They're Like Dead

The prison where they held Jenedieth was an hour from the village of Raven.

Torak took Calleb and ten fighters with him. He leaves Raphael to look after Raine because the Beta is the strongest and one of the Lycan he trusts the most.

Actually, Torak does not want to leave Raine, but prison is not a good place for Raine to start his therapy.

In this case, this will only make it look worse. Raine forced to deliver Torak, so he came to the garage in the basement.

"I'll leave you with Raphael and come back as soon as I can, okay?" Torak cupped Raine's face between his hands with his heart and kissed Raine's nose tip.

The girl closed her eyes and felt the sensation that was felt after the brief kiss, Raine liked it very much.

"If you want to go somewhere, Belinda will accompany you." Torak glanced at Belinda, who was standing behind Raine.

Belinda clapped her hands after the last car was no longer visible. "All right! Raine, how about we take a short walk around the mansion?" He suggested with vigor, enthusiasm emanated from him.

"Raine, you want to walk?" Raphael asked her, making sure that Raine did not feel pressured by Belinda's invitation. "If you don't want to, we can go back to the room."

"No way, how good is it to go back to the room?" Belinda grumbled like a nine-year-old tofu, looking at Raine excitedly. "We discussed this yesterday, young man."

Belinda steps forward, but Raphael gets in the way by putting Raine behind her body. "And you agreed not to impose anything on her that she didn't want." His voice sounded very firm and almost Torak-like.

Belinda did not react impulsively like yesterday when she faced Calleb, her attitude was much more respectful towards the Beta when she stepped back.

"Do you want to go with Belinda?" Raphael turned his body and asked Raine.

Raine then looked at Belinda who was smiling very widely at him, trying to prove that she had no intention of hurting him at all.

Their first encounter is a little less than pleasant when Belinda tries to strangle Calleb and the sight is still embedded in Raine's memory.

However, looking at this middle-aged woman once again, she was not as horrifying as yesterday. Moreover, Raphael would be with her as well, so Raine thought everything would be fine.

Slowly, Raine nodded his head and pointed somewhere behind Belinda's back.

"You want to go to the meadow?" Raphael quickly responded to what Raine could not say.

Raine nodded again.

The direction to the meadow was right behind Belinda's back.

"Oh," the middle-aged woman hit her own head after understanding. "I don't think about it, then, let's go to the meadow!" he said enthusiastically.

Camouflage from this prison is an old house that is not occupied with two floors that have a medieval style and red bricks as the foundation.

Despite the height of the stone walls surrounding the area, the words 'Personal Property' hang on the steel gate at the entrance to prevent curious people and creatures from being invited, the turret of this place.

But it seems that all these precautions mean nothing to the side that came last night.

A young man leads the way for Torak and the Gamma to the second floor while the coiled Lycan guards outside the house.

"Jimmy, are you sure that there are no signs of forced entry?" Calleb asked Jimmy who was delivering them.

"No. It's almost like the intruder party just walked in and out without anyone trying to stop them" Jimmy replied. Tiredness was very noticeable from his face. "But, the guard who was on guard last night, somehow ended up like this…"

With those words, Jimmy opened the door to the other room on the second floor, this second room was like a hospital room with two rows of beds on either side.

There were about twenty beds and all of them were full. On each bed lay lifeless men with little open eyes and blurred vision.

Their faces were extremely pale and did not display any expressions.

"What happened to them?!" Calleb exclaimed as he approached the nearest bed.

There lay a young man with curly brown hair, staring with blank eyes. Calleb waved his hand in front of the young man's eyes but there was no reaction. Even when Calleb pointed at his cheek, the young man's head only turned to the other side and there was still no response whatsoever.

"I don't know. Shift morning found them already like this. It was only after we put the night shift here that we realized that the prison where Jendieth was being held was open and that he couldn't be found anywhere." Jimmy explained.

"How did they end up like this?" Calleb muttered, his hands clenched tightly. Although this was the first time he had seen them, they were a flock and this made Calleb riled up with the fact that someone was playing with them.

"Succubus," Torak said in a clear voice. His gaze was focused on the person who was lying right in front of him.

"Succubus?" Calleb and Jimmy repeated it at the same time. Their eye brows clutched while their noses shriveled with facial expressions that showed hatred.

If this is a succubus, then these people are as good as dead.
