Last night.
Inside the dark room that only had the sound of metal clinking, a woman was kneeling on the cold stone floor. His hands stretched out on both sides of his body as if he was going to fly in the next second.
However, it was impossible to do so with the iron binding his wrist that connected him to the nearby stone wall.
Due to the darkness that enveloped the room, no one else would be able to see how badly the woman was injured, but from the difficult way of breathing, it would not be an exaggeration if the person who heard it assumed that this woman was in a battered state.
Her hair fell to the side of her face, forming a curtain that covered her face as she lowered her head in defeat. This woman was naked like the condition when she was first born.
But, it seemed like nothing could be seen from him except the shadow of his body shape.
Moments later, the wind blew and hit her face, making her hair fly and a crisp and seductive voice resonate, shaking the walls of the prison.
"Jenedieth, right?"
The battered Jenedieth was startled, but too tired to lift his head, his breathing stopped panting for some time, as he smelled the air, and he was still breathing, but he couldn't catch any scent around him.
Jenedieth sharpened his hearing to listen to the sounds of movement, but none. It was as if the voice resonated from within his imagination alone.
"Take me if you can hear me" the voice reverberated.
"Who...who are you?" Jenedieth used the rest of his energy to ask, not too sure of his senses that could not catch any creature around him at this moment.
"Someone will take you out of this place if you're willing to cooperate." The woman's voice spoke back.
"… My father.." The first thought that came to Jenedieth's mind when he heard that someone had come to prison was that his father had ordered this strange woman to get him out of this hell-like prison.
Jenedieth furrowed his brows reflecting on his confusion. "... you mean?"
"No more Alpha Xavier from the Blue Moon Swarm," she informed Jenedieth in an emotionless tone. "He's dead, Torak has killed him."
Jenedieth's breathing became erratic when he heard this.
It could not be... his father could not have died... In that case, who would have brought him out of this place?
"… it is impossible." Jenedieth murmured, trying to raise his head to look at the woman who had given him this, but Jenedieth's sore and bruised neck could not support his determination.
Suddenly, the iron that tied Jenedieht's wrist fell to the floor with a loud clattering, along with Jenedieht's body, the only thing that prevented him from falling.
But, when there was nothing holding Jenedieth back, her battered body fell down like a deciduous leaf. The impact of the fall hurt Jenedieth's head very hard, for a moment Jenedieth felt he would faint.
However, Jenedieth resisted her desire to close her eyes by looking around her, but the darkness did not allow Jenedieth to see anything of this mysterious woman.
"Can't be?" the woman's voice scoffed. "What is impossible? We are talking about Torak, killing is not impossible for him.
Jenedieth's father is an Alpha! How could Torak kill him without a second thought? What crime has his father committed? Is it because of him? If his father is dead, then who will take him out of here?
Fear and panic enveloped Jened Jenedieth's brain, making it hard to breathe and almost driving him crazy.
"Who...you?" Jenedieht managed to pop the question from her lips before the darkness completely swallowed it and a faint voice answered the question.
"Lilith."
