“Well, so what's your role in this case, Mr Kim? Why can't you explain where the billions of won that evaporated somewhere went, when you should be the one responsible for this?”
“For God's sake! How many times do I have to say it? I don't know.”
“You're the one who was involved in the Japanese branch project, but you don't know? Where did the new money flow into your account from? Isn't that many times your salary for a month? You better tell me the truth, Mr. Kim. Your other colleagues have confessed their mistakes, and you can't avoid them anymore. Very big as a result if carrying the name of God while you are lying.”
Kim Jongmin sat up tensely, and he began to break out in cold sweat. But as if an accomplished actor in the role, he made himself as calm as possible. “How many times do I have to say? I don't know anything about that. You don't accuse me recklessly! I could've sued you for defamation.”
Prosecutor Park smiled mockingly, “Master Kim Jongmin, the financial manager of Namsoong Group company, and was involved in several embezzlement scandals of funds but always managed to escape the law.” The young prosecutor opened the sheets of paper in his hand, then looked at the man in his fifties who was sitting in front of him, “Have you bribed some law enforcement officers to cover up your crimes all this time? I still have some blacklists about you, if you want I'll mention it. All this is only part of the results of the investigation conducted by my team.”
“You just found a case with the wrong person, Mr. Prosecutor. I am an honorable man. I can't possibly do such a lowly thing. After all Namsoong Group is a company that my own parents started, I can't possibly do anything that could harm that company.” Kim Jongmin laughed, trying to cover up his current fears. All of his black sheets had been revealed, how else would he try to cover them? Continually lying, it seems like the law cannot be underestimated. Moreover, dealing with the Prosecutor before him, making his scheming brain must continue to spin looking for more classy lies to cover up his crimes.
“You still don't want to confess either? Alright.” Prosecutor Park picked up the phone on his desk, pressed a few number buttons. Kim Jongmin wondered in his heart who he was talking to. Prosecutor Park then spoke to the person across the street after the call was connected. “Please bring that witness to my room.”
Minutes later the door of the investigation room opened, a female prosecutor entered with another woman beside her. Kim Jongmin turned to the door, and at that moment his heart stopped beating.
“Please sit down, miss Hwang.”

The man could not hide his happiness. A roar of excitement emanated very clearly from that already no longer young face. He was happy to be able to breathe free air again, feeling the outside world he so missed.
“Come, Appa.” Siwon opened the car door, allowing his father to get into the passenger seat.
“Can we go directly to the hospital? I want to meet your Eomma.”
“Ya, sure.”
Everyone involved in the embezzlement case has been caught, and is ready to be tried. Although the legal process was a bit convoluted because of the brain of the case, Kim Jongmin managed to escape to Europe, South Korea's legal apparatus even took a few days to bring him back to Seoul. But Siwon is now grateful, his father has been released because he was not proven guilty, and his good name will be cleared again. One by one happiness began to return to their midst.
“You're a great lawyer, son. I'm grateful I didn't think of hiring a lawyer more expensive than you.” Choi Minhwa laughed at her own joke. Siwon laughed next to him.
“I'm just trying to do my best, but actually it's all thanks to Miss Hwang.”
Choi Minhwa was silent for a moment, “Ah, yes. Youre right. But I still can't believe he ever made a fake confession before.”
Siwon nodded. “But most importantly he had already admitted the truth, and retracted his fake testimony back then. I heard she did it because it cost her to take care of her sister, and Mr. Kim gave her the offer. I believe he did that because he was forced to.”
“That's great Kim Jongmin. Then what about Miss Hwang now?”
Siwon looks to think for a moment, “He will still be detained in the prosecutor's office, for the sake of further investigation process for this case.”
“Detained? You mean, he's going to jail, right?”
“Of course, appa. He has given false testimony, and it is against the law.”
Choi Minhwa's face looked uneasy. Hwang Miyoung was once a confidant, however, and he knew the girl was a good person.
“Ah, Siwon, can you take Appa to his place before visiting your Eomma?”
“Ngg.. Alright.”
