The Reward in the Heart
At night in a residential cluster that looks quiet from the activities of its citizens, one of the houses with a typical Japanese cultural accent looks four people are gathering in the family room chatting. Jester who sat next to Naomi opposite Luna and Selena who separated a table, Naomi at that time still looks jealous looking at Jester because of Luna's request. Not to mention as if Jester agreed to Luna's request, it was almost charred with jealousy.
"Yes if you want it to be so. Just let me here with my mind where - where!" naomi said, her voice sounded angry but she was embarrassed to reveal her true heart.
"Eeh.. eeh. but I have a duty for you and Selena" said Luna like ignoring Naomi's words while giving a small note to Selena and Naomi, for a moment Jester, Jester, Naomi and Selena go silent reading the note, which contains cake ingredients, home party accessories, and party invitation letters for Luke, Harry, and Justin.
"What's this?" naomi asked puzzledly, hearing the question Luna looked at Naomi with her smile.
"Fourty-two days away from Jester's birthday" in a tone that sounded sad Luna said, hearing Luna's answer made Naomi surprised and then looked at Jester.
"really? how do I not know?" naomi asked in a voice that sounded annoyed, Jester threw her face away and scratched her forehead.
"Because you didn't ask.anyways the man never showed off his birthday, it sounded not a man" replied Jester flat, but Jester's answer made Naomi angry and pinched Jester's stomach with a tube.
"If it's like that, why would Luna know of your birthday?!!" full of anger Naomi said, Jester was not given a chance to explain.
"awwm!! Oh, naomi!! I can explain!!" yell Jester in pain
"Hihihihi.. I know from the biodata in the osis membership" Luna's timpal and the answer made Naomi stop pinching Jester's stomach.
Luna who knows a lot about Jester often makes Naomi jealous, however she wants to be the best one for Jester. But if you remember the presence of Luna was earlier than herself plus Luna is a figure who loves Jester makes Naomi realize it is not strange, he even regretted why he even escaped to find out a little thing about Jester.
"Because there are still forty-two days left.I won't have time to celebrate with you, so if Brother Jester is pleased.I want your birthday party to be brought forward" suddenly, Luna's voice sounded sad and impressed with regret
"I don't care if it makes you happy and gives me memories together, I don't mind" Jester agreed to Luna's request, jester's words make Luna look surprised because Jester agreed to his idea.
"Thank you" Luna replied and smiled sweetly at Jester, being a happy day for Luna because the attitude of Jester who began to accept her presence makes Luna eager to create a beautiful moment of togetherness as she dreamed.
"Luna! don't keep teasing Jester!! you want to spread the charm?!" timpal Naomi was upset, but Luna responded by sighing with a cynical smile then shook her head several times that seemed to be mocking Naomi's jealousy. The commotion occurred again in the house, between Naomi and Luna who were like two cats fighting over the territory. Again, the quarrel was only seen by Jester and Selena who were not interested in breaking up the two, as if the two enjoyed a fight between Naomi and Luna.
"They're familiar huh" Jester chirped at Selena
"Yes.their properties are similar" says Selena flat.
After a few minutes of fighting, they broke up and went to each room. Evenings change bright mornings, Friday mornings more precisely where only upper semester students have a lecture schedule. Except for Jester who at that time there was one lecture schedule, all because of the genius of the bookworm that made him able to take courses in the upper semester. Waking up eager to start the day with a lecture schedule without Luke and Harry, Jester rushes to get ready and heads to the dining room for breakfast.
Gathering in the dining room with Naomi, Selena and Luna seems to be a sight for Jester a month ahead, enjoying breakfast with a toast and a glass of warm milk while hoping that morning will be a quiet day... but it's just a hope. Naomi and Luna fight again just because they both make breakfast for Jester, a sight that is familiar to Jester and Selena.
"How about you just have breakfast with this? you can be late if you wait for them to make peace" Selena said while giving her artificial toast to Jester, without saying too much Jester immediately took the toast and ate it.
