The Unexpected Presence
A bright night with a sprinkling of stars dotting the sky, in one of the suburban hospitals. The distinctive atmosphere that is often seen in every hospital, has always been a sight commonly encountered by everyone who is there. Jester, Luke and Harry decide to wait for Naomi in the hospital cafeteria and enjoy a drink they ordered while chatting. Were it not for Naomi's request for company, the hospital cafeteria would not have been a fun place for the three musketeers to gather.
"Why did Luna show up again?" harry asked as he began the conversation, Jester put his head on his desk and seemed unwilling to continue the conversation.
"Given that Selena is also there, this could be included in her plans with Camilla" Luke replied confidently, but Jester really did not respond to anything and remained in his original position. Luke and Harry looked worried about the condition of his best friend, then Luke patted Jester's shoulder a bit hard.
"Can Naomi's presence make you forget about Luna?" luke asked, Jester looked at Luke with blank eyes as if daydreaming.
"That's something different Luke" Jester replied with a sigh
"How do you want it now?" luke's question sounded a little upset to Jester, Jester put his head back on the table.
"Come, I'm confused" replied Jester so resignedly, Luke's countenance looks angry when he heard Jester's answer but he was still trying to patiently face his best friend. Harry could only laugh at Luke's expression.
"Hey Jester, Luke and I will never be able to understand how deep your heart wound is." said Harry hanging up his lines waiting for Jester's response, not long after Jester raised his head again to look at Harry but his gaze was still empty.
"But there's already a woman who loves and waits for you right now, don't you have a conscience to the point of ignoring her? we're just worried about your attitude, if this continues to be Naomi will leave you because she can't stand your stupidity" Harry continued his interrupted sentence, but Jester remained silent.
"No way, even if he's acting like that until the end of his life, I want to stay by his side" Naomi said as she walked up to Jester, Luke and Harry. The three then turned to look for the source of Naomi's voice, Naomi smiled as she continued to walk and sit next to Jester.
"Just leave her like this, I don't mind as long as Jester lets me be by her side" Naomi spoke in a soft voice and smiled sweetly at Jester, naomi's speech at that time made Jester glued and fascinated. Luke pulls Jester's collar violently and Harry cries while pounding the table several times.
"Dammit!! where did your luck come from to be able to date a woman as good as her?!!" luke's snarl sounded angry and envious
"Letch!!! i'm envious!!!" timpal Harry with a shout, Jester responded by closing his ears as if he did not care about the two.
There was a commotion in the cafeteria that made the hospital security officers expel them, finally the four of them left the cafeteria. Actually the commotion created by them is just a joke, yes, as usual the behavior of these three friends is always excited wherever they gather.
Wanting to leave the hospital, the four of them walked past Becca's room. There they see Daniel standing in contemplation, Luke and Harry showing a face that looks unfriendly, while Naomi shows a nonchalant attitude, and Jester's eyes were diverted to the red rose bucket in the trash. They passed by Daniel without a word, but suddenly Daniel turned to look at those who continued walking.
"Jester!! I want to say something!!" a bit of shouting Daniel said it. Hearing Daniel's words makes Jester, Luke and Harry stop their steps at the same time, while Naomi tries to pull Jester to keep walking ignoring Daniel. Jester, Luke, and Harry turn their heads toward Daniel, and Daniel approaches and confronts Jester, who is behind Luke and Harry.
"I know very well the types of children of rich people like you, you find it all easy for you to get on the basis of your parents' facilities.." Not yet finished Daniel spoke, Luke cut.
"Just get to the point" Luke told Daniel
"Ok, to the point!! Naomi will not fit into the criteria of the woman who.." Daniel's speech was again cut.
"Daniel!!!" naomi yelled angrily at the moment, hearing Naomi's clasping make Jester, Luke and Harry turned their eyes to look at Naomi's back.
