The failed holiday

The day Karenina had been waiting for arrived, today she was going on vacation with all of Dimension's employees. Since last night, Karenina has prepared all her needs during the holidays. The clothes she was going to wear and the accessories were already neatly clutched in the suitcase. Karenina could not even sleep because she imagined a pleasant atmosphere during the holidays there later.

The clock had already shown at seven in the morning, Karenina came out of the room with her casual appearance, she pulled her suitcase and put it in the living room then walked towards the kitchen looking for something for her to eat.

Merry and Rara were there. On the dining table there is also a plate of fried rice that must have been prepared for him.

“Remember bring souvenirs by ya”, Merry said while chewing. Karenina is singing her lips “No money, Mer. If you want to send something all deposit money also”. Karenina chuckled as the tissue Merry had just put on her lips landed on her face.

“Make a keeper of wallet”, replied Karenina giggled amusedly. They continued eating while joking and mocking and then the sound of knocking on the door distracted them.

“Who came in the morning like this?” they glanced at each other as if saying ‘you alone opened the door’. And in the end it was Karenina who relented, she stuffed a mouthful of fried rice in her mouth before standing up to open the door.

Moments after Karenina left, from the kitchen came Merry's cry asking who came but no answer. Curious, Merry and Rara catch up with Karenina. The two girls grew curious to see Karenina frozen in front of the door.

“Who, Nin?” Merry furrowed her brows at the uninvited guest, then saw Karenina's surprised expression.

“Nin..” Karenina's consciousness instantly returned as Merry patted her on the shoulder.

“You why the hell, see Om same Aunt you are rich see devil course”. As usual, Rina always spoke in a taut tone to Karenina.

‘Om, Aunt?’ Merry and Rara looked at each other. They immediately understood why Karenina was so shocked like that.

“Include, Om, Aunte” Rara politely let the two guests into the house. Karenina quickly followed.

“Kok Om to Jakarta did not announce Nina first”, Karenina was sitting next to Malik. His consciousness had completely returned even though he was still very surprised to see Malik and Rina coming.

“Sudden, Nin. There are important things that Om must do in Jakarta ”, said Malik stroking gently Karenina's fingers holding his arm. Karenina accidentally saw the clock hanging on the wall and then saw her suitcase that she had stored near the door.

“A few days ago Nak Willian's parents came to Lampung”, Malik said quickly which made Karenina not so continue what she was going to say.

Rara and Merry lightning fast had joined in the living room, they had indeed eavesdropped on the three people's conversation since then. And when hearing about William's parents who were about to propose to his friend, the two girls just showed themselves.

Karenina who was still very surprised by the sudden arrival of Malik and his wife by bringing news that somehow he had to express it, did not really care what Rina said. While Rara and Merry glanced at him sharply, they finally saw for themselves how irritating Rina was.

The ringing of Karenina's cell phone blew away the silent atmosphere, the woman reached into her bag and took her phone from inside the bag. Rendra's name is on his screen.

“Halo, Pak” Karenina saw Rara and Merry with sad faces. The holiday he was waiting for was falling apart.

“Not William know you want a vacation today?”, Karenina looks to think after Merry spoke earlier.

Karenina's wry face turns upset, she believes William is the main cause of the failure of the vacation plan that she had imagined would be as fun as anything.
