The love of parents

Sebastian Anggoro and his wife Mutiara were sitting in his living room, they were the arrival of guests who were friends and business partners.

“I came here to talk about something important with y'all”, said Hartono who is Ririn's father after his long stale.

The boy continues to whine at him to visit William's parents and discuss their plea, the only weapon he still has after failing to persuade William directly, William probably wouldn't have refused if his father had asked him to marry Ririn.

“What you want to talk about, Har. Looks like a very important”, Sebastian said.

“We've been friends long enough right, why don't we strengthen our relationship through our children”. Sebastian and Pearl looked at each other with confused faces, then the two turned their eyes back to Hartono.

“What do you mean, Har? Sebastian asked with a frown.

“Why don't we just match them up?” the couple widened their eyes and laughed afterwards.

“I think what would you say”, said Sebastian, replacing Hartono who curled his forehead.

“Why, wouldn't it further tighten our hole, and also no one would match us if our bisnins united”.

“Hahahaaa, S&M is still able to stand alone, Har. I don't want to sacrifice my son for the business of”

“Alright, we don't need to mix it up with business, but I'm serious about setting up Ririn and William. They also used to be very close before William went abroad”. Hartono is still trying to persuade Sebastian, while Pearl is just listening.

This is certainly not the first time anyone has come to offer his daughter to be the daughter-in-law of the Anggoro family, but it will always end with the rejection of Sebastian and Pearl.

“We are indeed William's parents, we raised him with all love and affection, but we have decided not to interfere in the personal affairs of our children, we will let them choose their own life partner” said Sebastian wisely.

“How about we try it?”

“We don't want to, Har. We don't want our children to blame us if at any point they are unhappy with the partner we chose for them. Not to pray that is not good for our children, but if they fail with the partner we choose, at least we will not feel guilty for it”.

Hartono sighed. He had heard from his friends that Sebastian would not play his son with anyone, but for the sake of his son he would try to do so. Sebastian says everything well without trying to offend his friend.

“Why not have Ririn approach William, I think it would have been easier if William had wanted it”, Mutiara said.

Hartono sighed again, “it looks like William already has a lover” he said.

“True, you brash kid, every time I ask him he always denies”, Pearl chatter with annoyance but also his face looks happy, he forgets that just now someone asked them to be besan.

“I'm sorry, Har”, he said after seeing Hartono's face change. “Still lover right, there is still a chance Ririn to win William's heart. Tell him to try harder, I also actually can't wait to have a daughter-in-law”. She said she agreed with her husband.

“I don't think it'll be difficult considering their past relationship?” pearl again. They all knew William and Ririn had been in a very close relationship before William moved abroad, but Sebastian and Mutiara do not know that Ririnlah cause William to leave his studies in Indonesia and continue abroad.

Unlike Hartono who knew everything, he knew William's disappointment in his daughter because Ririn had told his father, at that time Hartono was also very angry with him to slap him. But the fault of a child will not change the affection of parents, therefore Hartono tried his luck even though it seems that luck is not on his side this time.

Hartono left the Anggoro residence disappointed, not disappointed in the Anggoro family who rejected his daughter, but disappointed in himself who could not take care of his daughter so well that he made a mistake that made him lose the man he loved.

“How, Pa” Ririn has been anxiously waiting for her father to come home since earlier.

“I'm sorry Papa, Rin. Papa does not manage to persuade Om Sebastian to match you with William”, Ririn looks down, her tears fall down the floor. His mother hugged his son.

“You better bury your love, Rin. Maybe you guys are not matchmaking” Hartono again convince his son in a subtle way so as not to hurt his heart more.

“Ngak, Pa. Ririn will try to continue until William is willing to accept Rirn back”, the woman is still tight-lipped to reclaim William.

“Do you have no pride, why still want to beg. This five years you can also live happily without him right, so then you can still live happily even without him”, Hartono has started to raise his voice, so that you can still live happily without him, he was getting upset his son still wanted to fight for William.

Ririn runs into her room leaving her parents trying to persuade her to forget William.

“I'll do anything so you can forgive me, Will. You just have to be mine”, she said in between her tears.

Farel had already sweetly leaned back in his car to pick up Karenina as William had told her to. After waiting for thirty minutes more, he finally saw Karenina coming out of the glass door. Karenina was only able to resign when Farel took her into the car.

“Start tomorrow no need to pick up again?” he said a little taut, Farel glanced at him from the rearview mirror, tired face plastered very real framing his face. He sat leaning his body on the back of the car.

“Who dares gosipin you?” their gazes met each other through the rearview mirror. “Whatever I am until no one dared to gosipin me, I just crumpled biscuits in a can, where the can is rusty again ”. Farel laughed, he glanced at Karenina again from the rearview mirror and shook his head.

“You need to stop eating first not”, Farel offers to see his tired face, maybe he needs energy intake.

“Still an old date, I again financial crisis” Farel frowned then chuckled after yelling Karenina intent.

“I am not a person who does not know myself, cook I ask in the same treat you. We are the same hard people”, Farel laughed in a loud voice made Karenina surprised.

‘This guy is completely innocent, can't he see these clothes and watches I'm wearing. Hahaa, it's fitting that my cousin is so crazy about her, she is indeed sweet’.

“I got a bonus from Mr. William, so I want to buy” he said berkatikilah.

“No need, save for yourself”, Farel is silent and no longer pushy.  The road was quite jammed that night, I don't know what caused it. Karenina who was exhausted without feeling began to close her eyes and fall asleep. Farel who saw him sleeping increased the temperature of the ac in the car so that Karenina could sleep comfortably.

Farel waited for about twenty minutes until Karneina woke up when they reached the front of the house, she could not bear to wake him.

“Kta it's been a long time until ya”, his tanyanya stretch his muscles.

“Just”, replied Farel lying.

“Tomorrow do not need to pick up, please”, Karenina to beg by clenching both hands in front of Farel, Karenina, he doesn't want gossip about himself and William gets bigger when the Farel he knows William's driver still picks him up and drives him.

“Alright, I'll say the same William later. Come in and see”, Karenina waves her hand at Farel as Farel starts to drive his car.
