It's All Over

The trial was over, and the sentencing decision given to the two men had already left Reynand satisfied. Now it's all done. His family problems have been resolved well. Hopefully this is the last issue of their lives. Bitter and hard that has been passed really make them mentally worse. True events drain energy, tears and blood.

Reynand brings Nara closer to her parents. They are now outside the court to return to their homes.

"Papa, forgive Rey who just solved this problem now. Rey is so stupid that she can't know what's really going on" Reynand said.

Mr. Abas nodded and smiled.After his mother Reynand who still stood faithfully holding her wheelchair.

"It's all gone, it's papa and grandpa's fault. But you guys are affected. Forgive me too" replied Abas.

"It's okay, the most important thing now is that we've regrouped" Reynand replied.

"We're back at our house?" bring Reynand. Looking at my mom and dad alternately

"Yes, of course. It is a house full of memories, papa has missed that house and all of you" replied Mr. Abas, gently rubbing his wife's hand.

Mama Reynand nodded and smiled. He was really happy, because now, what had been lost was back to what it used to be.

"Is this girl your future daughter-in-law?" asked Mr. Abas who now looked at Nara who had been behind Reynand.

Reynand smiled, she pulled Nara closer to her papa.

"Yes, it's Nara, who will be papa's son-in-law later" Reynand replied.

"You are good at choosing" replied Mr. Abas

Reynand immediately smiled proudly at that. He looked towards Nara who seemed to be bowing a little bit of her body.

"You are a good fit, hopefully you can accept Reynand's stubborn attitude" asked Mr. Abas.

Nara smiled and nodded.

"Hopefully you can also accept me well" Nara replied

"Of course, Reynand's choice is definitely the best" Abas said

"Nara is the best. He is even more able to understand and accept Reynand more than us" Reynand's mother said

"Tante was too complimentary" said Nara, looking embarrassed.

Reynand rubbed Nara's shoulder gently.

"You are the best" he said.

Nara only snorted a smile and shook her head slowly. Everything has become beautiful now, all the pain and anguish they have ever felt has now been changed with the light of life that will soon change.

May there be no more pain, pain and disappointment that they feel.

That afternoon, they all finally chose to go home to the main house of the Adiputra family. Reynand's parents go home first with Guntur, while Reynand has to drive Nara home. And Arya's back in the company, she doesn't want to linger there long, because Zelina doesn't go to court.

But when arriving midway, Reynand's phone on the dashboard of his car rang loudly.

Reynand frowned when she saw who contacted her was the police station.

What's up again??

"Who?" ask Nara

"Police office" replied Reynand. He slowed down his car and picked up the call.

His eyes blinked slowly with an unreadable face waut upon hearing the information he had just received.

Not long after Reynand received the call, even he only said a word to respond to the information provided by the police.

"What's Rey?" ask Nara.

Reynand turned towards Nara at a glance and refocused on her steering wheel.

"Cleo was found dead on the banks of the Ciliwung river, police suspecting that he committed suicide" Reynand said.

Nara's heart was like being stabbed by something hearing that, she was flabbergasted in disbelief at looking at Reynand.

"Cleo .... killed?" nara murmured, even her voice felt so heavy and deep.

Reynand breathed heavily.

"He had late-stage Nara cervical cancer. His entire assets and home have also been confiscated by the agency because he committed an offence. And his mother was also imprisoned and even sentenced to death. He was obviously frustrated and would rather die. Maybe it's better for her" Reynand said. Without even feeling guilty. Without pity and sadness. Because what Cleo had done, was already fatal enough. And Reynand was satisfied with this news. It sounds evil indeed, but that's Reynand Adiputra. He had no compassion for a villain like Cleo.

But not with Nara, she really felt sad to hear this news. However evil Cleo, but the girl was once her best friend, once defended her when she had no one, was one of the reasons she smiled. And Cleo, Cleo is evil because of the incitement of her mother. Cleo was a kind and innocent girl full of ambition, and it was the outpouring of pain that mistress Guzel had made her vindictive and heartless.

Nara couldn't bear to not cry, why is it like this. Why didn't Cleo fight for her life??? Why didn't he want to change for the better first??? Why doesn't he want to survive???

"Nara... Why are you crying??" ask Reynand. He rubbed Nara's shoulders which seemed to shake and slightly lowered his head.

"I don't have Rey. He was once my friend. He was once so close to me" Nara said as she sobbed sadly.

Reynand sighed for a moment, and occasionally turned to Nara.

"Nara. He has lied to us all about his illness. He's already throwing away your blood so hard. She's been supporting her mother holding papa. Nara, she's got her sentence now" Reynand said. Why is Nara so good?? Why would he have such a soft heart???

"But it's not like this she's gone Rey" Nara said.

Reynand rubbed Nara's shoulder again

"This is the way. And that's his choice" Reynand replied.

Nara cried again, she was really sad with the tragic fate of Cleo. This was true he never imagined.

Wanted to blame who, if all was Cleo's fault. Though he always hoped if Cleo could turn out well and admit his mistakes, but the reality is that the girl instead chose to end her life.

"Rey.." call Nara and wipe away her tears.

Reynand turned towards Nara at a glance

"For the last time, can we treat her properly. He has no one in this world anymore. I want him to get the last place he deserves. At least the reply because he has made us happy, even for a moment" Pinta Nara.

Reynand was silent for a moment, and after that she immediately nodded slowly and smiled faintly. Can't refuse Nara's request. Let's just say he appreciates the body of the girl, who once comforted him when he lost his grandfather. Even if it's just a fake.

And that day, after coming from the hospital and taking care of everything for Cleo's funeral, they were all in a public funeral.

It was dusk, and again drizzle came in the middle of it.

A drizzle that seemed to accompany Cleo's departure to her final resting place.

Nara's tears occasionally trickled as she looked at Cleo's body that had already been buried in the ground. He still did not expect that Cleo would leave this way.

At the end of his life, he had experienced something so sad. A karma that he had to accept because of all his treatment first.

Shouldn't Nara feel guilty for not being around while Cleo's down???

Or should he feel happy because Cleo finally felt what she had felt first???

Maybe if Nara wasn't strong on faith just yet, her fate would have been like Cleo by now. Dying in solitude and without people knowing. How sad.

Nara sowed the flower on the wet ground with a wistful, with Zelina who also sprinkled the flower over Cleo's navel.

Reynand just stood with her flat eyes. Her hand held a black umbrella to shade Nara. So did Arya who was on Zelina's side. The two men had no pity at all. Moreover, Reynand, even though he had already made Cleo mentally more destroyed, but there was absolutely nothing he regretted. This is his wish. Making Cleo slump and preferring to die.

Brutal right???

That's Reynand, who can turn into a demon if he feels insulted and harassed. The treatment of Cleo and her mother, was already inexcusable.

Cleo's life in the world is over. His punishment in the world has also been obtained. And now it is his time to account for all of them before God.

"We go home" asked Reynand.

Nara rubbed her face and nodded slowly.

He looked at Cleo's navel with sadness.

Lady Guzel cried out hysterically and raged like crazy upon hearing the news that Cleo had committed suicide. He really can't accept all of this. His life had already been ruined, and now he was getting some very sad news like this.

No, he didn't accept!

Why did everything become like this???

"No!!! My daughter Cleo... she is not dead .. she is not dead!!!!!!!!" madam Guzel shouted so echoes. Not long after, there were heartbreaking cries and laughter.
