"After you have stepped on this." Belinda stepped on the ground and tracked it several times.
Raine who was crouching on the ground looked at the slightly fat woman with an innocent look in his eyes, he was holding a glass of water.
"Now, pour the water," Belinda said with a slight gasp.
Following those instructions, Raine poured a glass of water over the ground that Belinda had already left in her tracks.
"Alright, everything is done, now we just wait for the seeds to grow in a few days. All that time, we'll have to water it, okay?" Belinda informs Raine.
Raine nodded his head while looking at the ground that had been planted with seeds enthusiastically. It was the first time he had done something like this and he was so excited to see it grow.
"You're so sweet." Belinda pinched Raine's cheek.
Not far from them, Raphael was talking to someone over the phone. He spoke in a low voice, but with a frown between his eyebrows, telling him that the conversation was not good news.
"Belinda, you should go to 'Burg' immediately, '" Raphael said as he broke off the conversation on the phone.
"What's going on?" he asked while cleaning his hands of dirt.
Raphael glanced at Raine and continued. "There's something serious going on and you're needed there, Calleb will be there to tell you." Burg is another way to call prison for them.
Belinda glanced at Raine briefly, who seemed oblivious to the odd gaze from them.
"All right, I'll be there." Belinda walked quickly to the village.
"Raine, there's something Belinda has to do, we'll wait here until Torak comes," Raphael said as he watched Raine follow Belinda.
Raine then walked up to the tree trunk and sat there, waiting patiently for Torak while Raphael made another phone call.
Instinctively, Raine jumped from the trunk of the tree where he was sitting and walked quickly towards him, leaving Raphael shocked.
The new Beta was going after him, but when he saw Torak, he stopped and let the girl run towards her partner, continuing the conversation over the phone.
On the other hand, Raine intended to hug Torak, but considering that his hands and clothes were dirty because he had planted with Belinda, he stopped two steps away from Torak.
Seeing Raine who stopped running towards him made Torak wrinkle his face unhappily. "What's wrong?"
Raine wore a long-handed shirt that had spots of dirty stains on the surface of his shirt and jeans, his hair rolled up, definitely Belinda who had tied him up. He had also taken off his shoes, so Raine was currently running barefoot.
The girl then raised her two dirty hands to show Torak why she could not move closer because then, she would dirty Torak as well.
But getting dirty is the last thing Torak worries about. Today's news and the fact that the succubus had attacked his flock, have infuriated Torak.
Another creature has attacked his flock!
It has been a long time for Torak not to feel this anger, so he needs to be close to Raine to calm the anger inside him.
But, Raine avoided Torak just because he didn't want to make it dirty! To hell with being dirty! He wants Raine!
Torak took a long step and pulled Raine into his arms. Hugged the girl tightly, but was careful not to hurt her.
"I don't mind, my love." Torak buried his nose in the grooves of Raine's neck, taking the opportunity to breathe in his characteristic scent.
The scent of the ground after the rain, the scent that could calm the monsters inside her, the scent that would only belong to this girl.
His love, his soul mate, his only solace.