"Enough, unsatisfied you hurt me?! I did not even repay your evil deeds to me!! can't.... can't you let me go...? please allow me to be happy in my own way." Naomi's tears suddenly broke when she said it, her voice sounding heavy and trembling. Jester's eyes widened when he realized Naomi's voice was heard crying, the thing that Jester hated when he saw Naomi crying because of Daniel. Jester's emotions began to smolder, considering that Jester had been looking moody.
"I'm only realising that you're mine!!" daniel snapped, hearing the crack made Luke feel so emotional and then he walked up to Daniel, but Jester held him back as he continued walking toward Daniel and faced him head-on.
"You know my criteria? Haah... don't joke" a little laugh with Jester's innuendo said, the two stared at each other with hatred.
"He is mine and you have no right to take him from me!!" daniel snapped, Jester laughed at Daniel's words.
"Have you heard his request? just let him go, let him find his own happiness" Jester said, Jester's words made Daniel look so emotional that his body trembled.
"What do you know about me and him?! you're just a stranger coming into our relationship!!" Daniel again snapped with emotion, and Jester laughed at Daniel. Jester's laughter made Naomi surprised and turned her body to look at Jester, not least Luke and Harry who showed a look of astonishment.
"Haha...You're right, I'm just a stranger who used to pull his hand over the campus parking lot and admit it as my girlfriend" kind of laughed Jester said
"If so, you should be self-conscious!!" still with a snatch of Daniel chimed in Jester's speech
"Even this stranger can take Naomi's heart from you, I suspect.Naomi's true heart who is the stranger?" jester quipped Daniel, not accepting that Jester's insinuations made Daniel dark. Daniel directs his punch to Jester's face, but Jester's leg first kicks Daniel's leg to make Daniel fall.
"You've had a chance and you've failed, you have to stop living in the past. Face it, you just keep hurting your heart" Jester said
"That's right, it should have been passed just let it pass and the right of every individual to seek his own happiness" said Sarah who suddenly appeared behind Naomi, sarah's curse shocked everything and they turned their eyes to look at Sarah. Taking off her glasses and smiling Sarah looked at Luke, the look made Luke's hair stand up.
"Sarah.." said Naomi greeting Sarah in a slow and slightly hoarse voice, Sarah walked up to Naomi and wiped Naomi's tears with both hands.
"The woman's tears are expensive Naomi" with a smile Sarah said, Naomi smiled looking at Sarah.
"I'll remember well" Naomi said, Sarah walked past Harry, Luke and Jester and stuck her hand out to Daniel to help her stand up.
"Would you like to come here?" daniel asked, Daniel's sniffling voice made Sarah laugh and turned to look at Jester.
"Jester right? this is the second time we've met, do you remember?" asked Sarah kindly, immediately Jester put on a look of astonishment looking at Sarah
"A fast food restaurant, right? that's why my life is changing now" replied Jester flatly, this time Sarah laughed at Jester's reply.
"Daniel loves Naomi so much, can you give Naomi back to this pathetic man?" sarah asked with a smile, all shocked to hear Sarah's request to Jester.
"Gram!" naomi sounded angry
"That's right? I said what it is, but it's all in your hands, isn't it Jester?" asked Sarah again with no burden, Jester was silent for a moment.
"I can't decide, only Naomi can answer him whether he wants to come back or not" replied Jester flatly, Luke's emotion ignited at Jester's reply and then pulled Jester's shoulder violently
"What - what is your answer?! you're letting Naomi back as this loser?!" asked Luke in an emotional tone, Luke's words made Sarah smile.
"Hi... Let's see you again, would you consider my offer?" as Sarah turns the conversation around, Luke is jolted at the question and leaves Jester, Naomi and Daniel astonished.
"You know each other?" jester asked curiously, a little panicked as Luke turned to his back as if avoiding the question
"Forget it, it's not the time to be discussed. but Jester... Do you really love Naomi? because if you don't, you're going to hurt him worse than Daniel hurt Naomi" Sarah said, Jester gasped. At that time Jester just fell silent to look into Sarah's eyes as if waiting for Jester's answer, slowly Jester throw away face avoiding eye contact.
