William is home

Karenina walked over, she lowered her head as she sat down with the Pearl. He looked alternately at his two friends, then glued to both of Merry's eyes as if asking what happened but Merry instead sniffed his shoulders cuefully.

“A-I entered the room first”, he said. But not yet Karenina stepped Pearl has already opened her voice.

“So you contracted here”, Mutiara said without looking at her. Merry and Rara stood up and went into their own rooms, the two of his curse friends also did not want to see him who was screaming begging not to be left with Pearl.

Karenina took her breath, she tried as calmly as possible to face the Pearl. “You're here to see me?”  karenina asked back.

“No, I just want to see what your life is like. And after I see I am more sure that you are not worthy of my child”.

Karenina took her breath again, Pearl glanced at her at a glance. She suddenly felt guilty seeing Karenina with her tired face.

“I go first, but you do not be happy first because we will definitely see you again”. Pearls do not feel the heart to continue the snort. He then left before saying the words he had designed since last night.

After Pearl died, Karenina threw herself onto the sofa. He seemed to have no energy even to just walk into his room. Karenina closed her eyes and rested her head on the back of the sofa, then she remembered Halim who might come to her in that house soon.

“MER, RA” shouted Karenina calling her two friends. Merry and Rara who heard Karenina yell rushed towards the source of the sound.

“You why, Nin”, Rara who first arrived in the room Karenina was surprised to see Karenina had put her clothes in the suitcase in a hurry.

“Do not enter into the heart of what aunt Mutiara said, she was just kidding kok”. Karenina didn't care what Rara said, she wasn't too focused. All he had in mind now was how to hide from Halim, at least until his guardian angel returned.

“Nina, where are you going?” merry's surprised turn saw that Karenina's clothes had already half-entered the suitcase.

“I have to go, I don't know until when”

“Why? Where to?” Merry stopped Karenina's hand from putting her clothes in the suitcase.

“Tante Pearl is not like what you imagine, he is just..”.

“I don't care about Mrs Mutiara, I have bigger problems than I care about Mrs Mutiara”. Halim was the only one that Karenina was worried about right now.

Merry and Rara looked at each other, they had absolutely no idea what kind of problem the housemates were facing.

“What problem do you have, why not a story?” Rara nods Merry's words, Karenina is an open person, she very rarely keeps her own problems. Including yesterday when he met Pearl, he told Merry everything.

Karenina put down the clothes she was holding, she took a breath before starting to tell a story.

“My ex-boyfriend came to Jakarta, he already knows where I work and soon he will definitely come here. I'm sure he'll do everything he can to get me back to Lampung. I don't want to see him again, I have to leave here for a while until William gets home. Only William can help me deal with that man.”

“We can also help you deal with him, you do not need to go”, said Merry.

“Yes, Nin. We will not allow anyone to hurt you especially in front of us”, continued Rara. Right, Karenina is never alone, she's surrounded by people who love her sincerely.

“Thank you yes, but I have to keep going. I must have come back again if that person had been returned to Lampung”

“But where are you going? you have money?” Karenina was silent for a moment.

‘True too, where am I going. Did I stay at the hotel using the card that William gave me. But if Madam Mutiara finds out I use her son's money she'll demean me later’.

“Nina..”

“Hmm”

‘Do I live in William's apartment, he once said that I can come at any time. He also would not be angry if I stayed there’.

“You're thinking what the hell, there's me same Rara here. You can tell me what you thinkin”

“I'll stay a while in William's apartment, he'll also be out of town. So there's nobody in his apartment”. It was only that place that Karenina considered safe enough to hide in at this moment.

Merry and Rara drive Karenina to William's apartment, Karenina just mentions the name of her apartment and Merry immediately knows where the place is.

“You sure you want to stay here?” they had arrived in front of the tall building, Merry's car could not enter the parking area specifically for unit owners so they passed the main door like a guest.

Merry and Rara leave Karenina after seeing Karenina get into the elevator that will take her to William's apartment unit.

‘Fucking Halim base, I have to stay here because of him’. The swearing did not stop Karenina saying, she hated the man who had once stopped in her heart.

Karenina also cursed herself, how she used to be infatuated with Halim just because the man had a handsome face. How he felt proud to be the lover of a man who was quite popular on his campus at that time.

“I used to do that so, look at cute little men directly aja klepek-klepek. Don't see what the background is. Base me.”

After getting tired of babbling and cursing, Karenina slid off towards the bathroom to clean herself up. Afterwards, he went into the dressing room and saw the clothes that William said he had prepared for him. Karenina smiled looking at those clothes.

“Hopefully William won't be like Halim”. Karenina did not wear the clothes that William provided for her, she instead wore William's shirt as her nightgown.

“I borrow your clothes yes, later I wash it if I wear”, he said asking permission on his clothes and not directly on the person. Karenina kissed William's shirt which still stuck to the man's smell.

“I miss very much William, he miss me not yah”. Karenina turned off the main light and began to close her eyes. He felt so good to be in that place.

As Karenina was sound asleep, someone suddenly opened the door of the room. His forehead creased to find a woman peacefully asleep on her bed. Then the two corners of his lips were interested in seeing who the woman was. Yes, William came home when the time showed at two in the morning. She intended to surprise Karenina in the morning, but instead her lover had already given her an incredible surprise.

All the fatigue was gone, William climbed onto the bed joined Karenina under the blanket after cleaning himself first. She hugged Karenina from behind and fell asleep peacefully.
