The Success of the Jester Plan

At 11:00 pm, all participants who received an invitation from Jester were seen gathered in one of the meeting rooms inside the Gates Tower. Their faces looked tense due to getting an official call from one of the Gates family, although the Jester signed directly who invited them but the reputation of the Gates family affected their mentality.

Not to mention when the participants of this meeting received unpleasant treatment from employees who were still gathered in the Gates Tower lobby, as per the promise of the employees at that time that they will give yel-yel and show their support to Jester.

Not long after the door opened and Jester, Sarah and William entered the meeting room, behind them were also seen three sturdy men in black tuxedo suits. The three men then set up a projector, not long before the projector displayed a video call with Arthur that looks behind the screen. Seeing Arthur's presence even though just from behind the scenes made the participants more depressed, they glanced at each other even though they were still silent to each other.

"Aaa... I'm sorry Mr. Jester, what's this really for?" ask one of the meeting participants, but when Jester wants to answer Arthur's voice is heard.

"I'm here to see only the meeting" Arthur replied in a flat tone, hearing the answer that some members of the meeting looked relieved even though some were still showing tension.

"Well, thank you for your presence and willingness to come to fulfill my invitation. Here I will reveal our business plan for the next year" said Jester opened the meeting, suddenly there was someone who raised his hand.

"You can't do that Mr. Jester, before talking about the plan for the next year then you better solve your internal problems first" said one participant, the other participants started muttering to each other.

"That's right, our stocks have been at their worst for a decade. The next one-year plan will not be implemented if the main problems of the company are not immediately resolved" said other meeting members strengthening previous opinions, the murmur of the participants increasingly sounded filled the meeting room.

The atmosphere of the meeting was so serious and quite tense Jester led so calmly, Jester tried not to be intimidated by the objections of some of the meeting participants. Arthur from behind the scenes took Jester's leadership seriously.

"I see, business is cruel and if it opens up a little bit of our weakness to the public then it will be the weapon of our business opponents to attack" Jester said in a sad tone

"That's why I gathered all of you here" Jester chanted in a rather loud voice to stop the meeting participants from talking to each other by themselves, all eyes now on Jester who was standing staring at them.

Not long after the sound of one person's applause was heard and broke the silence, Jester lifted his body looking for the sound of the source of the applause.

"Mr Bowman." chirps Arthur called the name of the clapping man.

"Lord Gates, isn't this my victory day?" bowman asked Arthur, getting the question made Arthur scrunch his forehead.

"I deliberately supported this rebellion to get rid of your granddaughter so that our bet about a time the Gates family would bow its head to the Bowman family happened and I won after thirty more years I waited" bowman replied at that time, the answer made William stand up to refute Bowman's remarks but Jester gave his hand code to keep William quiet.

Talks between Arthur and Bowman who is a business rival with a dark history in his time attracted the attention of all those who attended the meeting. The world of men who are already senior in the business world as if reminiscing about their past, Jester and Sarah who witnessed the conversation between her grandfather and Mr. Bowman also pay close attention to the events at that time.

"Jester, the Bowman family is one of those big families that your grandfather subdued by coercion. We do not accept the treatment and demand revenge" Bowman told Jester, but suddenly Bowman turned his body around and walked out of the meeting room.

"For the investors and shareholders, with Mr. Bowman's support, you did not reach the target of bringing down President Director Jester. What are you guys gonna do?" william asked the participants, they all fell silent at William's question.

"I will still let you make a choice when you hear our business plan for the next year" said Jester in the middle of the meeting, all participants were staring at Jester.

"I want to get full support because my ideas and abilities are recognized, not because of pressure and threats. Papa, please support my choice" Jester said, looking at William, and William immediately sat back in his chair, folding both hands.

Jester began the meeting by revealing all his plans for the next year to maintain the value of stocks that continue to decline, question and answer were inevitable and among them seemed more enthusiastic to listen to Jester's plan. The longer they were in the meeting, the more enthusiastic they all were, but Jester's plan also received some interruptions and revisions from the members.

Jester accepts their opinion and makes it a matter of consideration that makes the members of the meeting happy, the atmosphere of the meeting became very active and lively until it made Arthur feel that there was no longer a place for him to join the meeting with the members. Arthur turned off the video call and none of them noticed it, only Sarah saw Arthur turn off the video call and she smiled at Jester's back.

The meeting lasted until the time showed at 16:00, the participants then disbanded with a sense of satisfaction with Jester's performance and had confidence that Jester could turn things around. Jester, William and Sarah gather in the president's office, all of them looking happy and toast the success of Jester turning things around.

"You're great, son!! papa is really proud of you!! Wahahaha." said William while patting Jester's back very hard.

Seeing the father and son in a physical fight in the president's office makes Sarah want to end their actions immediately. Sarah worries that employees will see their President Director act like a child and make her lose her authority.

"Jester, is there anything you forgot to finish immediately?" ask Sarah to Jester, for a moment Jester and William stop slamming each other in the room.

"Naomi ya.." murmured Jester answered Sarah's question, with a nod of Sarah's head responding to Jester's murmur.

"Right, how's Miss Naomi son doing?" william asked, Jester sighed for a moment then looked up at the sky - the sky of the room.

"I don't know, sometimes I see it well and sometimes I see it falling into darkness." replied Jester in a sad tone, the three of them were silent for a while.

"I promised my father to always take care of Naomi but if you look at her situation like this as if I can't keep my promise to you" Jester chirped the silence between them.

"Don't worry about something that hasn't happened, just go ahead without complaining and keep trying to keep your promise to Evans" William's dream, Jester turned to look at William and pensively for a moment and smiled.

Indeed, William is a figure who always gives spirit and motivation to Jester, that's why Jester is so loving to his father and their relationship is so closely intertwined well. Although the childish behavior of the two is difficult to remove, but that's how they as children and fathers who have a strong bond.

"Dad right, I'll go first!!" jester excitedly uttered it, Jester stood up and was about to walk out of the room.

"Naomi asked me to accompany her. She called me in the middle of the night and begged me to always help Jester under any circumstances, I don't know why she said that." replied Sarah, then William looked out the window glass in the room.
