"Geez, Elle!" exclaim Arumi slowly. "Your medicine's been on the dresser from last night. Have you not drunk it?" Arumi stared fixedly at her daughter who looked confused. Before Autumn could answer, the middle-aged woman again said, "Go back to the room and take your allergy medicine immediately. You can rest later on the plane" Arumi told her with a gesture typical of a mother who wants to save her child from the anger of the father. Without saying much, Autumn immediately passed from there. His mind just feels more and more fucked up.
While Arumi approached Edgar and touched the husband's arm with affection. He then gently stroked the face with a thin beard that was always well maintained and neat. Arumi kissed Edgar's cheek. "Don't think no. Elle complained last night. You know not if he's allergic to peanuts. I forgot to give the peanut mixture to the food. Elle was still childish at times. Though he already knows the risks, but he still forced himself," said Arumi softly. The woman is becoming wiser in her attitude.
"You think I'm stupid, honey?" Edgar took a slow breath. "I know and can distinguish the signs of allergies with signs! What has the girl done?" his weakness.
"Elle doesn't know anyone in this town. Did you see him leave the house last night? This morning he was in his room, "Arumi still defended his beloved daughter.
Edgar glanced at his wife and took a deep breath. He then shook his head slowly with a regretful hue. "Was Elle in her room last night?" edgar's investigation is suspicious.
"Elle went to bed early, honey," Arumi reassured Edgar. "Come on, why are you being so exaggerated? Elle is a grown up. I hope you don't make him feel uncomfortable with your attitude" Arumi said, trying to remind Edgar.
"I was just trying to protect her" Edgar argued. It justifies the overprotective attitude that Arumi values too much.
"Protect from whom?" Arumi stared fixedly at the husband who still looks handsome despite being half a century old.
"From men like me. Satisfied?" edgar's reply instantly made Arumi laugh amusedly. He did not expect that Edgar would give such an answer. Near him the gray-eyed man. Arumi then tidied up the collar of the white shirt that Edgar was wearing. After which, he touched the man's face and cupped it gently.
"I won't deny that I used to be a bad guy. You know that clearly, Arum. I'm just afraid that Elle's getting along with a guy who's not right for her. Think of it .. a man like me," explains Edgar.
"You're a good man, honey," Arumi argued.
"Yes. I became a good man after you fell back in love with me. However, it took a very long time to convince you that I had become a good man," Edgar denied making Arumi feel bad. Immediately the woman kissed the husband's lips.
"Now you are the best, and I love you so much" he said slowly. "Repeach our stuff. While I was going to see Elle's condition first," Arumi again kissed Edgar's lips before finally passing to Autumn's room which was pensive by the wide-open window.
Autumn looked at the mother who looked so curious. A moment later, he turned his eyes out. "Nothing" Autumn replied quietly and indifferently.
"You don't want to share it with your own mother?" persuade Arumi smooth.
"There's nothing I need to share with you, ma'am," argued Autumn. He seemed to have no taste to discuss the problem that made Arumi so curious.
"I've been at your age, baby. You think I don't know anything?"
"Come, Mom. Please don't force me!" reject Autumn. He moved near the bed, where there was a suitcase that he had not yet dropped off. Autumn closed and dropped the suitcase from there. "What time are we at the airport?" asked the girl to shift the subject.
"We're leaving in an hour" replied Arumi as she approached her daughter who was preoccupying herself with something insignificant. It is obvious that Autumn is trying to avoid it. However, Arumi is a mother. His instincts said that Autumn was not feeling well. "If you need a friend to talk to, don't hesitate to come and tell me. I am your mother after all. I should have been a good friend to her daughter" Arumi gently touched Autumn's shoulder. Autumn touched her heart with her mother's gentle attitude. The girl looked up and smiled.
"I used to be like you, too, Elle. I am a girl who does crazy things. Know it? I used to come to my ex-girlfriend's party drunk and make a scene there. It was embarrassing, and I regret it. But after that incident, I was relieved. I told someone about everything I felt and it made all the wedge in my heart slightly less," Arumi softly said.
"If you really feel able to carry it yourself, then it's okay. It will make you a strong and characterful woman. But if you can't, then don't force yourself. Yeah, already. Be prepared. I'll see your father first, "before it passes, Arumi took the time to kiss Autumn's forehead gently. After that, he got out of there and left Autumn alone.
Autumn did not leave her room until an hour passed and a call was heard that they had to leave for the airport. Limping, the girl dragged her suitcase out of the room to the car parked in the yard. Autumn got into the car and sat down next to Darren who was not talking much until they arrived at the airport.
Arriving there, Autumn still did not say much. He prefers to sit while continuing to play the phone. Until then, Leon did not contact her. Autumn then decided to go to the toilet.
After a while, Autumn returned from the toilet. However, his steps suddenly stopped when he saw his father talking warmly with someone. The man was there. Yes, Benjamin Royce. Autumn stared at him. Benjamin looks so handsome. The man was like a poisonous flower. Beautiful but deadly. Left with no choice, Autumn approached them and sat down without caring.
