After a casual conversation with his business partner through the media zoom, Ezra opened the application of the mansion surveillance camera from a laptop to see the condition of his wife and two children. He glanced at the watch which showed that dinner time had passed and Zefanya was nowhere to be seen.
Ezra guesses that Zefanya is in his room, where there are no surveillance cameras. Meanwhile, the twins are seen with Laura Aunty in their room.
Ezra zooms in on the screen to see his son and daughter from a closer distance to reduce his longing. Both of his children were already wearing pajamas, rolling on their beds - each ready to sleep. Ezra's finger rubbed the laptop screen, wanting to feel Ezra coming home and kissing both of them. Joking and cradling them, as a tired drug after working all day.
But now he is deliberately away from Zefanya, hoping his wife can feel something is missing when there is no self as well as introspection. Despite the longing to burst in the chest, this time he had to endure. The desire to immediately gather with his small family was suppressed - exhausted. These days, Ezra lives in a rest house in order to rethink their marriage.
Suddenly his phone vibrated a sign of a message coming in. He checked his phone and read a name he missed so much, my beloved one. Then there were a few words that appeared in the pop up of his phone.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry, can we meet?"
Just by reading the name on the screen, Ezra's heart was beating very fast, and now coupled with Zefanya's apology and his desire to meet. Is this a good sign? Or is there something bad that Zephaniah seeks? But on the monitor screen, everything is fine. Is his wife sick again?
Worrying and wanting to beat everything, Ezra never feared that Zefanya would disappoint him again. His love for his wife is too great. Accustomed to being spoiled by Ezra, the young woman never looked for her husband first when they quarreled. And now Zefanya contacted him first after repeatedly rejecting him and asking for divorce. Ezra was worried.
"Darling? Are you okay?" ask Ezra worried. He answered Zefanya's call while staring at the laptop screen and went back to looking for Zefanya's whereabouts. But, there's no. While across there, Zefanya could not hold back her tears and immediately nodded while apologizing.
Ezra frowned and immediately changed the phone call into a video call.
"Don't, Ez. My face is very bad at the moment." Zefanya refused as she continued to cry.
"My words you've always been beautiful, Zie. Whatever the condition. Tell me why are you crying?"
"Go home, Ez."
Ezra was stunned for a moment, it felt so long not to hear the request to come home from his beloved woman. In the past, every day Zefanya always asked what time she came home from the office. Every time she left home, she would demand that she call. Then at home, Zefanya tailed wherever she went.
Maybe some men don't like clingy women like Zefanya, but not Ezra. She felt needed every time she whined. The difference in age far enough to make him always familiar with the nature of childish - kanakan Zefanya.
Ezra. "Yes?" his question seemed to make sure that Zefanya asked him to go home.
"I miss you."
"I'm home now." break up Ezra fast. After that he rushed to turn off the laptop, impatient to see his wife again.
In the mansion, time seemed to be running slowly for Zefanya. From her aunt, she knew that Ezra was not going anywhere, just staying in a rest house. That is why Zephaniah sent Ezra home. Louis and Louisa were already sleeping in their room, and Zephaniah was impatiently waiting for Ezra to come home.
The time has shown almost nine, the journey from the resting house to the house takes about one to two hours.
Zephaniah received a message from Ezra, "If what you are about to say is good news, wait for me in our room. Main chamber. I'll go straight there."
Zefanya looked at the screen of her phone with her heart pounding hard. Her feelings were the same as when she was waiting for Ezra to pick her up on their first date.
Okay, this is the time. Now or not at all. The zephanya tiptoed toward the twins room, then turned his head inward. His daughter seemed to support the situation today, they were sleeping soundly.
Aunty Laura slept in a different room but on the same floor as the twins. Zephaniah passed through his aunt's room and did not hear any sound. Maybe her aunt is resting.
Zefanya continued her steps up the stairs and continued walking towards their room. His eyes stared at a door leading to the room that was the main highlight of all the rooms in this mansion. The most spacious room with the most complete facilities, a large bed, a comfortable bathroom equipped with a whirpool pool, walk in closet and the most interesting is a window with a giant glass overlooking the lake. It was like sleeping in nature.
Zefanya went into the walk in closet and found all her clothes were still neatly arranged there. He circled his gaze, not a single piece of clothing fit for the atmosphere tonight.
His guilt for Ezra was too great, so his apology should be followed by something special. Ezra deserves to be compensated for any suffering he has suffered over the past year.
Then Zefanya shifted to Ezra's row of clothes, an idea rising in her head. She wanted to give something a little different to her husband tonight.
Zefanya picked up a shirt belonging to Ezra and smelled the delicate fragrance of fragrant clothes. His hand stroked that delicate premium cotton cloth. He likes to see Ezra in his office suit. When exhausted after a long meeting or coming home from the office, Ezra will take off his suit and roll up the sleeves of the shirt. The tie is still hanging on the neck with the ties already loose. Ezra's messy appearance is his favorite, looks s-e-x-y.
All righty! Tonight he'll forget his thin clothes and switch to Ezra's shirt. Then Zefanya set herself in front of the mirror, ascertaining whether there is anything lacking. Ah, perfume! The scent of Ezra still lingered in her memory, Zefanya grabbed a bottle of perfume that her husband used to wear and sprayed it on her pulse points, wrists, neck and in the hemispheres. At once Ezra's distinctive scent surrounded him, as if the man was here and hugging him.
Zefanya's smile. The burden was released and now ready to make her husband happy. Once again she checked her appearance, applied lip balm on her lips and prepared to wait for her husband.
He was calming the heartbeat by standing in front of a glass window, looking at the lake which was only illuminated by lights, then footsteps could be heard approaching. Zefanya took a deep breath and tried to display her best smile.
