, Arumi immediately kissed the man. The friendly side in both of them is never lost because of inedible age. The sweet and warm attitude of an Edgar was again seen. How strong is that guy? In fact, he always felt weak when faced with the gentle attitude of Arumi in treating him. "I can never be angry with you" she said after they finished kissing.
"That's good, because I don't like it when I see you mad at me" Arumi replied with a smile. Just as she was about to kiss her husband again, a knock on the door stopped her intention.
"Are you both ready to go, Mr and Mrs Hillaire?" the voice of Autumn was clearly heard from behind the door of the room. He reminded them that they must leave for the airport immediately. Arumi smiled as she patted Edgar's cheek gently. He stepped near the door, then opened it. Autumn's pretty face looked with a wide smile. "I'm sorry, I just wanted to let you know that myself and Darren are ready to go to the airport" she said. Yes, of course he must be happy, because soon he will be back together with his beloved.
"Oh, thanks for the notice. We're all set. Isn't that right, honey?" Arumi slightly exclaimed as she looked inside, where Edgar was preparing their luggage.
"Good, because I don't want us to miss the plane" Autumn said again as it passed from the mother's presence. While Arumi just smiled while shaking slowly. He then went back into the room. Edgar looked ready with his sunglasses on. "We're going home now?" asked Arumi softly.
Edgar who had just finished tidying his hair, immediately turned his head. "Yes, Arum. We'll be right back home, '" he said. Re-received warm embrace Arumi with a smile full of joy. "Stay near me, baby. Because only you will always make you happy" Edgar ended his words with a warm kiss on Arumi's forehead, cheeks, and lips.
A crisp laugh sounded from the woman's lips. "Why do I feel that I'm back at twenty-three when you've been treated like this" he said amusedly.
