Crocodile Pirate

Once upon a time, the Bones Onion River was very famous for its cultural ferocity. Every fisherman who passes through the river must be careful. Similarly, residents who often bathe and wash on the river bank. According to the story, many humans have just disappeared without leaving a trace at all.

One day, the horrible incident happened again. A beautiful girl named Aminah suddenly disappeared while washing on the banks of the river. Surprisingly, although residents have been looking for days by going down the river bank, but did not find it. The girl disappeared without leaving a trace. It looks like it has been swallowed by the earth. Residents also stopped searching, because they thought that Aminah had been eaten by crocodiles. Meanwhile, in a place at the bottom of the river looks a girl rolled limp. It was Aminah. He just woke up from his stupor.

“Dad, Mom, where am I? aminah muttered half-consciously calling her parents.

With all his might, Aminah woke up. How surprised he was when he realized that he was in a cave. Even more surprising, when he saw the walls of the cave were filled with priceless treasures. There are gems, gold, diamonds, and beautiful clothes that emit a glittering light in the light of torches attached to the walls of the cave.

“Hai, Beautiful girl! Don't be afraid. These things are mine.”

“You who? You're a crocodile, but why speak like a human?” aminah asked with fear.

“Quiet, Beautiful girl! I'm a crocodile, but I'm actually human like you. My form can turn into a human when the full moon arrives,” said the Crocodile.

“Why did your form turn into a crocodile?” aminah asked to know.

“Then, I was cursed for my evil deeds. My name used to be Somad, the master robber in the Bones Onion River. I always took possession of every merchant's property that sailed this river. All the results of my robbery I kept in this cave,” explained the Crocodile.

“Then, what if you are hungry? Where do you get food?” ask Aminah.

“If I need food, the treasure I sell a little at the village market on the banks of the Bones Onion River when the full moon arrives. Not a single resident knew that I was a crocodile. Nor did they know that I had built the tunnel behind this cave. The tunnel connects this cave with the village,” said the Crocodile.

Without realizing it, the Crocodile Pirate had opened the secret of the cave where he lived. It was not wasted by Aminah. Carefully, he has listened and will always remember all the valuable information, so that one day he can escape from the cave.

“Hai, Beautiful Girl! What's your name?” ask the Crocodile.

“My name is Aminah. I live in a hamlet on the banks of the Bones Onion River,” replied Aminah.

“Ohai, Crocodile! May I ask you?” ask Aminah

“What's up, Aminah? Say!” answer the Crocodile.

“Know, Aminah! I brought you to this place and didn't prey on you, because I like you. You are a beautiful and gentle girl. Will you stay with me in this cave?” ask the Crocodile.

Hearing the crocodile's question, Aminah became nervous. For a moment, he was silent and pensive.

“Ma... sorry, Crocodile! I can't stay with you. My parents will definitely be looking for me,” Aminah replied refusing her.

In order for Aminah to stay with him, the crocodile promised to give her a gift of jewelry.

“If you are willing to stay with me, I will give you all the treasures that are in this cave. However, if you refuse, then I will prey on you,” Threatened the Crocodile.

Aminah was shocked to hear the threat of the Crocodile. But that didn't make him desperate. For a moment he thought of finding a way so that he could survive from the Crocodile's safest.

“Alright, Crocodile! I am willing to stay with you here,” replied Aminah agreeing.

Apparently, Aminah received the Crocodile's request to avoid the Crocodile's acana, in addition to waiting for the right time to escape from the cave.

Finally, Aminah lived with the Crocodile Pirate in the cave. Every day the Crocodile gave her beautiful and luxurious jewelry. Her motley body was covered by clothes made of silk cloth. His hands and neck were filled with diamond-eyed gold jewelry.

One day, the Crocodile Pirate was a little off guard. He fell asleep and left the cave door open. Seeing that situation, Aminah did not want to waste the opportunity to escape.

“Wah, it's a good chance to get out of here,” Aminah said inwardly.

Fortunately Aminah had recorded in her mind about the story of the Crocodile that there was a tunnel connecting the cave with a village on the banks of the Bones Bawang River. Very carefully, Aminah came out while tiptoeing. He had not had time to think about bringing the property of the Crocodile, except the clothes and jewelry that are still attached to his body.

After a while of searching, Aminah found a narrow tunnel behind the cave and immediately searched it. Not long after, not far from the front was visible sunlight radiating into the tunnel. It indicated that he would soon arrive at the mouth of the tunnel. With a sense of anxiety, he continued to explore the tunnel and occasionally looked back, because he was worried that the Crocodile Pirate woke up and kneeled him. When he reached the mouth of the tunnel, he saw in front of him a dense forest. How happy Aminah, because it survived the threat of Crocodile Pirate.

“Thank God, I have survived the threat of the Crocodile Pirate,” Aminah give thanks.

After that, Aminah immediately went through the dense forest. After some long walks, he meets a villager who is looking for rattan.

“Hai, Child Girl! You who? Why are you in the middle of this forest all by yourself?” ask the villagers.

“I Aminah, Sir!” reply Aminah.

After that, Aminah also recounted all the events she had experienced until she was in the forest. Because of his pity, the villagers also drove Aminah back to her hometown. Once at his house, Aminah also gave the villagers a gift of some jewelry attached to his body as a thank you.

Finally, Aminah was safe to return to her hometown. All the people in his village greeted him with joy. He also recounted all the events that had happened to his parents and all the people in his village.
