And suddenly, the monster in him falls silent as he rests his head on her lap.

The rain grew heavier as Raine stretched out his hand to push the already very old turnstile of the orphanage where he had been living for the past year.
Raine has no other family member to take care of him and no one he knows is willing to take responsibility for him after Raine is discharged from a mental institution, so this State ordinance stipulates that Raine must live in a foster home until she reaches the age of eighteen and can live legally independent.
When Raine was about to open the gate, someone blocked his shoulder and made him spin quickly.
Within two seconds, Raine raised his head and looked at the man who had forced him to look at her and the first thought that flashed inside Raine's head was; this man was extremely beautiful.
Had it not been for the rain and Raine's body that started to shiver due to the cold night air, he would have blushed with this thought of his own.
Not to exaggerate the description of this man, but his own figure can really make a bodybuilder embarrassed, his dazzling eyes make Raine as hypnotized, a color as deep as obsidian.
The height and size of this man's body, was much larger than Raine's. Her hair was slightly curly, wet with raindrops.
Raine's lips opened, like someone about to scream, but no sound came out of his mouth. Raine dropped his gaze from looking at the man and tried to free his body from the grip on his shoulders.
Suddenly, the mysterious man pulls Raine into his arms. His large hand clasped Rained's waist and his other hand was on his shoulder, hugging tightly, but soft enough not to hurt Raine.
"Mine." The man whispered into Raine's ear which sent an indigestible feeling into the girl's heart.
It was still raining heavily when Raine finally became aware of his circumstances and tried to free himself from the arms of this mysterious man.
Raine tries to push her body and hits her side. However, that effort did not seem to be enough, even just to make the man frown.
Raine's unique scent calms him down and with his soul mate in his arms, Torak can feel a sense of calm he could never feel during his long life.
The spark that appeared due to the touch from his soul mate made the monster inside him so enthusiastic and expecting more.
Torak felt he had been reborn. The centuries that had passed without this soul mate, looked very hollow now. Torak began to feel curious; how could he possibly live a single day without him?
Is this a soul bond? Torak never felt this helpless, but also felt extremely strong at the same time.
Torak was even afraid of what he was feeling right now.
Torak was afraid of what this young girl, whose height was only on her shoulders, could do to him.
Torak cursed the Moon Goddess for cursing him, but also felt very grateful because in the end he had found his soul mate.
This feeling is so inexplicable…
Torak felt that someone was walking towards him, immediately his body became tense as he let out a low growl. A warning.
About a hundred meters away, Raphael was standing with an umbrella in his right hand. "Torak, it's me.." he stopped walking when he heard the graman and defensive posture of Torak. "You have to let him go."
Instead of releasing Raine, Torak actually tightened his hold on the girl's waist which made Raine grimace due to illness.
Torak did not intend to hurt Raine, even in his current state, he was unable to control his energy.
For a moment, Torak lost control, it seemed like he did not recognize his Beta.
"Torak, if you keep going like that, you'll hurt him." Raphael took one step closer. "You're gonna hurt the girl in your arms."
