Once upon a time there lived a poor grandfather with his young son. His wife is old enough to die. Grandpa mourns the fate of his young son. He felt that his life would not be old enough anymore but had nothing to pass on to his son other than the knowledge derived from his teacher.
Finally, the grandfather called his son. “Son, come here father will bequeath knowledge to you. Hail the aji I will teach you. These aji will offer you glory. The voice of the aji-aji was: Hi Hi I Already Know.” The grandfather then explained that he felt that he would not be old enough to live in the world again. Heard his father's words. The boy was crying.
Three days later, my grandfather died. His son is sad because he is now an orphan. To eliminate the sadness, the child then decided to migrate to the capital of the government. Along the way, he continued to prepare aides taught by his father. He continued to do his father's advice even though he did not know the usefulness of the aji. He finally managed to arrive at the royal capital.
Upon arrival at the royal capital, he felt very tired and his stomach felt hungry. Finally he tried asking for food and drinks to anyone he met but no one gave him cooking drinks. Feeling very tired, the child then sat resting in front of a barber who was shaving someone. Unbeknownst to him, the barber worked together to shave the king. Feeling hungry, thirsty and tired, the child then remembered the wisdom of his father. He then read out the aji-aji “Hai Hi I Already Know.”
Hearing the words of the boy the exclusive handyman trembled, his face suddenly pale. The barber then prostrated himself before the king and begged for mercy. “Even your king, geez.”
“What are you begging for mercy?” king astonishment.
“Please my lord king. Servants are only a man. Patih wanted to be king and told his servant to kill the king. But it seems that the little boy knew of this murder plot.” the barber said as he pointed at the little boy. Actually, the child does not know about the murder plan because he only prepares aides taught by his father.
The king was shocked to hear the enrichment of the barber. The palace guards immediately secured the barber into the prison. The king then called the little boy to thank him. “Thank you son, you have saved my life. In return, I'll give you a lot of gifts.” Not old enough then the Patih was rounded up and given the execution of the head behead. Thus the East Java folklore about a child who obeys the wisdom of his parents.
