Torak's gang is filled with anger and demands that want answers, where Raine can not find a way to give it to him. Raine was terrified and wanted to escape from this man before him.

Torak is very angry, no, he is angry and Raine is frightened by what Torak shows him. This man is nothing like the man he knew a few minutes ago. No, Raine wasn't even sure Torak was human.

What kind of creature is this Torak? And what would he do if he was angry?

This man before him was filled with authority and dominance which made Raine feel uneasy. Even so, Raine still felt a strange sense of security from him. But, the sense of security and fear comes in equal portions.

Raine tried to release his hand from Torak's tight grip, but this made Torak growl in a low tone in return.

Torak then rolled up Raine's other hand and stared with anger dancing in his eyes as he saw the same thing in Raine's other hand.

The sight that was plastered before Torak's eyes was; both of Raine's hands contained small black spots that covered his pale skin, this was the remnant of a sign of how many times they had injected him.

The clothes Torak had given him would definitely reveal this entire scar, there was no way Raine could wear those clothes.

Three years in a mental hospital is the toughest day Raine has had to experience, especially when people there know that he was included in the mental facility not because his foster parents wanted to cure him, but because they want to get rid of this girl.

Raine's foster parents are already feeling enough with the madness and chaos that Raine has caused.

When Raine is scared to death because there is a creature that himself does not know what it is, and wants to kill it, usually Raine will make a roar and scream with all his might until the creature leaves him alone.

Somehow, they would run away with painful facial expressions and Raine did not know why, but he did not want to know the reason either.

For nurses and people in mental hospitals, the easiest thing to deal with is to inject Raine. This method always works every time.

However, from the frequency of the injections, this leaves a scar that is still visible on Raine's skin.

Some of the actual injuries were not injuries from injections, but there was a male nurse who was very happy to burn Raine's arm with a cigarette butt still burning.

When Raine did not speak at all and knew that no one would believe him, the man's nurse began to do this for pleasure, to spend his boring work time.

The nurse was really crazy.

And no one cared about the new wounds Raine had, not even his foster parents.

They still came several times in the second year of Raine's presence, but because Raine did not show any progress and his foster parents abandoned him there.

Torak doesn't know anything about this. But, when she had her eyes focused on the scars that adorned Raine's arm, she knew that something really bad had happened while Raine was there.

The Alpha's voice was ringing in Raphael's head and the poor lycan had to stop his steps because of the abomination in the Torak's voice.

And with that, the communication relationship was cut off violently.

Torak needed every cell of his body to subdue the monster that was roaring furiously inside him, Torak's darkest desire that wanted blood at that very instant.

Torak has lived for hundreds of years to be able to control the desire of the monster inside him and he will not get out of control now, not when he is with Raine who is very scared.

The Goddess of the Moon was extremely cruel to him, in his current manner. This was not a pardon for his rotting soul, but it was a challenge to his cruel side.

Not only did Selene provide the creature with the weakest physique, but the Goddess had given the trauma into this situation.

The fear in Raine's eyes shatters Torak's dilapidated soul and knowing that Raine is afraid of him, breaks Torak's heart.

Not heeding the protests and attempts of Raine to get away from him, Torak pulls Raine closer to him.

Torak was too strong for Raine to continue fighting back.

Torak's hand held Raine's waist while his other hand was on his shoulder and made them both very close.

Torak placed his head between the curves of Raine's neck, inhaling in the scent of this girl's body, the only thing that can calm him down and the only thing that can convince him is that Raine is real and he is there with Torak at this moment.

"I'm sorry for scaring you.." Torak muttered on Raine's neck, hiding his anger and blood-colored eyes.

Torak has never been in such a state of anger in the past few decades. Having an eternal life, makes Torak's heart numb and makes him not care about his surroundings.

However, Raine's embrace and the sensation of touch between them, along with the feeling of comfort and warmth due to the closeness that occurs, have given them the sense of security they both need.

Unexpectedly, Raine's small hand patted Torak's back as a form of consolation. Raine was still trembling slightly due to Torak's anger, but it seemed that Raine also knew that Torak did not intend to be angry with him.

With that small gesture, the monster within Torak snored in satisfaction.

Raine tried to calm her down and her small hand rubbed Torak's back gently.

No matter how comfortable Torak was at the moment, he kept in mind the important issues he had to do.

Very reluctantly, Torak let go of their embrace, but before that, Torak gave a small smile on Raine's neck that made him stand stiff.

Laughing lightly, Torak said with a more relaxed mood. "You should eat." And after that he took this little girl out of the room.
