Selena's Cry

Late Sunday night, accompanied by heavy rain in a suburban hospital, Naomi, Blenda and Liam were seen in one of the treatment rooms sitting close to Becca, who was lying in a hospital bed. They were engrossed in chatting full of laughter like they were comforting Becca who was treated there, while in the front of the hospital room Becca saw Jester and Daniel sitting next to each other in a chair that is available to look silent to each other.

At the same time but in a different place, precisely in one corner of the Gates hotel restaurant. Marrie and Naoko were sitting face to face that night, accompanied by a wine and some small meals as the opening menu of both. A few moments later came waitress to serve the next dish they ordered, until all had been confirmed presented on the waitress table left both. Naoko and Marrie remain face to face but still silent to each other, Naoko looks confused by the attitude of Marrie that night.

"How's Evans doing?" marrie asked open the chat, Naoko took a breath and exhaled slowly.

"So bad, sometimes he suddenly felt dizzy. His health is up and down, I'm very worried about the end of this" Naoko replied sounding sad, Marrie was also concerned to hear it.

"I'm so sorry, is there no way Evans can recover?" asked Marrie again, Naoko was astonished to look at Marrie who arrived to talk about Evans' health.

"What's wrong? you invited me just to talk about Evans' health?" naoko asked in a surprised tone, Marrie was jolted at Naoko's question.

"Hohoho, no, that's not why I'm inviting you in particular tonight - nights like this, you know I'm asking you to review our plans" replied Marrie a little frantic, Naoko gulped down her wine and looked back at Marrie

"Don't everything go according to plan?" ask Naoko

"Yes." answered Marrie briefly.

"After forcing Naomi and Jester to stay in one house, pulling their car so they're always together, they threaten them a little bit by saying we know about their lies, stop Camilla and Selena from interrupting our plans by sending a flash drive containing a photo of Camilla to Luke and Harry. Besides waiting for their wedding in eleven months, did anyone miss Marrie Chan?" naoko asked, Marrie was forced to laugh at Naoko's long explanation at that time.

"Naoko. As a fellow mother, I need to know something from you" Marrie asked in a sad tone, hearing Marrie's words at the time made Naoko curious. Naoko folded her hands on the table and advanced her body ready to listen to Marrie, both of them looked at each other with a serious look.

"What have you been doing to Naomi all this time?" marrie asked firmly, Naoko was surprised by Marrie's question but tried to remain calm. Smile lines appeared on Naoko's lips, with Naoko's light laughter responding to Marrie's question.

"Whatchu mean? I don't understand your question" Naoko replied calmly, Marrie lowering her gaze to the table.

"I heard from Jester that Naomi is not the real Naomi. What makes you want Naomi to behave the way she is now? why do you have to do that and one more thing, I realize as a mother we always want the best for her child, but what I see and hear is shocking. What the hell is going on?" Marrie explained the meaning of the question, with a sigh Naoko prepared to answer Marrie's question.

"So far as what have you heard?" naoko asked still in a calm tone, hearing Naoko's question that did not sound angry made Marrie look back at Naoko in surprise.

"I thought you would be angry because I asked this" Marrie replied in surprise, but Naoko laughed at Marrie's words.

"No, I'm not angry just because of a question like that. It's true, Naomi who is not like that, sooner or later you will realize it" Naoko said with a little laugh, but Marrie was still surprised to see Naoko's response.

"Naoko, what really happened? why did you do that to Naomi?" asked Marrie in a feeling of wonder and confusion, Naoko turned her gaze to look at the sky - the restaurant sky was like she was remembering something.

"All I did for Evans, it all started when Evans found out your son was a boy. Evans was obsessed with having a daughter who would then be betrothed to your son, but given our hostile relationship, not making a difference with me, right? so I hope the child in my womb is a boy" Naoko laughed a little while explaining, Marrie smiled to hear Naoko laughing at that time.

"I went after Evans when we were in high school and even when I was in college I kept going after him, I loved him so much whatever Evans did to hurt me and keep me away from him. But in the end Evans managed to get, that's when I was determined that Evans was always happy when I was with me" Naoko continued the story and this time Naoko's smile disappeared, her eyes became sad looking at Marrie.

"Did Jester tell you about the old Naomi?" asked Naoko calmly

"In part, Jester said Naomi often fights with boys and climbing trees is her hobby" replied Marrie, Naoko laughed at Marrie's reply.

