Raine peeked at Torak from behind his basketball cap, wondering why Torak suddenly stopped walking.

They were now standing in front of the door, Torak's hands halted in midair, as if he was about to turn the doorknob while his other hand was hugging Raine's waist protectively.

With the height difference between them, Raine could easily glance towards Torak's resolute jaw and see how beautiful this man beside him was.

His sea-blue eye color was a little dull while he continued to stare at the door knob with a blank look.

Raine very rarely met new people when he was in a mental hospital. But, even when Raine met people in the orphanage, Raine was afraid to see the look in their eyes that mocked, they thought that he was crazy and always scorned Raine because of it, because of that, and every time Raine was scared when he saw the terrible creatures around him.

After saying that, Torak took her away from the room.

Just like before, by the time they stepped out, Raphael and Calleb were already waiting for them outside the door.

But this time the situation is different. There were so many people around them and Raine didn't like it.

This crowd, four times denser than when they went to the art museum this afternoon.

Haco was a shape-shifter and he ran one of the most famous and influential media in the land Torak visited.

Raine doesn't know what parfume Torak uses, but he likes it.

After coordination between the Torak people and the hotel, they all managed to get out of the hotel without getting into any significant trouble.

At the exit, they meet another Alpha who has attended a meeting with Torak. Then they left in their cars.

But, suddenly Raine felt someone scratch the back of his hand and pierced his skin and made Raine gasp and raised his head.

Torak felt the discomfort that Raine felt and saw his grimacing face. "What's wrong?"
