Raine did not know what he was feeling right now, the words Torak spoke sounded like a confession to him.

Raine then lowered his head and bit his lips as his heart thumped like a hammer hitting his chest with a very fast rhythm.

Raine does not reject the kiss on her forehead or the way Torak touches her, as she feels safe with him, unconsciously Raine begins to like the interaction between them.

The way Torak makes Raine feel special or how to protect Raine, no one has ever done that to him and what is surprising is the fact that Torak is a Lycan does not bother Raine at all.

[But, why? We just met.] Raine showed his ipad and stared at Torak with a difficult gaze to digest.

Torak then leaned his back against the head of the bed and pulled Raine closer, so that the girl was now lying on his chest. Raine is surprised, but does not push Torak away, instead he finds himself enjoying the thorny heartbeat.

Raine's hand held onto the man's shirt while Torak rubbed his messy hair.

"We, Lycan, have a special meaning to a relationship compared to humans and the whole meaning is centered on our soulmate…"

Torak continues his explanation of how all Lycan will take care of their partner and how much pain they will experience when their partner feels hurt, so it is very impossible for their people to hurt their own partners.

While Torak explained all the information, Raine put his chin on Torak's chest and stared at him very sweetly. Sometimes, there was a surprised look that flashed across her beautiful eyes or a flurry, or in the next second, Raine would furrow her brows or bite her lips.

Torak, without a doubt, really enjoyed the view he saw now.

At the end of the explanation, Raine pointed to himself with questioning eyes, as if asking if he was Torak's soul mate.

"Yes, my love. You are my soul mate." Torak's voice sounded very soft and his facial expression softened as he conveyed those words.

Upon hearing the confession, Raine's face was swept with a reddish tint, himself not knowing why he could blush, but the words Torak had just, made his heart warm.

"I love everything about you.." Torak said solemnly, his words were very sincere and sounded very clear in Raine's ears.

Raine shook his head after seeing Torak in a puzzled look for quite a while and then he sat down.

Meanwhile, Torak frowned and sat up more upright as well.

Did my words scare her? Torak asked himself.

This is the first time Torak has questioned his words and actions. Actually, Torak does not want to make Raine feel desperate, but Torak will not lie about what he feels about him.

[I don't know how I feel about you.]

While reading the sentence, Torak laughed softly and cupped his hands together on Raine's anxious face. "I know, it's too soon and you're still not ready for this, but you don't know how long I've been waiting for you, my love."

How many terrible things Torak has done and the words he made to the Goddess of the Moon, demanding his soul mate that the Goddess had promised him to no avail came to the end, a sense of despair came and he no longer expected anything.

But now Raine is here and there's nothing Torak wants except to be close to him.

"I say this only so that you know that you are the most precious thing to me."

It has been four days since Raine came to this mansion and since the time of Torak's confession during the day, Torak has been very busy.

Sometimes, Torak will leave Raine for an hour or two with Raphael or Calleb and sometimes both Torak confidants will leave them with some reports or documents that Torak must sign.

During that time, Raine spent most of his time in the library, apparently Torak has a private library on this floor with rows and rows of shelves filled with books and Torak will accompany him while completing his own affairs.

Today, Torak has gone somewhere with Raphael and Calleb being assigned to 'care for' Raine.

Gamma is a funny person and Raine quickly gets used to his presence.

Since Raine was there, he had met Raphael and Calleb, and of course Torak.

But, today someone came.

Raine was staring at the children playing in the meadow when someone suddenly barged in from the front door.

This door is a door that connects to the floor below, Torak never forbade Raine to walk around the mansion, but think that he had to meet other people that Raine does not know, but think that he had to meet other people who Raine does not know, makes him not interested at all.

Hearing the sudden noise, Raine ran towards Calleb and, instinctively, hid behind his back.

A middle-aged woman in her forties, emerged from behind the door and automatically her almond-like eyes scanned the entire room, the woman then screamed loudly when she found Raine behind Calleb's back.

"Where are you apparently!"
