The Sloths

Raine stared at the surroundings timidly, he tilted his head from one side to the other and when he could not find what he was looking for, Raine began to walk around the room.

Torak followed Raine, not far from him, with a curious facial expression. However, after a while, Raine seemed unable to find what he was looking for, so Torak approached him and placed his hands on both sides of Raine's face.

Raine flinched, still unfamiliar with Torak's touch. However, the desire to touch Raine is unbearable for Torak.

The sensation of touching his soul mate is like an opium and this is the first thing Raine should learn, as Torak wants Raine to get used to his touch and presence.

Torak ignored Raine's reluctance and his attempt to remove his hand from his face, he then asked gently. "What are you looking for, my love?"

The Alpha rubbed Raine's delicate cheek with his thumb.

Raine tries to tell Torak by using his body language, for some reason at that moment, Raine forgets his fear of Torak and looks it straight into his eyes, because he hastily wanted to tell Torak what he needed.

In his haste, Raine looks very sweet in Torak's eyes.

"Book?"

Raine nodded.

"You want to draw that guy?"

Raine nodded back.

"All right." Torak walked across the room towards his etch which was lying in the middle of the room and Raine involuntarily followed him.

Torak took a notebook and a pen. "I don't have a pencil, is it okay to use a pen? Or should I ask someone to buy you a pencil?"

Raine shook his head and took the book and pen from Torak's hand. He then sat on the sofa, pulled his knees to his chest and started drawing something.

While Raine was busy drawing, Torak took this moment to observe Raine.

This girl was so thin and Torak assumed Raine must be under normal weight, her skin looked very pale, almost transparent and her lips slightly cracked.

However, despite all that, she was the most beautiful girl in the eyes of the Alpha. Beauty that can make Torak lose the words to describe it.

They seem to have to meet psychologically as well. Torak had asked Raphael to investigate Raine and he found that; raine did not want to talk anymore like this because of what he had experienced in the mental hospital.

This information of course made Torak very angry.

What exactly have they done until Raine won't speak again? This fact makes Torak very disturbed.

Unknowingly, a low growl roared from Torak's chest with a shadow that Raine had experienced something very bad.

When he heard and felt Torak's anger, Raine's head lifted and his eyes looked at Torak with fear.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to growl at you.." Torak apologized and approached Raine with heart, not wanting to surprise Raine again.

Raine still looked at Torak unsettledly, but did not move away as Torak sat next to him. Raine bit his lip and lowered his face, continuing the picture in the book.

It took a few minutes for Raine to finish it and give the portrait to Torak.

There was a faint smile on Raine's lips and Torak really liked it.

Torak's eyes glowed and the wolf inside him wiggled his tail excitedly due to the small gesture Raine gave him.

Torak's eyes change color between blue and black when a name is fizzed between his teeth with the disgust that Torak feels.

"Belphegor…"

Even Raine can hear the resentment felt from the way Torak mentioned the name.

Raine then writes something on his palm and touches Torak's shoulder with his finger and when Torak finally looks at him, Raine raises his hand to show him the writing.

[Who?]

Torak did not immediately answer Raine's question. He looked towards her intensely before finally shaking his head. "I'll tell you later."

No wonder Torak can not smell anything and feel its presence. So it was Belphegor!

Raine wrote something again in his palm and showed it to Torak.

[What happened?]

There was worry in both of Raine's beautiful eyes as his brows linked with curiosity. However, Torak still shook his head. He still didn't want to tell Raine everything. This is not the right time.

Therefore, when Raine was about to write something again in his palm, Torak grasped it and kissed Raine's knuckles.

"It turns out, you're so happy to talk, my love... Why don't you just talk to me?" Torak asked, looking at Raine while kissing the back of his hand.

Raine did not say anything, he just stared at his hand that was being held by Torak.

Torak then smiled very charmingly, "There will be someone who comes to bring you clothes and underwear, the clothes are in the bathroom. After the shower, you can change clothes with it." Torak tells him and lets Raine go.

Hearing Torak mention the underwear, Raine's face heats up and clumsily, Raine walks away from Torak towards the bathroom.

This made Torak smile seeing Raine acting awkward. But, when Raine's figure had disappeared, Torak's eyes became faint, like someone who was contemplating.

Torak summoned Raphael through the mind link.

[Raph?]

[Yes, Torak?]

[Stop looking. You will never find it.]

There was a silence before Raphael finally asked again. [Do you already know what creatures have entered your room?]

[Yes, Belphegor. The sloths(14).]
