Fear of Marriage

Blind jealous

After collecting fragments of her previously fractured heart, Karenina came out of the toilet. The hunger that had plagued him was no longer felt at all. Now there is only a sense of annoyance, sadness, curiosity that bothers him more.

‘There's no way William's messing with me, he's already introduced me to his parents and we're getting married. There's no way he's also playing his parents’.

Then her steps came to a halt when she saw Ririn just standing from the chair she had been sitting next to William. Karenina's heart is again turbulent to see Ririn smile even though William looks only focused on the screen of his phone.  

Karenina took a quick step, William who was still busy with his cellphone screen was surprised to see Karenina taking her bag that was on the table.

“Why?” ask William “Your drink is almost cold, sit down and finish your meal”, he said firmly like an order. Karenina whose frustration had reached the crown rolled her eyes irritated. He ignored William's words and abandoned the man.

William was stunned for a moment, then immediately ran after Karenina.

“You why, you said you were hungry and now you're just leaving. You've seen what until you're this sorry?”.

Karenina's breathing rose and fell rapidly, this time it seemed like she was really angry.

“Nina”, softly William called him. “Did you meet Ririn earlier”, Karenina's eyeballs are round again.

“So her name is Ririn”

“True you met him, what did he tell you until you were this angry?” Karenina took off her wrist that William held,.

“She didn't say anything” William's forehead wrinkled. “On the screen of his phone there is a picture of you who again hug him” he said with tears that had almost dripped.

“If you still have a relationship with him, why approach me. Why make me go too far in your life. You even want to marry me”, she said still trying to hold back her tears.

William let out a rough breath, it seemed like he was the one who looked even more annoyed. William pulled Karenina's hand back into the cafe, he continued to pull it no matter Karenina who continued to rebel to let go of her hand.

“Please get rid of all this, and bring me another still hot”, he told the cafe waiter.

‘Crazy basis, where maybe I can swallow food right now. I just want to go far away so I can't see you again’.

They were still silent, William still did not want to explain anything that made Karenina feel more hurt. The waiter brought drinks and cakes like the one before. He glanced at Karenina whose eyes were already watering, then glanced at William who looked indifferent to Karenina.

“Spend everything I just explained to you”, William said firmly.

“I'm not hungry”, replied Karenina softly. Looks like he's really hurt. “You also don't need to explain anything to me”.

“Nina, you don't want to see me angry at the sneer. So finish your food now”.

‘Damn it, why am I even afraid of the solids now. The food I definitely can't swallow, but if he's really angry I'm also the one who bothered. But I should have been the one who was more angry.’.

“Nina..”

“Iya, yes. I ate”. Karenina was forced to eat, she could not even enjoy the best cake in the cafe. The hot chocolate taste that looks so tempting feels bland through his throat.

William occasionally glanced at her, making sure Karenina put all the food and drink into her mouth even by force.

The man is very good at managing his emotions. When Karenina ran away in frustration, she knew that Ririn must have done something to her earlier. William still looks calm and still shows his arrogance even though in his heart he really wants to calm Karenina and embrace her.

‘Based on stupid women, you might think I still have a relationship with my past. Just so you know, just look at it I'm not welcome.

William's hard-earned anger he arranged began to subside. He rubbed the remaining chocolate stuck to Karenina's lips with his finger. While Karenina turned her face away with pouting lips as her eyes looked at both of William's eyeballs. William smiled.

“Listen well to Karenina”, William held onto Karenina's chin and turned the woman's face to look at it.

“I don't have any relationship with the woman you saw, me and her.”.

“But I saw on her phone you hugged her, happy again” William exhaled in frustration, it seems like Karenina does not want to solve this problem quickly.

“Then I will meet him and delete all my still existing photos of him”

“You want to meet him?” Karenina was re-ignited with emotion, while William was still calmly serving the drama Karenina.

“Isn't it just because there's a picture of me on her phone that makes you blind jealous like this?”

“Who is jealous blind, I just feel being played”, the voice of Karenina muai rising makes some cafe visitors turn towards them.

“Put down your voice, you want to be a free spectacle here”,

“You evil”, Karenina hits William's shoulder hard enough then leaves the man. William could only shake his head. He left some banknotes on the table and ran after the woman who was angry with him.

William manages to capture Karenina and forcibly withdraws the woman. She put Karenina in the car, put her seatbelt on and got into the car.

“Nina, don't be like a child. You clearly know that I only have a woman in my life, no I have three”, Karenina glared sharply at William.

“I mean those three women, Mother, Meisya and you”. Karenina turned her eyes back to the crowded highway in front of her.

“Then we meet him together, let you just delete all the photos that still exist on the woman”.

“You want me to see all your mess photos with him”. William ruffled his hair in frustration, it seemed like he was better off facing a client who was hard to conquer than facing the jealousy of a Karenina.

“Then what should I do?” william said softly after marginalizing his car. They may end up crashing or getting hit if William still drives his car while arguing.

“You really don't have anything to do with him?” Karenina looked in Willam's eyes, but she couldn't really guess the slightest bit of sincerity and honesty that emanated clearly from the way William looked at her.

William shook his head, “I and he have been over for a very long time and there is no appaun left between me and dia”, explained William.

“Bohong”, William frowned. Karenina who was he fikikr had started to soften and understand back to fashion at the beginning of their debate.

“Fotomu and him, that's what's left”. William is completely out of words.

‘I forgot you were stupid and annoying. Until whenever you will always bring it up, right?’. William took a deep breath and drove back to his car. It seems like today's plan to get Karenina to try on some wedding dresses with Pearl has to be pushed back until her brain can think clearly.
