Torak pulled his hand from Raine's face, the sensation of the touch was gone and made Raine slightly frown, but Torak took Raine's hand and helped her stand up.

Torak pushed open the door and found Calleb leaning against the wall opposite them with his eyes closed.

It has been seven years since Calleb was first promoted as Gamma by Torak and Torak has never been able to understand how he fell asleep anywhere.

Torak nods and takes Raine out of the cursed spot, but Torak then feels his sleeves on the pull and makes him stop walking.

Looking at Raine who lowered his head while grasping the end of Torak's clothes, trying to get the attention of the Alpha.

On the other hand, Calleb's jaw almost fell to the ground when he heard how Torak called out to Raine.

Calleb would never have thought that a terrible creature like Torak would be so sweet to his partner.

Calleb found Raine pointing her finger at the room and she tilted her head in confusion. What does this little man want? Why isn't he talking?

However, the most surprising thing is how Torak knows what Raine wants to convey. He's responding. "You don't have to bring anything from there, I'll buy you anything you need."

There was not a single thing of value in that room, not even this place was valuable enough for this soul mate.

Thinking of how this precious partner had gone through the days in a place like this made the monster inside him wrath.

Raine bit his lips and shook his head while staring at his shoes again.

Very gently and Torak's heart used his index finger to lift Raine's chin so that their eyes could meet each other. "Is there anything important in there for you?"

Raine nodded his head and Calleb looked at the two of them in disbelief.

"Go and take it, I'll wait here."

Raine gives Torak a faint smile that Torak cannot possibly be aware of. A small gesture like this from Raine made himself very satisfied with himself.

Meanwhile, Calleb was confused. How could the Alpha know what his partner wanted with just such a small gesture?
