Love of the Monster

Love of the Monster
Firebirds

Raine immediately lowered his hand and covered his ears. Torak's cry shattered the tense atmosphere in this empty room, shaking the floor below and making anyone who heard would tremble in fear.

The last thing Raine saw was; the white wolf lunged at him, Raine widened his eyes before he closed them immediately, afraid of seeing the impending clash, when a creature with a weight of twenty times his weight will hit him.

However, what Raine felt was the wolf's soft fur touching his arm as a roar rang through the air.

Raine ducked from the source of the voice with his eyes still closed.

Raine crept down from the bed and limped away, not quite knowing which direction he was taking. Raine stumbled and tried to stand back up and look around in panic.

At that moment, he heard another thunderous roar coming from the other direction, then the door was smashed open, almost unscrewed, hitting the wall with a terrible sound.

Unintentionally, Raine catches the figure of Torak's white wolf and several other wolves in different colors, within her sight.

This scene really frightened Raine and his heart was pounding painfully. With sweaty hands, Raine grabbed the knob of the wardrobe door and stuffed her trembling self inside. With both hands on the verge of losing steam, Raine closed the door.

The girl buried her face between her knees while covering her ears, trying to put her attention on anything other than the roar and the crumbling sound of bones from behind the door.

But, Raine did not have much choice as it was just that which echoed in the darkness around him.

Outside, the battle between the werewolves and the five Kanima(15) has ended. The entire Kanima had died before even help could break down the door.

Torak had killed the entire Kanima in a relatively short period of time, his eyes glistening with a blood-colored savagery and fury around him.

While the whole creature had been shredded into hundreds of pieces under the fangs of the white wolf, blood flowed from its fangs and sharp claws and left traces all over its white fur.

The monster looks very fierce, mystical creatures that have walked on this earth since hundreds of years ago.

After everything was over, he returned to his human form, but those sea-blue eyes still remained a color of blood while the other wolves followed by returning to their human form.

The clothes Torak wore were stained with blood, the red color was very striking, in harmony with the expression of his wrathful face.

Meanwhile, Torak tore apart the clothes he was wearing and threw them away. Torak then smelled the air, he looked towards where Raine was hiding during the fight.

Torak does not want Raine to see this side of himself, like this, but he could not help but fight back when he saw five Kanima suddenly standing right behind Raine with long fangs and ready to lung at him.

The thought made Torak tremble in fear and made him very angry at that moment.

Sensing their Alpha rage, the entire person in the room took a few steps back from him.

Not long after, a flaring light appeared on the tip of the Torak's finger, and something landed smoothly and formed a bird as big as a falcon with wing feathers that shone brightly like a bonfire.

This little creature is the famous Firebird.

This mystical creature flew from the fingertips of Torak and swirled over the carcasses that stood on the floor.

As the little bird flew through the air, it left behind dust and flames that burned the remains of the dead Kanima.

"Very cruel."

A voice greeted them from behind the small group of lycan who were staring at the fire. Simultaneously, more than ten people, directed their eyes at the source of the sound.

Apparently, there was a young man with golden eyes and long hair that curled up to grab his shoulders, standing in front of a large cupboard behind them. However, no one noticed the presence of his figure until he spoke.

They tried to smell the air, but their sense of smell could not get anything. This man had no scent on him.

Torak stepped forward and let out a sharp roar as his claws extended. Torak walked without a doubt towards the young man.

"You better not go any further than this." The man said lamat-lamat, his eyes shining brightly. "Or.." The man grabbed the doorknob from the closet and was almost about to open it when a mystical bird flew down to him quickly.

Although the speed of the bird is amazing, but he managed to avoid it easily. However, the next second, Torak had already wrapped his skinny neck with his fingers.
