Love of the Monster

Love of the Monster
The Beast Inside Him (2)

Raphael's last words seemed to reach Torak, because after that, he lowered his head and stared at Raine's facial expression.

The girl's eyebrows frowned and she bit her trembling lips while her black eyes stared back at her, the beautiful look of those eyes hinting in fear.

Torak closed his eyes, trying to control the monster within him and win this inner battle.

The jaws are slightly hardened, Torak enjoys it when other creatures fear him, this gives him a strong sense of dominance and every Lycanthropes and werewolf likes it when they are in control.

However, when Torak sees Raine looking at him with fear, Torak feels an unreasonable urge to kill any creature that scares this little girl.

Unfortunately, it was herself who frightened Raine.

Torak doesn't believe this. Hundreds of years ago he had said that he would break his soul mate in two in the first second he found it.

Now, however, in the first second Torak sensed his presence, he actually felt a strong desire to protect her.

What an amazing soul bond!

Torak opened his eyes which were now back in blue.

Meanwhile, Raine widened his eyes in surprise, his lips slightly opened. He was very sure that a few seconds ago the eyes of this man were black and not blue. But now, the eyes that were now fixedly staring at him had turned a beautiful blue color, which could hypnotize him in a matter of seconds.

Raine looked into his eyes for a while before finally realizing that the man's hold on his body had loosened. Raine thought of using this opportunity to escape.

However, he was not fast enough to push her away.

In the end, Raine fell in his arms again. "Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you." The man said in a pleading tone.

Her soft voice was so soothing in Raine's ears and for a moment, Raine trusted him. There was a strange sense of flutter, as if there were dozens of butterflies flapping their wings on its stomach.

Raine stopped struggling as he felt the man's hand hold him firmly and firmly.

However, his fear still remained. Raine's body was trembling.

On the other hand, Raphael stepped closer to them, opening his other umbrella then covering Torak and Raine .

"Yes, mine." Torak replied with a sigh of relief and a sense of pride.

Torak pulled over Raine's wet hair to be able to see her face more clearly. This girl in her arms had a pair of beautiful eyes the color of obsidian stone, trying to avoid the gaze of Torak.

Raine bites his lower lip nervously which makes Torak pull his chin for Raine to stop doing that.

The color of her skin was so pale as if the sunlight had never touched this girl at all.

His body was so small, but it felt so fitting in his arms. It would not be an exaggeration if Torak said he was able to break Raine's body in just seconds, but even if it was just an assumption to hurt him, the thought itself had frightened Torak.

"Raine, what are you doing there? Where's medicine?"

A familiar voice made Raine return to his consciousness. He turned his body around and saw Madame Anne, the head nurse at the orphanage, who had been standing behind the iron bars of the gate.

His fat finger tried to open the gate while his other hand held a yellow umbrella.

At this moment, the rain was getting heavier and none of the four of them were in good shape in the cold wind.

"What did you guys do to him?" Madam Anne glared at them with a fierce gaze, especially at Torak who was still holding Raine in her arms. "Let him go!" he demands.

Raine once thrashed, trying to free himself, but Torak refused to let him go.

"Torak, you have to let it go." Raphael whispered and he swore that the color of the Torak's eyes, for a moment, turned red before returning to its original color. Shock, Raphael hurriedly added. "He's soaking wet and cold, he'll get sick if he stays here any longer."

Raphael tugged at his tie nervously, eyes that were red for a Lycan, not a good sign. That meant, the monster within them was wrathful due to the advice he gave to let the girl go.

Torak lowered his head to look at Raine and only realized that the girl was not in good shape. "I'll take him with us" Torak said firmly.

"No, we can't do it like that." Raphael shook his head. "This is not your territory of Torak, you cannot make your own decisions. Maybe he still has family here…"

"What family?! He lives in an orphanage!" Torak. "And yes! I can do whatever I want, no matter whose territory this is! They can protest after I take her with me!"
