Deer And Si Kulomang

In a forest in the Aru Islands, there lived a group of animals. They live side by side in harmony and peace. However, lately something has been bothering them, namely the arrogance of a group of deer who feel themselves as the most powerful animals just because they are able to run fast. At that time, no other animal could match their speed.

The more days, their arrogance becomes more and more so. They just keep taking other animals running and mocking them. Over time, they also became greedy. Deer not only challenge other animals to race, they also confiscate the residence of animals that lost in the race. Finally, other animals have no place to live. Instead, the deer became the ruler of the forest.

Meanwhile, not far from the forest, which is on the edge of Aru Island, live a group of sea slugs. Their house is beautiful and the air is fresh. Although the sea slugs that live there are quite a lot, they are loyal to each other. The group of deer who know the region, want to master it. As usual, the deer leader intended to invite sea slugs to race against him.In his heart he laughed, “Isn't the snail running very slow? I will beat them easily,” thought. Then he met the leader of the Sea Snail named Kulomang. Unexpectedly, Kulomang accepted his challenge. “Alright if that's what you want. If you win, take this territory of ours,” replied Kulomang steady.

Actually the deer was surprised to hear Kulomang's reply, but he laughed inwardly.

“Hihihi.. really don't know yourself. How dare he risk his territory. Let's see tomorrow.” Deer do not know, although Sea slugs run very slowly, they have a clever sense.

The next day, the deer leader was ready at the match venue. The other deer came along to encourage. Kulomang came alone, no friends accompanied him.

“Hey, where are your friends?” ask the astonished deer.

“That's not important, the important thing is to beat me and this region will be yours,” replied Kulomang casually.

Quietly, Kulomang had arranged a strategy with his friends. He actually brought ten of his friends, but they hid to listen to the rules of the game. After hearing everything, the ten sea slugs placed themselves at their designated rest stop.

The deer ran away relaxed. He thought, what is it for? Sea snails run very slowly. Kulomang ran quietly. Deer mocked him “Give up, than you waste energy. You can't win.”

Kulomang just smiled. Then the deer ran away leaving him. Unfeeling, the deer has arrived at the first stop. He looked back and smiled, “Surely the snail is still far behind,”

“Who said I was still behind?” suddenly I heard Kulomang's reply. Actually it was not Kulomang, but his friend who was waiting at the first stop. The deer was shocked to death, he wondered how Kulomang could have preceded him?

Not to be outdone, he dashed towards the second stop. “Hehe... This time he must have lost,” taunted the deer while looking back again. But what's going on? Suddenly Kulomang had already walked in front of him and headed to the third stop.

“I am in front of you deer,” shouted Kulomang. Struck deer. He ran again as fast as possible, he did not want to lose to Kulomang. But every time he arrived at the stop, Kulomang was always in front of him.

The deer was exhausted, yet he continued to run fast. Finally he arrived at the last stop. His eyes widened when he saw Kulomang waiting for him. Due to exhaustion, the deer fell down. He was embarrassed, especially apparently the other animals also watched the match.

They laughed mocking the deer, “Hei the arrogant deer, now you realize, you are not the fastest animal. This slow snail is faster than you.” The deer is very shy, apparently he is not the greatest animal. Likewise with his friends, they are no longer arrogant.

They even returned the territories captured from other animals. From then on, the situation in the forest returned to peace as it used to be. Surely not a single animal leaked the secrets of Kulomang to the deer..
