Fear of Marriage
William is sick

Mr. Luis said that Mr. William could not be contacted, his secretary said that since the morning Mr. William had no news at all. Ryan who was replacing her followed the meeting to contact Karenina for her help.

“Nona, please go to Mr. William's apartment and see him. Last morning when I picked her up she was feverish, I couldn't accompany her because there was an important meeting” Ryan said from the other end of the phone.

“Why don't you contact her parents” reply Karenina “I'm also busy”. Further again.

“If Mr. William knows I contacted his parents, I can stay the name, Nona” heard a sigh from Karenina. “Baik” replied then.

At lunch, Karenina left her job, she had asked Rendra for permission. Of course he said that he was not feeling well. Where might he say he wants to see William who he says is sick.

Karenina arrives in front of William's apartment unit, then presses the numbers that Ryan had told her before.

‘Don't blame me for signing in without permission, just blame your assistant it’.

Karenina opens the door to William's room, she finds him asleep under the covers. Karenina placed the back of her hand on William's forehead, then her eyes were perfectly rounded.

“Crazy, you're like burn”, Karenina took a small basin and filled it with cold water, she took a small towel in the bathroom and started to express William. He ran out of the apartment looking for a pharmacy but nothing, then finally to the supermaket and look for any drugs that could to bring down the fever.

After drinking the medicine on William, Karenina replaced the water in the basin with a new one, she put the wet cloth back on William's forehead.

“You can be sick too yes, I think you are a god it turns out you are a normal human too”, Karenina chuckles to herself with her words. He was already relieved that William's fever had started to drop.

“You must not have eaten, I cooked porridge for you first yah”, he said that is unlikely to get a response from William who either slept or fainted. Karenina leaves William with a wet towel still on the man's forehead.

Karenina had never used the equipment in the kitchen set before, but she quickly learned it. He started cooking for William when he woke up. He also cooked for himself, using the ingredients in William's refrigerator without asking for permission.

“Later William rampaged if he saw his kitchen as it was finished by storm”, Karenina bobbing head to see William's kitchen was in a mess, William, whereas all he cooked was porridge and fried chicken that he sauteed with potatoes and carrots. He then began to wash the equipment he was wearing, clean the litter scattered and sweep also mopped the dirty floor used oil splashes.

After the kitchen was clean again, he went back into the room and saw William's condition. The man was still sleeping, Karenina took the wet cloth on her forehead, soaked it back into the basin and then put it on again after squeezing it.

Karenina pulled up the chair and sat by William's bedside, she looked at the sleeping face, her hands outstretched through every inch of that pure white face.

‘Saktun he still looks handsome’.

The sunlight out there had already begun to dim, golden clouds adorning the twilight sky. A beautiful view enjoyed from the window of the apartment. William slowly opened his eyes, he fumbled at his wet forehead. He picked up the cloth, then looked next to it. Karenina fell asleep with her head right next to William.

There was a warm feeling of snaking into her heart seeing Karenina fall asleep beside her, she was sure Karenina who had already stuck the wet cloth on her forehead. He got up and picked up Karenina intending to move her on the bed, but the woman jumped up as she felt a hand holding her.

“Will, are you awake?” tanyanya rubbed her eyes.

“You fell asleep while taking care of the sick, how about something happen to me while you were sleeping last”. It seemed like the man had regained his energy, he pulled the corner of his lips when he saw Karenina's guilty face.

“Maaf”, said Karenina feeling guilty. William chuckled and stroked his hair.

“How can you be here?”

“Why, you can come anytime kari” Karenina clucked “Who wants to come here”.

“I don't know who you're calling, you have a high fever and I'm freaking out. I wanted to call your parents but I didn't have their phone number, I wanted to call a doctor but there's no doctor I know, so I went outside to look for a pharmacy… hehee” he chuckled before continuing his story.

“But I also did not see any dispensaries around here, so I bought medicine as long as it is important to bring down the fever”, he said continuing his laughter, William joined in laughing with him, he said, not because he heard the story, but because he heard the laughter.

“The medicine box is inside situ”, said William pointing at the nightstand drawer with his eyes. Karenina slicked her shoulders.

“I also cook for you”

“Really”, William again felt there was warmth running through his heart. “You eat first, keep taking medicine again”. Karenina got up from her seat to the kitchen. He warmed the porridge he had just cooked. He remembered that William did not like cold food.

“Ini”, Karenina thrust the bowl she had covered the plate underneath. William looked at the bowl and saw Karenina.

“But I”, he said spoiledly. Karenina sneered and sat back down and began to feed William. William's forehead shriveled as a spoonful of porridge entered his mouth.

“What are you cooking” he said with his face showing that he did not like the porridge.

“Pur”, replied Karenina.

“You don't add broth”, he holds a bowl looking at its contents “No slices of meat or celery leaves, you can cook or not” he said with annoyance, don't know yourself.

“It's ordinary porridge, don't see the taste. I make it sincerely and lovingly, if you don't want to eat I'll throw it away and make a new”, hear Karenina say romantic words, love, William took the bowl he forgot his bland taste and started eating his porridge voraciously.

Karenina rounded her eyes, she could not believe William would finish his porridge after he had already dyed her. He took an empty bowl from William's hand and gave him the water he had prepared.

“I save this first ya” he said. After storing the empty bowl in the sink, Karenina returned to William's room but she already did not find the man on the bed. Karenina then went back to the kitchen and ate the food she had cooked earlier, she had not eaten since lunch.

After eating, Karenina washed her dirty dishes and William returned to William's room to see the man's condition. William was out of his dressing room, he looked fresher.

“You've done well sajak” Karenina put the back of her hand on William's forehead, still warm apparently.

“Have taken medicine?” the question again, William shook his head, “I open this ya”, Karenina opened the nightstand drawer after William nodded. He took the medicine box and looked for the fever medicine in it. William took the medicine from Karenina's hand and took it.

“You're not sultry with your clothes?” Karenina saw herself, she was still wearing her office clothes.

“If you are better, I want to go home”, he said. William held his head, he lay down and pulled his blanket up to his chest.

“I feel a little dizzy, my fever may also go up again later tonight.did you leave me alone”. Karenina was silent for a moment, she then sighed and sat down beside William.

“Call Mr. Sebastian and Mrs Pearl alone, or your sister who the other day walks with you”, he said gently trying to persuade William. The man shook his head, he clasped Karenina's hand.

“I just want to be accompanied by you”, he said (Modus). The innocent and foolish Karenia agreed after making an offer that William could not refuse.