"Wouldn't a parent's obligation to a child be relieved when the child is married?" naoko asked with a smile, Marrie seemed to be aware of something when she heard Naoko's question.

"I feel very calm Naomi's future husband is Jester, a kind man who is sensitive to the feelings of others. Let Jester lead Naomi to let go of the shackles I gave her, if that moment comes I will do nothing because I believe, Jester will be better at educating Naomi than I am" Naoko replied, sounding happy, Marrie laughed embarrassedly at Naoko's words at the time.

"I feel defeated as a mother with you, however I may misunderstand and regard you as an evil mother" Marrie said in a regretful tone, but Naoko instead laughed at Marrie's speech at that time.

"I feel defeated by you, Jester grew up to be a good man. His loyalty, his principles, his mindset and the courage to sacrifice for others are more valuable than anything in this treacherous world, a kid from a rich family but doesn't make him a playboy. isn't that awesome? and you know, Jester up to this point hasn't touched Naomi at all" in a tone that Naoko seemed enthusiastic about saying, Marrie was surprised as if she didn't believe what Naoko said.

"really? how do you know?" asked Marrie who also sounded enthusiastic, Naoko laughed out loud before answering Marrie's question.

"I saw a folding mattress in the living room, it seemed like every day Jester and Naomi were not in one room. Though we've been hard - hard to find a house with one room, but they are too stubborn" replied Naoko sounding excited to tell it, Marrie suddenly upset to hear Naoko's story.

"Based on a stupid child, Naomi is so beautiful and graceful? if it's William or Evans, maybe their marriage will be faster" said Marrie in an annoyed tone, Naoko laughed in response to Marrie's tweet.

The conversation between mothers at night was warm, two people who had long been hostile but eventually became close friends because of their child's matchmaking. Their meeting ended with laughter that night.

The night, accompanied by heavy rain, turns bright on Monday morning, and Jester and Naomi begin their morning with a small commotion that they both create after breakfast. Yep.... Naomi was still obsessed and forced her will to change the appearance of Jester to follow the style she wanted, but again and again Jester always resigned to Naomi's actions. Then they rushed off together to the campus with their smiles full of enthusiasm, through the dense urban streets and interspersed with small talk.

Campus parking has always been the main goal of the two while there, parting ways and going to their respective classes is a common ritual for them. Arriving in one of the hallways of the campus Jester cross paths with Selena who looks new out of the business room, when turned Selena eyes with Jester. With a smile Jester was about to greet Selena, but Selena lowered her head and passed Jester just like that without a word.

Shocked to see Selena who arrived away like that, Jester turned around and pulled Selena's arm to stop walking. But at that time Selena immediately pulled his arm hard so that regardless of the hands of Jester, did not want to give up Jester also continued to try to stop Selena's steps.

"Hey.... Did you avoid me? or you don't want to talk to me because of the cafeteria?" tanya Jester tries to stop Selena, but Selena ignores him and keeps walking away from Jester.

"Selena... hey!!" Jester pulls back Selena's arm which makes her stop the step, Jester slightly runs around and directly confronts Selena but Selena still bows her head avoiding eye contact with Jester.

"Selena, I'm not mad at you for what happened in the cafeteria that made you look like this. But if you're mad at me please just tell me where my fault is and I'm sorry for that. I'll give you a reason you might be able to accept" Jester said in a panicked tone, Selena kept her head down and didn't look at Jester at all.

"Stay away from me, I don't want to see you anymore!!" with an angry voice Selena said it, Selena would walk away from the place again but Jester continued to block Selena's steps.

"But why? I don't want us to be like this, come on Selena" said Jester pleading with Selena, pushing Jester hard until Jester took a few steps back.

"Surge!! away from me!!" Selena was about to run at that moment but again - again Selena's right arm was grasped by Jester, with a bit of rough Jester pulled Selena so that she looked into Jester's eyes. Just as Selena's face looked at Jester with tears streaming down her cheeks, Jester was surprised to see a crying Selena.

"Ka... You why? who made you cry like this?" jester asked in a worried tone, Selena pushed back the Jester hard with her left hand but the Jester shook her head. Selena's cry grew more and more, slowly Jester removed her hand from Selena's right arm.

"I'm the one who made you this way..I'm stupidly still asking.." Jester's hands seemed to tremble.

"Please don't bother me anymore, brother..Go away from me and never appear again in front of me.. I will also leave your life... now everything was clearer for me. I could no longer bear it.." with her increasingly bitter cries Selena said it, Jester was jolted at Selena's words.
