The Gray Autumn's

The Gray Autumn's
Preoccup

The night passed without feeling. Morning came to bring all the anxiety. Fleur opened his eyes slowly. The little girl looked weak. However, he tried to get up and stare around the room with the curtains still closed. "Papa ..." Fleur's raucous voice had managed to wake Benjamin who was still asleep.

The man then opened both of his eyes. A moment later, he sat down while gathering all his energy. He saw Fleur who was also sitting leaning on the head of the bed. The little girl watched her father while smiling sweetly. While the compress tool is still attached to his forehead. Her copper-brown long hair also looked a little disheveled. However, Fleur still looks sweet.

"Are you awake, Fleur? How are you doing now?" Benjamin approached his daughter, then checked her body temperature. He took out a thermometer and confirmed Fleur's condition at the time, tidying up his little daughter's tangled hair. "Thank God, your fever is down" Benjamin looked relieved. The gray-eyed man let out a short breath. Sometimes he puts his hair back.

"Did Papa sleep here with me?" ask Fleur. The face of the boy still looked weak. His gray eyes also looked beautiful.

"Yes. Rest first" Benjamin got out of bed. "Why hasn't Aamber been here yet?" the man muttered in wonder. "Wait a minute, Fleur. I'll call Aamber, "without waiting for an answer from his daughter, Benjamin rushes out. He walked towards the nanny's room from Fleur, which was not far from the little girl's bedroom. The door to the middle-aged woman's room. "Aamber," call Benjamin.

"Yes, Ben. Come in," came Aamber's voice from within.

Benjamin then opened the door of Aamber's unlocked room. Looks like the woman with a slightly fat posture was sitting while kneeling her body. "Are you okay?" benjamin who suddenly felt worried when he saw the middle-aged woman.

"I'm fine" Aamber replied with a small grimace. He looked to be enduring the race of pain in his body.

"What happened to you?" ask Benjamin again. He didn't believe Aamber's answer.

"I just fell in the shower. My legs sprained, and my hips also hurt," the middle-aged woman complained as she grimaced occasionally.

"Gosh, Aamber. Why didn't you tell me?" Benjamin complained softly as he patted his hair. "I'll get a doctor to check on you. After all, Fleur also had to be examined," said the man, looking uneasy.

"What happened to Fleur?" Aamber intended to get out of bed. However, his body felt uncomfortable. He also sat back.

"Fleur's fever was pretty high, but I've been compressing it and giving it a heat-lowering drug. I was just feeling anxious," Benjamin was heard complaining softly. "Today I have some important business, but Fleur is sick and you're not feeling well either" Benjamin's usually calm countenance now appears riled up.

"Just go, Ben. I'll keep Fleur here. You don't have to worry" said Aamber forced himself.

"I want to go to the bathroom, but nothing helps. I couldn't reach that wheelchair, it was too far away" Fleur lamented. The look on his face became even more strange at that moment, making Benjamin immediately approach and sit nearby.

He touched the little girl. However, Fleur suddenly showed an unusual gurgle. Both of his eyes darted upwards with a convulsing body. Panicking Benjamin immediately held his daughter for a moment. "Fleur, what's wrong with you?" Benjamin looked panicked. Without thinking, he immediately carried the child and was taken out of the room. He rushes to the gate and looks for a taxi, with the goal of nothing but a hospital. During the journey, Benjamin continued to clutch at Fleur's tiny body. Restless, he wanted to arrive at the place he was headed to. Incidentally, the health facility was not too far from his residence.

Arriving at the hospital, the medics immediately took Fleur to the action room. They examined and dealt with the little girl painstakingly. While Benjamin was waiting for him outside with a feeling of worry. I don't know how long the man sat alone, holding his palms close to his mouth. This is the second time he has had to panic over Fleur's condition after the incident some time ago in Marseille. Meanwhile, Benjamin did not bring anything there, even to pay the taxi fare he had to borrow from one of the hospital receptionists.

However, not long after a young woman came to him. He was Majorie Doucoure, Benjamin's personal secretary. The exotic-skinned woman looked anxious. "Mr Royce," he said as he sat next to the copper-haired man who still looked anxious. "I've taken care of his administration, you don't have to worry" said the young woman trying to calm down the boss. Benjamin contacted the secretary by borrowing the cell phone of one of the receptionists.

"Thank you, Majorie. I left in a hurry, so I forgot a lot of things" Benjamin took a deep breath and put his hair back together. He also has not contacted Aamber. Benjamin didn't know the woman's cell phone number, because he just called Majorie through the office number.

"That's my duty, sir. Do you need anything else?" bargain the Majorie again while staring fixed at the superior.

"Yes" replied Benjamin softly. However, he did not continue his conversation with Majorie, as the doctor who examined Fleur had walked out of the action room. Benjamin immediately stood up to welcome the doctor's presence. "How's my daughter, Doctor?" ask her with an anxious look.

"After we examined your daughter, it turned out that her blood sugar was low. In addition, he was also dehydrated. This is common in children after a high fever. Dehydration can cause seizures. But we've handled it. Now we let it go so that your daughter's condition is more stable again" explained the doctor.

"So, he can't be brought home yet?" ask Benjamin.

The doctor nodded. "We will continue to monitor its progress first. If your daughter is completely stable, then she will be allowed to go home" the doctor said, before passing in the presence of Benjamin and the Majorie.

After the doctor who treated Fleur, Benjamin sat down again. The man paused for a moment, before returning to speak to the secretary with his beautiful wavy black hair. "Go to my house and tell Aamber that I'm taking Fleur to the hospital. After that, ask the waiter over there to get me my phone in Fleur's room. Come back here and bring me a change of clothes, too" Benjamin ordered the honey-brown-eyed young lady.

With a smile, Majorie nodded in agreement. "Good, Sir. Then, excuse me, "without much to say, he immediately passed from the sight of Benjamin. The time has shown eleven thirty. Doubt began to cloud the gray-eyed man's feelings. It seemed, he had to cancel the meeting plan with Autumn and Arumi.
