The Gray Autumn's

The Gray Autumn's
Les Larmes de Fleur's

"Come, Elle. Please, we talked about this. Don't you want to learn to be much more mature and patient? This is a good time for you" Benjamin persuaded, holding Autumn's arms. He was like a father with two girls at odds. Benjamin had to calm the two fairly, without seeming favoritism or siding with one. This will be a new job for the man. "Oh, my gosh," he said slowly as he removed his grip from Autumn's arm. He scooped his face rough and looked riled up. "Look, Elle. Our preparations are almost done. Do you want to just give up?" persuade again.

While Autum still looks upset. He then placed a forehead on the shoulder of the father of one child, who immediately replied to a soft touch in his long hair. While Fleur was just speechless paying attention to Benjamin's attitude towards Autumn. Tears began to drip on the child's cheeks. Fleur's age was only ten years old. However, she was a clever girl and was also already able to understand the situation. That's what he's always been afraid of. The father will prefer the woman he loves and leave her alone, as he feels now. The little girl was dazed. Her tears fell on the back of the hand she placed on her lap. "Mother ..." sighed Fleur while sobbing softly.

Hearing that, Autumn immediately distanced herself from Benjamin. He stared at the man he loved so much for a moment, before turning his eyes to Fleur. Without a word, Benjamin could understand the meaning of Autumn's attitude. The man immediately approached Fleur and lowered his body in front of the little girl. Benjamin clutched tightly onto the tiny body of his sobbing daughter. He also kissed Fleur's forehead gently. "I'm sorry, honey," said the gray-eyed man half-whisperingly. However, Fleur did not respond to Benjamin's apology. The little girl still remained down while sobbing.

Even the feeling of Autumn becomes uncertain. He walked back slowly, then turned around. Unbeknownst to Benjamin, the beautiful gray-eyed girl had left the ballroom. Benjamin realizes Autumn's departure after she calms down his daughter. It was a pity, however, that the girl was no longer seen there.

A sigh of heaviness and deepness, slid forth from the lips of the thirty-five year old man. Benjamin then stood up and stepped onto the back of Fleur's wheelchair. He pushed her out of the magnificent room that had already begun to be beautifully decorated and luxurious. The man realized that he had to solve the problem one by one. He can't hold everything with just one hand.

Flat and expressionless, Benjamin moves Fleur into the car. The little girl was in her seat, and then she put her seatbelt on. Fleur always refused to sit in the back seat, if he was driving with his father. He preferred to sit in front, next to the man who had always been his idol. However, the man now looked grim and also sad.

He looked at the handsome face of the father with adhesiveness. Of course he understood the unrest that was sweeping through Benjamin's heart. However, as a child, Fleur was confused to express and string the words he would say to the man. In the end, the little girl preferred to be silent. Silence will be much better, than when he talks a lot.

"Do you want to eat something, Fleur?" bargain Benjamin after a while they fell silent to each other.

Fleur did not answer. The little girl just stared at the father with sadness. Especially because Benjamin turned his eyes straight ahead. A quiet atmosphere emerged and continued to accompany the trip, until Benjamin stopped the speed of his car. "Let's find the wind. I need some fresh air" he asked as he removed his seatbelt. After that, he came out and opened the door for Fleur after previously preparing the wheelchair first. He sat the little copper-haired girl there, and began to push the wheelchair along the banks of the Seine River. It was always the place that was a favorite for Benjamin to dispel the sense of whack.

"Let me tell you something" said Benjamin rather quietly. "A few years ago, when I was thousands of kilometers from France. She was the most beautiful girl among all the beautiful girls I had ever seen. We fell in love with each other, and promised to stay bound forever. Do you know who that pretty girl is?" Benjamin was silent for a moment while looking at Fleur who was still silent. "She's Samantha Morris, your mother. I loved him so much, even when I left England and went back to France. That love is still in my heart. It remained for many years, not knowing the season. He remained the best, "shrewdly and so in Benjamin's tone back then towards Fleur who was listening to his story.

"Your mother is a cheerful girl. He was always smiling, just like you used to be. You always sing cheerfully whenever I visit you in Marseille. All my tiredness and loneliness disappeared when I met you. If I fall back on Elle now, then that doesn't mean I betrayed your mother or will ignore you as my daughter. Please don't think like that. Samantha, Fleurine, and Autumn. The three of you have a special place in my life, and certainly will not be replaced by anyone" Benjamin explained.

"Who's Autumn?" ask Fleur. Finally the little girl let out her voice after being silent.

"Autumn Dorielle Hillaire's. She's the woman I love right now, or better known as Elle. Doesn't he have a unique name? The same name, like a season that spoils our eyes with beautiful colored foliage," the gray-eyed man explained. He then clasped his daughter's fingers tightly. "I know that Elle does have a tough attitude. However, once you get to know her well, you will never regret being reunited with a girl like her. Just like me, Fleur," Benjamin took a deep breath, then flung it down slowly.

"I'm scared, Papa," Fleur said later.

"What are you afraid of?" ask Benjamin. "I explained it to you. You are my daughter, a gift created by the promise between me and Samantha. You will forever bind me to that girl, even though she is now gone. So, what else are you afraid of?" benjamin's attitude and speech still remained soft at the time.

"If you marry, your wife will conceive and give birth. She will have a baby with complete parents. While I don't have a mother. Is your wife going to treat me the same way she did with her biological son, Papa?" tears again trickled down the corner of Fleur's lips, which Benjamin immediately embraced tightly.