"Selena!! why are you stealing another chance?!!" snapped Naomi and Luna together, but Selena again - again responded with a stick of tongue as usual to mock them and finally the three of them had a fight with each other. After finishing breakfast with a view of the quarrel of three women in front of him, Jester then stood up to go to campus. But when it arrived - suddenly Luna slightly ran to hold Jester to not leave first, Jester who was surprised turned to look at Luna with surprise.
"Wait, I'm coming home and we go straight to the squere festival" said Luna, hearing Luna's words made Naomi and Selena pause from their quarrel.
"Then me and Selena will get ready for the mall, but..." Naomi hung up her sentence and looked at her sad face looking at Jester and Luna, at that time Jester understood very well Naomi was jealous and did not want her to go alone with Luna but Naomi was trapped by the words - she said herself.
"No need to worry, I'll just finish what's stuck in my heart with him. My love remains yours and will forever remain that way" Jester said it resolutely and smilingly looked at Naomi to assuage her blazing flames, blushing Naomi's face with Jester's sombre line at the time.
"Aahs.. Eeh.. aa. beware of lying. I will not forgive you.." Naomi said as she blushed in embarrassment while turning her body away from Jester looking at her blushing face, Jester laughed at Naomi's response and immediately stepped out to go to campus with Luna.
On the way Jester and Luna were silent, Jester did not seem to want to break the silence either and as if to let the silence remain silent. Arriving at the campus, as usual Jester directs Mercedes Benz V260 to the campus parking lot. There Jester and Luna separated, Jester headed for class while Luna waited for Jester at the campus park close to the parking lot.
Not far from the park was seen Justin and Grece who were walking side by side, Justin who at that time saw Luna from a distance to ignore Grece who told endless stories. Knowing that he was being asked to make Grece sulk and find out what was able to divert Justin's eyes at that time, his eyes were fixed on Luna who was sitting reading a book in a park.
"You familiar?" asked Grece curious, a foreign woman who had never seen Grece in the campus provoked his curiosity.
"You remember my story about Jester's first love?" ask Justin
"Don't tell me that he's not done yet Grece spoke, Justin immediately stepped his foot closer to Luna. Without a second thought and asking as much as usual, Grece followed Justin and his eyes continued to stare at Luna from a distance. After being close together, Justin immediately greeted Luna without any hesitation.
"Luna" greeted Justin in a tone that seemed to not believe she would meet him again, hearing someone say hello to Luna also turned her eyes to look at Justin while closing the book she held.
"Sister Justin? long time no see, you don't change much" Luna sounded happy when she met Justin, her smile was even flashing when their eyes met. It did not feel as if Justin was stunned to look at Luna's face for a long time, until Grece's pinch on Justin's arm resuscitated him.
"Your boyfriend? beautiful~" praised Luna while paying attention to Grece's appearance from top to bottom, hearing the compliment made Grece look happy then immediately shook Luna's hand tightly.
"Werner Grece! the second son of Werner Turner, the owner of the largest television and media network in the country, you can call me Grece plus the beautiful one too gapapa! I'm Justin's most beautiful girlfriend!" grece's enthusiasm said it and made Luna laugh
"Luna Lincoln. Hopefully we can make good friends" with a tone that sounded happy Luna introduced herself, Justin's hand arrived - suddenly patted Grece's shoulder to attract his attention.
"Grece, I want to talk to Luna alone. Can you leave us first?" pinta Justin firmly as if to give Grece no choice but to obey his wishes, Grece who is always curious about anything looks angry staring at Justin.
"What is secret - secrecy? I don't like it!" kind of snapped at Grece saying so
"This is important, please leave us for a moment" Justin said, although Grece's heart was left behind Justin and Luna just like that. When Justin had made sure that Grece had gone far away, he sat in front of Luna with a serious look.
"Luna.." Justin was not done talking as if Luna knew what Justin would say to her, with what Selena had told him, it certainly made Luna understand who Justin was on the side of now.
"I know what you're going to ask sis, but I'm not going to answer it" with a smile Luna said, Justin sighed and returned Luna's smile.
"No, I'm sure you misunderstood what I wanted to ask. I just wanted to ask, what changed your mind to do this?" justin asked with a look of pity to Luna, Luna's smile disappeared along with Justin's gaze to her.
