Hyunjin tiptoed exactly like a thief, occasionally turning to the left and right to make sure it was safe. This time he really had to go out, it had been three days that he felt like he was inside a prison. His cell phone and all means of communication were confiscated, he could not contact Kyuhyun at all. Out of the house only if going to college, it was also picked up by his father's driver.
Today the house was deserted, his father and mother went to attend a family event. He was only at home with Minho, but his dongsaeng was hibernating in the room, so he could not go out and catch Hyunjin who was trying to escape. Hyunjin had also managed to secure his phone back, forced to infiltrate his father's room to retrieve his phone. Repeatedly he murmured an apology to his father –although his father could not have heard. He promised himself to go home before his parents, so everything would be fine. Let's just say what he did today never happened.
“ah, thank goodness it's safe.” The girl breathed a sigh of relief, she immediately went out of the house and looked for a taxi, went to Kyuhyun's apartment.
___
Kyuhyun looked at his phone irritatedly. He had tried repeatedly to contact Hyunjin, but never once was picked up. Is Hyunjin angry with her? but he was sure he had nothing wrong with the girl.
“argh!” Kyuhyun groaned in frustration, throwing his phone on the bed. He put his face in the pillow. He'd go crazy if he kept going like this. Really, three days alone no news from Hyunjin could make him restless half to death. Maybe the girl was busy with her college, but isn't it Sunday? At the very least, calling him just once was enough to treat his longing. He wanted to come to Hyunjin's house, but felt a little hesitant. So Kyuhyun decided, if today Hyunjin doesn't come to see him tomorrow he will go to the girl's house.
The bell on her apartment door rang, Kyuhyun immediately jumped up. He hoped that the one who came was Hyunjin. Hopefully, hopefully.
The door opened, and Kyuhyun really could not hide his happiness at this moment. But it's not Cho Kyuhyun his name if it's not keeping prestige. He desperately held back his smile and longing, he just stared at the girl in silence. They were silent for quite a while, until Hyunjin let out her voice, “you didn't tell me to come in?”
Without saying much Kyuhyun immediately pulled Hyunjin's hand and told her to sit on the sofa. “where have you been these three days? are you tired of me?” kyuhyun asked while shaking his waist. His eyes showed that he was really upset.
“appa forbade me from meeting you. He confiscated my phone. I'm not allowed to leave the house other than go to college. Know it? I'm tormented.” said Hyunjin while grabbing a snack jar at the table.
“what's why?” Kyuhyun sat down next to Hyunjin, looking at the girl curiously. But Hyunjin was a little hesitant to say it, “he said.”
“Ye?” Kyuhyun looked at him curiously.
“he said, your father is his enemy. So he didn't let me relate to you. Haha.. silly right?”
“you're serious?”
Hyunjin nodded. But a second later he immediately laughed softly, “already, no need to care. I'm not even sure they know each other. Maybe my app was just having a problem, so he took it out on me.”
“But you're okay ‘kan?” Kyuhyun asked worriedly.
“nde, I'm fine. Kyu.. I. miss you.” Said Hyunjin shyly. He was sure Kyuhyun would laugh with satisfaction at his confession. But apparently not, his reaction was far from what Hyunjin had expected.
“aku also.” Kyuhyun smiled gently, trying hard he resisted the urge to hug the girl.
“so, you're not allowed to see me again?” asked Kyuhyun once more, Hyunjin nodded weakly. He never expected his relationship with Kyuhyun there was still a barrier. This is her life, why is it such a drama story? But at least he was grateful, his story with Kyuhyun is not a forbidden love because they are brothers, or because it is hindered by social status, like most dramas he watched.
“ya please, later I will speak carefully with your father.” Kyuhyun calmed Hyunjin down, making the girl able to smile in relief.
“tau where?”
“anywhere, come on.” the girl sulks, pulling Kyuhyun's hand while looking at him expectantly. Kyuhyun couldn't stand being looked at like that.
“good.”
____
“Yes! aren't you tired? We've tried almost all the rides and surround the place here, I'm not even able to walk anymore.” Kyuhyun sat his body in the available chair. He was really tired, all day around Lotte World and Hyunjin still invited him to walk again.
“You are not engrossed.” Hyunjin sneered.
“already, we'll just sit here.” Kyuhyun did not care about the girl's whining, he was still busy breathing a lot of air into his lungs.
“aish. you're this.” Hyunjin scowled, but in the end she sat down next to Kyuhyun.
Hyunjin's phone rang, as soon as she picked it up from inside the bag. But the girl just silently stared at the screen of her phone, without the slightest intention to receive the call.
“why not in lift?” Kyuhyun asked curiously.
Hyunjin whispered softly, “from my father.”
“what's why?”Kyuhyun scrunched his forehead confused, but the girl instead shook her head with a worried face. “I could die if she knew I was with you now.”
“here, let me talk to him.” Kyuhyun was about to take over the phone from Hyunjin's hand, but the girl swiftly switched off her phone and put it back in the bag.
“no, he better not know I'm with you. It will be safer.” Hyunjin smiled, hinting at Kyuhyun that this was the best. Kyuhyun simply nodded, appreciating Hyunjin's decision.
Just for a moment they sat back in silence, Kyuhyun suddenly grabbed Hyunjin's hand and dragged her away. Hyunjin flinched a little, trying to take her hand off Kyuhyun while yelling at the namja. He did not understand why Kyuhyun suddenly dragged him around like that.
“Yes! release, Kyu!”
“sstt.. shut up. Let's get out of here!” Kyuhyun whispered softly, his gaze looking anxious. Hyunjin finally complied and followed where Kyuhyun was going to take him.