"Why are you asking like that? why do you care about Naomi? didn't you make Naomi like this?" harry asked, pressing Sarah, but Sarah kept smiling and turned her eyes to look at Harry.
"I'm a professional, Daniel and I are nothing more than a business relationship. So when I found out my work interfered with their love story, I could only suggest something I thought was a win-win solution" Sarah calmly replied, slowly clenching her hands together and gathering the courage to speak.
"Jester." said Naomi in the silence between them, slowly Jester turned to look at Naomi and found Naomi's reddened face staring at her.
"Do you.. love me?" naomi asked with a shy and hopeful feeling, as her face lowered slowly avoiding eye contact with Jester who also looked flushed.
"Wow... shot straight at the heart" Sarah chirped with a slight laugh, Daniel wanted to talk but Luke threatened her with a hand gesture and a threatening look.
"Na...omi.... should you ask..... here?" jester asked stammeredly, Sarah laughed amusedly at Jester's question.
"Seriously? ahaha... hey Luke, this friend of yours sucks huh" Sarah chirped in a voice that sounded insinuating, Luke smiled wryly at Sarah's innuendo as if holding in shame.
"He doesn't love Naomi!! what is less clear?! she can't even answer Naomi's questions!" Daniel who had been silent as if he had an opportunity to attack the stupidity of Jester, with a fanatical Daniel said it. As Daniel agreed, Luke and Harry sighed in disappointment at the attitude Jester had shown to Naomi.
"It's okay, I understand Jester. Sorry to ask at a time like this" said Naomi sounded sad and disappointed, Naomi turned around to leave the place making Luke and Harry simultaneously pat them on the forehead. Jester was surprised to see Naomi's response, while Daniel smiled cynically at the win over the situation.
"What is this thing called true love?" sara's chirps at that time along with Jester who arrived - suddenly ran and kneeled in front of Naomi with eyes so deep, the look on Jester's face showed regret and fear. Naomi was surprised to see the expression and attitude of Jester at that time.
"Naomi... wait.." said Jester stammered with a panic-sounding tone, seeing Naomi who arrived - suddenly will go make Jester remember the words of Harry in the cafeteria earlier.
"I'm sorry Naomi.. I. not that I don't want to answer your question. I just.." Jester hasn't finished talking, Naomi smiled at Jester and cut her words.
"Have not continued. I understand.." - timpal Naomi sounded happy and moved, Jester's breath gasping as if he had just escaped his fear. Suddenly Sarah clapped her hands a few times and made everything focus on looking at Sarah
"Good show, like in romance movies... Aaah~ unfortunately my heart is numb" Sarah chirped along with the cessation of her claps, Naomi helped Jester to stand up but the look on Jester's face at that time still looks worried.
"What do you really want?" asked Harry suspiciously, Sarah laughed as she walked up to Naomi, who looked at her and did not want to respond to Harry's question.
"I helped you, didn't I, Naomi? can you forgive me?" asked Sarah with a smile, the words Sarah again surprised all who were there was no exception Daniel who began to show his anger again.
"I've never been angry with you" replied Naomi, although she was surprised by Sarah's attitude, after hearing the answer Sarah again walked away from them to the hospital exit.
"I'm here to see Becca, but what I found was a commotion. The rest please continue, bye bye~ Daniel.. when - when I will come to see again yes" said Sarah while walking to leave them, just a few steps Naomi turned to look at Sarah.
"Sarah" somewhat yelled Naomi calling, hearing Naomi say her name made Sarah stop her steps and turned to look at Naomi who was smiling at her.
"Thank you" Naomi said in a soft voice, and Sarah smiled at Naomi
"From losers to fools, is that really your choice Naomi? but congratulations, I'm waiting for your wedding invitation~" Sarah chirped and walked back to the hospital exit, everything was silent for a while after Sarah's departure. In their hearts each was filled with questions about the purpose of Sarah who seemed to insinuate Daniel.
