Giving Up Among Overlooked Love

Apology

A cold and shocking splash of water instantly woke Reynand from his sleep. He gasped in surprise when he saw an old woman who owned this house already standing in front of him. And it made Reynand also immediately stand up while rubbing his face violently. His body felt faint from waking up in a hurry. His head also feels dizzy because it only sleeps a few minutes. Is it because he overslept?

"You are so stubborn" said Eyang the princess so sniffly, her hands she folded and looked at Reynand sharply. He thought that Reynand was going to leave his house, but it seemed that this man was indeed quite stubborn. Well, it was already visible from his face.

"Now may I find Nara's mistress" pinta Reynand directly. He really can't wait anymore. His heart was really broken

"Well what do you want to meet him? Aren't you two separated?" eyang asked the princess still with her haughty face.

Reynand nodded quickly.

"No, no parting happened. I don't want to part with her. So please allow me to meet with Nara. I beg madam" Reynand said again. His face was crumpled, even very clear. And a little bit of her it made the heart of the princess wail. But she knew that Nara had wanted a separation from this man.

"I want to apologize to Nara, I want to ask forgiveness from my wife" Reynand said with a downcast look. Even his body seemed to duck because of the burden of regret that he bore.

"Are you sure he'll forgive you?" ask Princess

Reynand immediately looked up, looking at Eyang princess with such a bitter look. He nodded back and breathed heavily.

"My mistake was pretty big. He deserves to be angry and hate me. But right now I just want to meet him. Apologizing for what I did. And if he can't forgive me, I won't force him. I know my mistakes cannot be forgiven easily" Reynand said

"Yes, you can't force it. You know for yourself how things are at the moment. The pain is severe enough, and if you add to the burden of his mind again, then it is the same that you will accelerate his death" replied Eyang princess. And somehow the words of this princess really feel piercing the heart of Reynand.

He nodded with a feeling so bitter and poignant, especially if given the condition of Nara who suffered from the deadly disease. Either Nara can heal or not, especially with her rare blood type. But Reynand always wished she could see Nara healed and happy again.

"He's in the back garden" said the princess who immediately turned around and preceded Reynand

Reynand smiled and immediately followed the footsteps of Princess Eyang. They did not enter the house but passed by the road beside the house. The yard is filled with various plants, there are several places such as green houses, but planted with various medicinal plants and spices. The yard is quite spacious and verdant, various trees, flowers and other plant plants make the scenery there look so beautiful and fresh.

The princess simply nodded and she immediately passed towards the green house with her personal servant who had apparently followed them since earlier. While Reynand walked towards a small gazebo in the middle of the garden owned by Princess Eyang.

His heart rumbled violently, even his footsteps felt so heavy, especially when he saw a woman who was still his wife sitting dreamy on the gazebo.

Reynand took a deep breath, her eyes glazed with glass in rhythm with her heart that was so devastating to Nara.

From behind he knew that Nara must have been so afflicted with her illness. The woman's body was so thin and withered, even though her beauty still never faded. There was just no more twinkle and bright aura emanating like before.

"Nara.." call Reynand in a voice that feels stuck in the throat. His breathing was stifled with an irregular heartbeat. Especially when Nara turned to her with a surprised look

For a few seconds they stared at each other. If Reynand's eyes were full of longing and regret, then Nara looked at her blankly and blankly. There was no longer the gaze of love and admiration like before. No more beautiful smiles that always welcome his arrival. No more Nara reaching for her hand to kiss. Nothing else, now all Reynand got was a blank eye and a huge disappointment. And that made Reynand really hurt

"You what?" ask Nara. Even the tone of his voice sounded cold and flat. Really, Reynand really ruined seeing this. How much does Nara harbor hatred for her???

"Nara.I.m." For whatever reason, it felt like Reynand's tongue was incapable of speaking. It was like a burden was hitting his heart. Is it worth it that he apologized to Nara after everything he did? Especially seeing Nara like this. Reynand was weak and helpless

"Have you come with our divorce papers?" ask Nara. He was still staring at Reynand's tangled face

"No, Nara, I don't want a divorce from you" Reynand replied. He immediately walked closer towards Nara, but stopped immediately as Nara raised her hand and looked at Reynand flatly

"All you have got. My love, my blood, my pain, even my company. Is that still not enough????" ask Nara again

Reynand nodded and fell back

"Nara's......"

"I'm sorry" Reynand said so slowly, but as hard as she could to endure the cries that she couldn't stand.

Nara smiled cynically but was also bitter

"Why apologize to me?" asked Nara who immediately turned her face when Reynand looked at her with eyes that were already watery and looked so.

"Nara. I'm so guilty of you. I beg you to allow me to make amends for all my mistakes" Reynand said

Nara nodded slowly. He lowered his legs and looked back at Reynand

"You always said I was a burden to you. You always say that I'm a problem that interferes with your life. And you have often asked me to leave" said Nara. He took his breath for a moment and smiled looking at Reynand who was still looking at him with sadness and destruction

"Rey. Shouldn't you be happy???" ask Nara

Reynand nodded weakly. His head was down, even his burly shoulders were also as if he was no longer able to stand upright and stand haughty as ever. All of Nara's words are true. She always asks Nara to leave, she always says if Nara is the cause of her problems. But after Nara left, her heart betrayed her, she really regretted everything. Everything she did was just a cover up if she had loved Anara.

