The Angel's

The woman opened her arms wide as if indicating to welcome Raine as she walked across the room with a big smile on her face, approaching Raine and Calleb.

"Belinda." Calleb placed both hands in front of the woman named Belinda with both hands facing forward to prevent Belinda from stepping closer. "You can't approach him like that."

Belinda frowned as her eyes looked at Calleb and Raine back and forth. "I won't hurt him" he said in an unhappy voice.

"I'm sure you won't hurt him. But, have you met Alpha Torak?" Calleb asked while hiding Raine behind his wide back.

"No, I haven't met him." Belinda sniffed her shoulders, she finally stopped two steps away from the two of them. "I came here directly when I sensed him." Belinda smiled very broadly at Raine, but the girl continued to avoid her gaze.

Calleb turned his ship around wondering. "What do you mean you 'feel' him?"

"Well, you won't understand." Belinda did not heed Calleb's question and extended her hand to Raine.

However, Calleb held Belinda's hand before she could touch the frightened girl behind him. "Belinda, you can't approach her that way" Calleb said in a low voice.

Since Belinda was not Lyca, Calleb could not communicate with her through mind-links and the middle-aged woman seemed to ignore the warning signals Calleb gave her.

"Why can't I?" Belinda asked in an unhappy tone. "Come here, son…"

Once again, Belinda tries to reach Raine, but the girl moves away and hides behind Calleb's body.

"Belinda, I suggest that you meet Torak first."

"Why should I meet him?" Belinda crossed her arms in front of her chest and something happened.

"Oh, shit!" Calleb is concerned about what will happen. "Belinda, no…"

However, before Calleb could finish his sentence, his body had floated several meters away from Raine before finally falling to the floor with a loud bang.

Calleb groaned before he attempted to stand back up. "Belinda! You scared him!" He growled, but something heavy as if pressing down on his body and making him stay on the floor with a shrunken face.

"Omong empty," Belinda hissed at Calleb, who was still trying hard to get up. "Kemari.." Belinda then extended her hand to Raine.

But, Raine is too scared to be around Belinda, especially after what she did to Calleb. Raine crouched down and tried to avoid his hand.

Seeing Raine's reaction like this, Belinda hesitated. "What happened to her?" he asked Calleb whose face had turned red.

"Belinda... Can you free me first? It's very uncomfortable." Calleb groaned back.

Seeing the attention of the woman before him distracted, Raine crawled past Belinda towards Calleb, who was now kneeling in a strange position.

Moments later, Belinda flicked her hand, Calleb then sat down with a roaring breath while Raine stared at him with worried eyes.

"I'm fine." He convinced Raine. "Belinda, don't ever do that again!" the Lycan snapped at the middle-aged woman with an annoyed tone of voice.

However, Belinda did not ignore him as she muttered to herself. "It's been a long time since I last saw the guardian angel."
