The Gray Autumn's

The Gray Autumn's
Un Permis

Autumn arrived at his residence with a radiant face. Tired after a day of activity in the office, instantly vanished because he now has a reason without having to lie to his parents. After entering, Autumn immediately headed for the kitchen. He then took a glass of water and sipped it even though it did not run out. The girl then took her favorite fruit yoghurt.

The kitchen was so spacious and luxurious with shades of gray that dominated it. As always, Autumn stands half-leaned on a marble-coated cabinet table that looks very shiny. He then ate the fruit yogurt quietly, until Arumi entered and approached him. "When are you coming home, Elle?" greet the woman while opening the fridge. Arumi took out some ingredients to prepare dinner.

"I just came, Mom," replied Autumn. He watched Arumi with his busyness at that time. While Autumn himself is still fun to spend the rest of his yogurt. "Mom," call Autumn slowly. Arumi replied even without looking at her eldest daughter. He was busy with the ingredients on the table.

"Did you remember Joelene?" asked Autumn then made Arumi stop her work for a moment.

"Yes. How are you doing with him? Weren't you guys friends?" Arumi responded while continuing her work.

"I met him earlier. Joelene is married, but I'm not attending her wedding" Autumn said. He had finished his yogurt and dumped the empty container into the trash. The girl then stood near Arumi.

"Joelene is going to have her wedding reception, and she wants me to attend" Autumn said.

"Do you need a new party dress, honey?" ask Arumi.

"Not really. I just need permission from Mom and Dad to go to Marseille, because Joelene is going to have her party there. I wish you could help me persuade Dad."

"Marseille? Why should it be there?" ask Arumi.

"Gosh, Mom. Are there no other questions that are much more important?" autumn Protest. While Arumi responded with a soft laugh. He stopped his activities and looked.

"Why don't you ask your father for his permission? I think he'll let you go, with a note you can convince him first" Arumi said. It comes back to its busyness.

"That's what makes me feel lazy, ma'am. I know for myself what Mr. Hillaire is. It's hard to convince him" lamented Autumn.

"Your father only means well, dear," defended Arumi softly. "However, as long as you show that you can break his fear, I think he will definitely give you freedom. Ah, actually your father never gives too much restraint" Arumi argued.

"Then, what does it mean to put a tracking device on my phone? You think I don't feel uncomfortable about it?" lamented Autumn again.

"Your father did the same to me, a long time ago. At first I protested and disapproved of it, but in the end I realized it was what saved me. From there I thought, Ed must know what's best. It makes me feel safe and comfortable. Someday you will realize that, Elle," said Arumi. For a moment he glanced at his eldest daughter. A moment later, Arumi returned to the cuisine he was making.

Standing at the door of his father's study, Autumn did not knock. He was stunned for a moment. The vegetables were heard when Edgar was talking to someone. From his voice, Autumn was convinced that the person talking to his father was Benjamin Royce. Suddenly, the girl became nervous. Finally, he decided to turn around and leave from there. However, before Autumn had time to do so, the door of the workspace had first opened. Two men appeared from inside.

"Elle," said Edgar who found Autumn there. The girl looked misbehaved as she glanced at Benjamin who was watching her with a slightly mischievous look in her eyes.

"Good night, Miss Hillaire," Benjamin greeted with a charming smile.

"Good night, Mr. Royce," Autumn replied with a sweet smile. Beautiful sparkles were clearly visible on the girl's pair of gray eyes. In his heart, it felt like Autumn wanted to throw into the arms of the beautiful man in front of him, while kissing the man's affection. However, for the time being he could only bite his lips in order to hold back that feeling.

"Dad, I wanted to talk for a while" said Autumn, turning her eyes to Edgar, who was watching.

"About what? What if we just continue at the dinner table?" cetus Edgar's. "Mr Royce, have dinner here. My wife had prepared a special menu," the gray-eyed man asked, glancing at Benjamin who was standing next to him.

"No, Mr. Hillaire. Don't bother," reject Benjamin as gentle and courteous.

"Of course not. It just so happens that it's dinner time. Come, join us" Edgar again invited Benjamin to accompany him to the dining room.

Benjamin smiled knot. Before replying, he took the time to glance at Autumn. The girl raised her right eyebrow in a gesture for Benjamin to accept an offer from Edgar. Finally, the copper-haired brunette man nodded in agreement. "Alright, Mr. Hillaire. Thank you in advance," Benjamin replied politely. He stepped in parallel with Edgar, while Autumn followed him from behind with a smile that continued to grow.

Benjamin still looks so manly and masculine, even when viewed from behind. The charm of that man is amazing.

Not long ago, they had arrived at the dining room with a large and carved table typical of Europe. Benjamin sat down near Darren. Autumn sat in the chair facing her.

"May you like the menu I prepared, Mr. Royce. If you know you're going to be here tonight, maybe I'll prepare another menu" Arumi said kindly.

"This has been far more than enough, Mrs Hillaire," Benjamin responded to Arumi's remarks. He then turned his gaze to Autumn who had not turned away from him. Benjamin hinted that the girl would not overreact.

"What do you want to say, Elle?" edgar asked and made Autumn look at him.

"I? Oh, yes," Autumn stuttered. "I want to ask permission to go to Marseille."