"Nara. I used to not understand the love you gave me. I've always hurt you with all my treatment. But.your departure has opened my heart, if it turns out I already love you" said Reynand looking at Nara who was still silent even without the slightest expression.

Yeah, what he should feel for now. Happy with that expression? I don't think so, even now he doesn't want anything anymore. Especially with the sweet words that are too late.

"Isn't your love just for Cleo?" ask Nara

"No, I've been in love with you since our meeting eleven years ago" Reynand replied quickly

"Love is what you mean Rey. Does love really have to hurt?" nara asked as she descended slowly from the top of the gazebo. He grabbed a wheelchair not far from where he was sitting

"Nara. I'm really sorry" Reynand said. But Nara just shook her head and ignored her

"Go home, and sign the letter. We're done by the end of October on that day" Nara said. He wanted to grab his wheelchair, but Reynand grabbed Nara's leg and knelt before him. Nara was so surprised, yet she just put on a flat face looking at Reynand

"I beg you, I'm sorry Nara. Forgive me.."please ask Reynand so fondly.

"I'm really sorry. Please forgive all my stupidity. Let me fix everything" Reynand said. He looked at Nara with a gaze so shattered and parched, even a water drool had already descended soaking up his handsome face that it was no longer dazzling

Nara shook her head and tried to let go of her legs, yet Reynand still hugged those thin legs so weakly and emotionally

"Give me a chance to fix all of Nara's.I beg you" Reynand still looked at Nara who had now turned her face away. He had never expected that this haughty master would be able to kneel down on his feet with such a shattered look. But really, to return Nara is not ready, especially with his current circumstances.

"I've offered you opportunities many times Rey" Nara said without looking at Reynand

"My patience, my sincerity, my love and my smile all you ignore. At least you never saw me" Nara said again. Hearing that Reynand immediately bowed painfully

"Two years of my time to convince you that I love you. Even though you reciprocated in pain, but I always tried to stay and be the best. But what did I get? For even a little smile from you I have never met. My love is not that strong, Rey. I told you, eleven years I love you" Nara said with a grievous smile

Reynand's hands were immediately released and clasped each other on the ground. His sobs started to sound so painful. But with all her heart, Nara did not want to see her again.

"I gave up Rey" Nara said one last time

"Nara.." call Reynand. He looked up at Nara with a desperate headband

"I beg you.I'm sorry" she was so slow and so poignant.

"I've forgiven you, you've never been wrong. I was the one who forced my way into your life" Nara replied

"Please, please don't do this. Please tell me how I can make up for all my mistakes with you. It hurts Nara..... This regret really makes me helpless" Reynand said again

Nara turned her head towards him, looking at the crying Reynand stuck under her feet

"Do you know the pain you've given me?" ask Nara anyway

"I'm sorry. If you want, you can kill me to let go of this guilt. I'm sorry Nara, so sorry" Reynand said. Not knowing anymore how he should apologize to Nara, all of her feels difficult, and Nara's hatred is ingrained

"If I could, I'd have done it a long time ago. I always asked God to take my life. But in fact I was still left alive until this very moment. You know, how much it hurts to survive when you want to die" Nara looked at Reynand with feelings

"Nara..." said Reynand, who was bowed.

"Let's go" someone's voice made Reynand gasp. It turns out that Arya came and took over Nara's wheelchair

Nara nodded and sat down in her wheelchair, but Reynand again grabbed her legs still on her knees

"Nara... Please give me one more chance" Reynand said in hope.

"I've forgiven you, but to give you a chance I can't" Nara replied

"Nara. I cannot live without you" Reynand said again

"We're leaving" Nara asked Arya. Arya nodded and pulled back Nara's wheelchair. He was just silent and did not want to interfere despite wanting to beat Reynand's nose at the moment

"Nara.." call Reynand, but Nara ignores him. Reynand wanted to hold back but he could not force it, so he was forced to release Nara who was taken away by Arya.

Reynand moves on and follows Arya who takes Nara

"Nara. I will not force you to forgive me. But I still don't want to part with you. I will wait until you can accept me again" said Reynand, who continues to follow Nara

"Go Rey" expel Nara

"No. I'll stay here with you" Reynand replied

"Master, please don't force it" said Arya who looked at Reynand sharply. Reynand immediately stopped her steps and looked sadly at Arya who brought Nara back into the house. He did not dare to enter, he was afraid of being evicted by the owner of this house. After all if he forced, he was afraid that Nara would hate him even more.

Reynand fell in a garden suburb. Rubbing his face violently, his breathing was really heavy and tight. The oxygen in this world is no longer left for him.

Slowly, yeah. Slowly Reynand will find Nara's forgiveness and prove that she really loves Nara.

Even though he knows it's hard, he'll keep trying. Such a great mistake will not be easily forgiven or accepted.

If Nara can last for two years in search of her love, why can't Reynand do that??? Nara's pain, she had to feel, even though it was not comparable to what Nara felt.
