Love of the Monster

Love of the Monster
Young Girl In Office

Along the way from the village of Raven to the city of Oriole, Raphael and Torak talked about business, a topic that Raine did not understand.

Therefore, most of her time, Raine spent staring out the window, she had never felt so safe and happy for the past few years.

Then, his eyes caught a newspaper near Torak, the title made Raine curious and picked it up for him to read.

"CHEO TORAK DONOVAN HAS A FORBIDDEN RELATIONSHIP WITH AN UNDERAGE GIRL." This is the main title of the newspaper.

Raine is seventeen years old and legally speaking, he is a minor, while Torak, but in any case, he was a grown man, who looked like he was in his late twenties.

But, this doesn't matter, because Raine's birthday will happen a few months after this. Actually, Raine is very mature for a girl his age.

Experience teaches her everything and makes Raine's mind mature.

But, Torak and Raphael seemed to be talking about this. Somehow, this problem has caused problems in the Torak company and they go to the city of Oriole to solve the problem.

Before Raine could read further what was written in the newspaper, Torak took it from his hands. "You don't need to read this," he said softly and threw the newspaper into the front seat where Raphael was sitting next to the driver.

Raine frowned and wrote something on his ipad. [Have I got you in trouble?] he looked at Torak with his eyes shining brightly and full of worry.

"No, you'll never be a problem for me, my love." Torak rubbed Raine's cheek with his fingertips. "Never will."

Raine can hear the sincerity in Torak's voice and he is serious in every word he speaks.

Surprisingly, every time Raine was with Torak, all his bad memories, all the fears he felt and all the pain during the time spent in the mental hospital, he said, slowly disappearing with just the presence of Torak.

The fact is; all of this happens almost like a miracle, but if Raine thinks back about this, the existence of Torak and its kind is also very absurd.

Therefore, Raine cannot understand it, the thing he knows now, as long as he is with the man next to him, he will feel safe, Torak will always take care of him no matter what.

Raine didn't know how he knew it, he just felt that way. And that's what Torak will always do.

The car drove towards the basement and parked in a place that was only devoted to Torak. Next to where Torak's car is parked, there is a private elevator that will take them directly to Torak's office on the eighty-first floor.

The Torak Office is very simple and well organized. There is a floor-to-the ceiling-window on one side that shows the extraordinary atmosphere of the entire city and on one side there is a white wall.

Raine begins to think that Torak is very happy to be an 'observer'.

There were two large sofas in the middle of the room while the Torak table was on the other side of the elevator, so he would be able to see this whole room, whether someone was coming from the elevator or from the door.

"The meeting will begin in forty minutes on the seventy-seventh floor" Raphael informed Torak. "I'll check the preparations."

With that, Raphael left Torak and Raine alone.

"Bring me a glass of warm milk," Torak said through the intercom while Raine was sitting on the sofa, reading a magazine.

A sweet voice of a woman answered from the other end of the phone.

After Torak disconnects the phone, he walks towards Raine and rubs his head, "i'll be there if you need me." He pointed to his desk, it seemed like Torak had a lot of things he had to work on.

Raine smiled and proceeded to flip through the magazine in his hand when not a while later the door opened.

From the outside, a young woman with a charming smile and a very short skirt walked into the office space, she carried a tray with a glass of milk on it.

Her smile wavered slightly when she looked at Raine's back.

She is a very young girl!

Is she the young girl we're talking about?

The secretary was dreamy and confused.
