Ch.32

I managed to escape Chris. Dara and I are in the break room right now. I asked about this Hospital to him because he has worked for approximately 3 years here.

Doctor Clarisa, he's the senior surgeon here. She was the woman who pushed Kirana down yesterday. Dara said he was a dangerous man.

Not only did we talk about it, we talked about a lot of things. About each other. But I can't trust anyone new. I cannot say that I am a widow.

I fear. I'm afraid they left me after knowing the truth.

"It turns out you're a pretty silly girl huh, Luna." said Dara after I told her about my school days.

In the room that was just the two of us, we laughed. I thought Dara was a stiff guy, apparently not.

I closed my eyes in shock. I also prepared myself to be scolded. The loud buzz was enough to indicate that the person who opened it was angry. Maybe I made a mistake on my first day at work.

"Luna! so you know Doctor Chris?"

If it's like this I'd better scold my senior.

I opened my eyes and found Kirana standing at the door full of emotion. I've known him for a long time, even though we've been separated for a few years.

As long as I knew him, I never saw him like that. Kirana's a good girl, when she's angry she'll cry, not scream like this. He even kicked through the door of this room, no matter if there was anyone else or not in here.

"She liked Luna's stir-fried meat, so Auntie Jum introduced Luna to her.." Dara spoke up for me.

That look again. I can't guess what Dara's gaze meant to Kirana. This was already the second time he had looked at Kirana like that.

"What Dara said is true." I said.

Like turning the pages of a book. Soon he changed his facial expression and tone of speech. He smiled brightly as if nothing had happened. He also did not apologize for breaking the door.

"Thank God then." he said and turned away.

"Austenance!" call Dara flat but make the feather stand up.

"Don't you feel guilty? if you don't want to apologize for accusing her, at least apologize for being disrespectful by breaking the door!" Dara.

"Should I? is that necessary?"

"Come on, aren't we friends?"

"Here you go, I'll get back to work.."

Kirana just left without apologizing. Dara seemed to start to grow furious with the answer Kirana gave.

I was astonished myself too. Since when did he become like that? I know she's not that kind of girl. What made him change? What happened as long as we didn't get in touch with some of these last knows.

"You should be careful with him,"

I just kept quiet and looked at Dara with a confused look. Like a man who can read my mind, he got up from his seat and rubbed my head slowly.

"Don't think much. I just want to say it, you don't have to worry,"

"I know you're a good girl, I just don't want you to get hurt because of your kindness.."

That last sentence, I don't understand what it means. I nodded and smiled as if I understood what he was saying.