"I just want to finish what I have to finish first. Running from problems will not make the heart become peaceful, but my time is not much... I feel lucky that Jester's girlfriend is a person as good as Naomi, so I can run to reach my goal" Luna replied sounding sad, Justin sighed again at Luna's reply.
"As someone who knew about you from the beginning.I didn't expect you to take this step in the last second" full of regret Justin said, Luna smiled back at Justin.
"Sorry to make you worry brother and sorry.I used to reject your love" although smiling but Luna's tone sounded full of regret and sadness.
"It's okay, I just wanted to keep you company. But I'm surprised that you rejected Jester too, I don't understand what you were thinking at the time. May I know?" justin asked curiously, the two fell silent staring at each other with faces that looked serious.
"No" with Luna laughing said it, feeling bullied by Justin also laughing.
"No need to discuss the past, I now have no more than thirty days and I will not be in vain with my foolish thoughts. Will you accompany me until I leave? I want to create memories with you" said Luna, her genuine smile as she looked at Justin made Justin seem reluctant to refuse Luna's request.
"I will solve your problems with Luke and Harry, hopefully you can be happy Luna." Justin said, then stood up and left Luna at the park.
"Thank you.." muttered Luna letting go of Justin.
Ninety minutes passed and Luna was still in the same position reading the book she had been carrying, from a distance Jester looked at Luna with a flat gaze as he walked over to her. Realizing that Jester was nearby, Luna closed the book and smiled at Jester.
"I thought hard all this morning to find out. what really stuck in my heart about me. You and. festival squere" said Jester sounding still curious, something disturbs Jester's mind and heart about the three things he mentioned but he is still confused about what exactly is behind it.
"Naomi's Pandora's box really made you forget, sister, don't I want to reopen it?" luna asked sounding sad, Jester sighed loudly enough to respond to Luna's question.
"Honestly, I want to close it tight - close and if I can, I also want to throw it far away... but Naomi made me realize that what I want is only a temporary relief of my heartache and not resolve anything, I will now fight as hard as possible to forget you to the root" jester then turned and walked away from Luna to the campus parking lot, feeling guilty and showing the sadness of Luna standing up and following Jester.
Forty minutes drive to get to the festival squere, Jester and Luna get out of the car and at that time Luna immediately ran to the entrance gate of the festival squere and looked around the area. Luna looks very happy which is clearly illustrated by her radiant face - series, her childlike behavior makes Jester remember Selena's behavior when they first came to this place. For a moment Jester held his head and shook it a few times, as if he was trying to be conscious from daydreaming.
"For a long time I have never been to this place again, it seems like a lot of new rides here" said Luna sounded very happy, Luna ran a little away from Jester and then she turned to look at Jester with a sweet smile.
"When was the last brother here?" ask Luna
"Come on. It seems new - just been with Selena.." replied Jester seemed to be trying to remember something, Luna was silent to look at Jester and lost her smile. Luna's gaze at that time made Jester realize something, with a sigh of Jester as if remembering what had disturbed his mind since.
"I remember when I came here with Selena for the first time... He asked me when I was last here and I answered that I was last here with Luke and Harry when I was in high school and told him that I never brought another woman here" with Jester's guilt, Luna smiled back at Jester.
"Not to feel guilty, Selena must understand your answer" said Luna still with her smile, but Jester looked at Luna with a suspicious look.
"What's really going on? what are you planning on doing Luna?!" Jester's impact at that time made Luna jerk, but Luna still tried to keep smiling looking at Jester.
"I don't understand what you're saying sister" trying to keep Luna calm, Jester walked up to Luna and squeezed both her shoulders.
"Why is Selena acting like you?!" snapped Jester in front of Luna's face, although surprised and her eyes glazed - glass but Luna still smiled looking at Jester.
Jester now remembers that the nagging thing at the squere festival was because of Selena's attitude towards him, a memory of Luna being open now makes Jester understand why he felt comfortable when Selena was at his side. A comfortable feeling that can even make him unwilling to release Selena from his life and make it seem like a false giver of hope to Selena, the puzzle of their relationship is getting a bright spot.
