Giving Up Among Overlooked Love

Reynand's eyes looked at the street in front of her blankly. Geirimis rain that fell in the afternoon did not stop his steps to return to the city. Yes, today Reynand decided to return to the capital. He'll fix everything, he'll make amends to Anara. Although he does not know in what way, but whatever he will do for the sake of fighting for Anara back.

The car that Reynand was driving had arrived in front of his minimalist home. A house with a million memories with Anara. His real home makes Reynand's guilt grow every day. In this house he always incised the wounds of the heart and physicality of the girl. In this house Reynand always makes Nara cry every day. And in this house Reynand always let Nara in her solitude.

Reynand's footsteps were so shaky and lethargic. This house looks very quiet and dark because it is night. But inside the house the lights look turned on. It had been a few days that she had not come home, and her impression still felt the same as when she had come home to see Nara before.

Yeah, without Reynand realizing it, he used to come home every time he felt pressured outside. And Nara is where she's back. Nara is where she takes out all the burdens and problems of her life, despite her way by hurting Nara repeatedly.

Reynand's hand grabbed the door handle and opened it slowly. If there was usually a smile Nara welcomed him, then now only the silence and voidness she got. Reynand's heart was again sliced. If he had realized who Nara was from the beginning, it wouldn't have been this way. If only from the beginning he knew Cleo was lying, then he would never hurt Nara. And if only he were not stupid and complacent with Cleo's sweet persuasion, he would not feel any remorse that seemed to gnaw at this heart and soul. Reynand no longer cared about the property and power that had been lost and taken by force. But Reynand is not willing if Nara also goes from her life. Reynand can't, Nara is someone she's longed for a long time, but her own stupidity can't realize that.

The lights in the middle room already looked dark, maybe Zelina and her mama had fallen asleep because the day was almost midnight. And Reynand decided to go into the room to rest her body.

"Why not sleep?" ask Princess. He walked over to Nara and sat down beside her.

Nara smiled faintly and shook her head

"Not yet sleepy Eyang" replied Nara

The princess snorted a smile and handed the cup she held to Nara

"Drink" said Princess Eyang and Nara immediately drank it without refusing. The princess sighed softly. She looked at Nara's face, which was like she no longer had the spirit to live. And actually this will be a little difficult for the treatment that Nara will receive.

"Think of your bloated husband?" eyang asked the princess arrived, making Nara almost choke on the ginger water

"Curl?" mummified Nara. The language of this princess is sometimes very funny. He had always liked to talk about people, and the usual one he called like that was Arya, and now it was Reynand.

Nara simply smiled faintly and placed her tea on the table. He looked out the window with a blank look as usual

"In the past, my granddaughter also slept in this room" said the princess made Nara turn her head back towards her.

"No, he's my brother's grandson. Her name is Naina" replied Princess Eyang. Nara was still silent and looked at the princess who was like her about to tell something, and maybe it was enough to make Nara's heart slightly shift from Reynand.

"He also had cancer, even his age was so young at that time. 20 years" said the princess again

"Cancer?" muttered Nara and the princess immediately nodded slowly

"Third-stage brain cancer" replied Eyang Putri and Nara was immediately stunned to hear her. Isn't cancer worse than kidney cancer? Yes, although the consequences are also the same as referring to death.

"Then.he had a lover. Just like Reynand, handsome and powerful" said the princess

"Nara.." called Eyang the princess as she gently rubbed Nara's hand, making Nara turn to him again.

Nara smiled faintly and nodded

"I've never blamed His destiny. It's just that sometimes I feel tired" Nara replied

And can Eyang princess see, there is a lot of pain, destruction, and disappointment that is so great in the heart of this girl, but it is not denied, she also still harbors a love that is so great behind her disappointment. And that's what makes Nara weak and wants to give up

"Do you really want to part with her?" ask Princess

Nara ducked down and nodded slowly, but once again, the princess saw the doubt there

"There's nothing more to defend" Nara murmured

"If you let go of her then you will lose her and her love" replied the princess

Nara looked at the princess with watery eyes, but she turned her face back out the window

"I've decided to go Eyang. If with his departure I made him aware of his feelings, wouldn't we be the same?" nara

The princess immediately snorted a smile

"You want to make him feel what you feel?" guess the princess

Nara was just silent and her eyeballs were getting inundated by the clear liquid that increasingly wanted to melt. It hurts a lot to remember Reynand's treatment. But actually Nara also knows if the man is already sorry, even though he is not sure about the words Reynand love. But to come back, Nara was not really ready. Why is it if they part with each other's love. Isn't that fair????

"The best revenge exists in two ways Nara" said Princess Eyang

"The first is to make yourself better and happier without him. And the second is to take it back and make it better"

"You can choose one of them" said Princess Eyang

"Nothing is good in my opinion" Nara replied making the princess immediately snort a smile
