Love of the Monster

Love of the Monster
A Request

Raine tucked his hair behind his ears and squatted right in front of the door, focusing his attention on the sura echo in the room, but could not catch a word of what they were talking about.

All Raine heard was a resonating voice that meant nothing. Raine wanted to know what he was and what the meaning of the words Belinda said.

However, she could not ask Torak to let her in, Raine still did not dare to ask anything from the man.

But, her curiosity was stronger. And here he is, lying on a cold floor just to hear something from the inside.

It was a pity for this curious girl, this door so thick it could not give her any information.

For now, Raine had already been in the same position for fifteen minutes with his long hair draped around his face and floor.

When she felt her legs numb and her neck stiff, Raine decided to give up when the door suddenly slammed open.

Raine could feel the blood drained from his head going down to the ends of his legs and making his face turn paler than it should be.

From behind the door, Raphael stood while looking down, looking at Raine with curious eyes. "Raine, what are you doing?" he asked after a moment of silence.

Raine was caught red-handed. He was so scared that he forgot to stand up, his eyes implying guilt while staring at Raphael's shoes.

Moments later, Torak crouched down in front of Raine and then carried her.

"We will discuss this later," Torak said as he walked into his room again.

Raphael, Calleb and Belinda walked out, leaving them both behind closed doors.

This is the second time, Raine is in the Torak workspace, like most parts on this floor, this room also has the same color gradation, white and golden.

Torak sat on his leather chair with Raine on his lap, this girl was even too afraid to lay her head on Torak's chest as she used to do, her body stiffened in Torak's embrace.

"Have you just been eavesdropping, my love?"

Torak's voice did not sound angry and soft words still sounded from his lips, which made Raine so brave to lift his head and glance at Torak from his long eyelashes.

When Raine saw Torak, whose face was still very calm as usual and was filled with worry for him, Raine nodded.

"I'm not going to say that I agree with what you're doing." Torak raised Raine's chin, so that their eyes could meet each other. "But I'd rather you say what you want than do it behind my back."

Torak loves Raine and that is an absolute reality, but he is still an Alpha and knows someone is trying to eavesdrop on his conversation, of course this does not make him happy.

Torak had gotten used to Raine being around him and ever since he reached this mansion, this floor had been filled with his scent.

Torak will certainly know if there is someone else eavesdropping on his conversation from an unfamiliar scent that is out of place, but since this is Raine, Torak is unaware of it.

"Okay?" if this was anyone else, Torak would not hesitate to punish them so severely.

However, Raine was a different thing, this girl was his partner. No matter what he did, Torak was unable, in fact, to scold him. Especially to hurt him.

Raine nodded, knowing that he was safe with Torak, but the authority felt from Torak made Raine tremble.

The presence of Torak itself is able to make others feel dominated.

"My love.." Torak called out to Raine very gently while wiping away the tears that fell onto her flushed cheeks. "I'm not mad at you." Torak then leaned over and kissed her tears.

Looking at the crying Raine, Torak felt his heart seem to stop. His domineering nature collapsed along with tears falling down Raine's cheek.

Raine grabbed Torak's phone from his jacket pocket and typed something.

[I'm sorry.]

"I know. Come here." Torak placed both his hands on his back and shoulders, pulling Raine even closer to him.

Torak breathes in the unique scent of Raine's body and the girl lays her head in the curve of the man's neck, Raine sobs silently.

"My love... do you want to do something for me?" Torak asked after he felt Raine had stopped crying.
