Love of the Monster

Prologue

A woman of stunning beauty was standing on a white horse carriage. Her fine, long and wavy hair was adorned with a crescent moon crown. The golden dress she was wearing glittered within the darkness of the night and her body emitted a dim moonlight.

Selene, the Goddess of the Moon.

In front of his brightly shining eyes were three Lycanthropes (1) with large, sturdy bodies, where their bodies were stained by bad cuts, bruises and bruises. Their eyes were the color of blood. With a red color shrouded in hatred and wrath.

Although their ability to heal is impressive, toxins have slowed their healing process.

"This is not the end." The voice of the Moon Goddess resounded inside their heads, ringing like a mysterious instrument.

All around them was evidence of war, the carcasses of monsters lying on the ground along with their blood flowing like a river…

Vultures fly in the air with their dark eyes, the same color as their feathers.

"Seven monsters still live out there, weak, but still alive." The Goddess of the Moon continued.

He looked down, at the three Lycanthropes brothers who were snarling on the ground. At this moment, they had changed their form back in a human form. Their faces were covered with blood and were very difficult to recognize.

"We don't care!" Jedrek Donovan shouted loudly. He was already quite fed up with the heavenly being before him, a Goddess or not.

"You'll care." The Moon Goddess said solemnly.

Donovan's torches stood on his trembling feet. He curled his lips, forming a sly smile. "What a dare," he commented with his rude voice. "We're done with all this."

The battle between Lycanthropes and monsters that lasted for many years, has resulted in many casualties between both parties and other creatures throughout this terrestrial life(2).

One of them is the extinction of the Guardian Angels. The most fragile creature, but it has incredible soul power. Their deaths were intended as sacrifices to shackle the power of the monsters.

Jedrek felt that he had enough to deal with the Moon Goddess. He paid no attention to his presence anymore and walked away from him.

Seeing that Jedrek has left, his two younger brothers, Torak and Kace Donovan, follow in his footsteps.

They stepped over the bodies of the monsters below to immediately leave this area of battle. The mixture of the scent of blood and death that pierced his sense of smell, made them disgusted.

Without affecting their actions and the distance between them, the voice of the Moon Goddess still echoed within the heads of the three.

Torak grunting. It was the power of the Guardian Angels that had shackled the monsters, and now, since they had vanished, there was nothing Selene could do to deal with the rise of the monsters.

"The soul power of the Guardian Angel will breathe in the new life of the human child. Three Guardian Angels will be born into the terrestrial world and once again, the three of you will be their protectors."

"Protectors?!" Jedrek snaps. In the end, he stopped stepping and turned his body to look at the Moon Goddess from a great distance, his eyes glistening with a red tint of anger. The monster inside her was wrathful.

The three of them had been cursed by Selene for the act of savagery of their actions to gain absolute power and authority.

The Moon Goddess did not gift the three with their soul mates as a form of punishment from her cruelty and forced them to engage in a deadly war with the monsters.

"You're going to make us slaves of weak beings like them?!" Torak asked in disbelief. "Aren't you afraid that we'll break them in two?"

The Guardian Angels are very fragile and they, as Lycanthropes, do not appreciate any form of weakness.

"No, you're not gonna do that." Selene said very patiently. "You won't be their slaves nor hurt the Guardian Angels, you will appreciate them in any way."

Jedrek laughed out loud when he heard this. They did not care about the rise of the monsters, because once the monsters crossed his realm, with or without the Guardian Angels, he would tear their bodies apart.

"I'll be the last thing they see when I find it." Jedrek refers to Guardian Angel and the Monsters.

But, Selene's voice was further enveloped with a joy as she spoke.

"You will never hurt your soul mate."
